Williams Hardwood Flooring

I used Williams to refinish the floors in my house. Overall, they did a good job, and finished early. Some spots were rough after the stain and coat, but that's OK. The reason I didn't give it a 5-star was because they did not put a transition piece from my dining room to my three seasons room. The rep mentioned they usually don't do that after I pointed it out, but offered to drop a piece of trim off (which was very nice of him). However, it's been over 1.5 months, ,a nd I still have not received the trim. I'd use Williams again do to their low cost, but definitely make sure you get all the transition pieces you need.

After some scheduling hiccups. the work done was excellent. We had 3 bedrooms refinished. The process was truly dustless and the work was done quickly (he even stayed longer the first day to get them all sanded and the first coat of poly on). The refinished floors look amazing! I would not recommend this company to anyone. I understand that home remodeling and reputable contractors are extremely busy right now but the service that I have received from Williams has been completely unacceptable. I schedule an estimate back in February of this year for a hardwood floor install. They came out on March 8th to measure and look at the job.

The gentleman that was the estimator was professional and on time and that's where the good ends. He advised me that it would be 2 weeks to get the estimate and they could work my job in since it was a medium sized room. Two and half weeks passed and no estimate and I called to check in to see if I missed it in my email or if it would be longer. Was told it was no available but would check in with my salesman.

I called three more times over the next 2 months looking for my estimate. Never received it. As a last ditch effort I called august 12th to see if they had my estimate to compare with what I had gotten from other companies and was told I would get a call back that day to locate it. As of today august 16th never received a callback and called this morning to be told they still were working on my estimate. This company couldn't care less about my business and when I told them I had a terrible experience and I'd be leaving a review they offered no apologies.

Bought 1200 square feet of 3/4" x 2 1/4" oak flooring. BEST price in Cleveland/Akron areas! Wood was without compromise for quality and installed as expected. Customer service was helpful and courteous. Also purchased Bona finish. Had a couple unopened bundles leftover which they took back. I can't recommend them enough and would buy from them again without a second thought.

Tried and true flooring business that has been around for a long time, and for good reason. They do everything from residential to full hardwood basketball courts. The sales team is genuine and truly want you to be happy in your choices, with no pressure. Installers are experienced and informative and you can tell they've been doing this stuff for awhile. The entire team top to bottom are patient and informative with any questions. I hope these guys continue to thrive.

I really like dealing with this place. Even if you're only coming in to pick up a few pieces of wood for a small repair, they treat you like you have a million dollar account. Been here a few times and they've never steered me wrong. It's nice going into small local businesses because they need you to stay in business. And it shows! Keep up the great work and I'll keep telling everyone who asks about floors to come your way!

Excellent experience. Fantastic staff took the time to walk me.through every aspect of product purchase, install and then care. We travelled an hour & 15 minutes just to see them and it was worth every minutes price in gold!

We used these folks to repair and refinish a 400 square foot hardwood floor in our second floor studio. They did a wonderful job. They were on time and very diligent.

These guys get it right. I've brought in pieces of flooring I had to replace and they were able to identify the wood and sell me the replacement boards I needed. The guy behind the counter has been both friendly and knowledgeable every time I've been in. I highly recommend them.

We had this company refinish our hardwood floors 24 years a go and they did an great job. Fast forward to today--we plan on having our floors refinished again so we had them come out a year ago to quote the job. We called multiple times and they said they were swamped but would get it out. Ten months later they tell us that they lost the paperwork.

They came back out and quoted the job and were 50% higher than another reputable company using the same finish! We brought this to their attention thinking that it had to be an error and were told to just use the other company.
