We went to the store several times trying to decide on what type of trees we wanted to plant in our yard. The staff was very patient with our multiple trips and asked us enough questions to make a good recommendation. They even directed me in a less expensive direction that better fit my needs. They gave us a timeline for when they could plant the trees and were on-time. Every part of the experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be using Tom's Tree Place for our next purchases.

I was playing at a park with my kids today and they started mowing next to us. His mower was throwing dirt and rocks all over my kids which hurt and can be very dangerous. I told the man who did it and he just ignored he was doing it and continued to mow the same spot over and over just out of spite. Very unprofessional and will definitely not ever use them.

I went to Tom's Tree Place today May 21st and wasn't acknowledged by any employee and actually the same guy passed me three times and never looked at me. I don't know how a business stays in business when your products don't have prices. Is it the customer's responsibility to chase down an employee and ask for prices are nearly all the plants/products you sell? Please be leery of this business. Maybe something will change with these suggestions? Time will only tell.

I've used Tom's Tree Place at least a half dozen times for trees, shrubs, landscape rocks, etc. Their products are much better, and have a better survival rate than big box store plants because they know what grows well in Lubbock. Also, they have the labor and equipment to plant larger trees because they have the special equipment. They are also able to deliver LARGE rocks for landscaping. Very nice folks. Oh, and I like their mid-century building. its a Lubbock landmark!

Staff is always helpful and I ask a lot of questions. We live 1-1/2 hours from Lubbock. A friend purchased 5 Afghan Pine trees from Tom's Trees. They delivered, planted and staked the trees. The trees have been in the ground for 2 years and are just beautiful. I will be going to Tom's for my next purchase to get the information and products I need.

Unprofessional staff! We put an order in for 12 trees, were told we would be put on a call list, never received a call. Went to Tom's tree place and bought another tree and casually asked if the trees we ordered had arrived. The girl at the counter said she didn't call because she said she didn't think we would like the price. This is completely inappropriate behavior and shows a huge lack of customer service. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Don't shop local here!

Saw that this place had great reviews! I have a huge backyard project that I needed done. Attempt 1: Went to the store and asked for their architect. Lady told me to call a number. No one willing to help. So I left. Attempt 2: Talked on the phone for some details. Architect came looked around. Didn't care for anything I had to say. He left. Never heard back. Attempt 3: Called again. Pros Not sure, neat little shop Cons They are 'busy', could care less about you

I live two hours away from Lubbock. Had never done business with these guys. Met them on the phone. They came to the ranch and moved several trees. Very professional, did a great job. Very knowledgeable. Intend to buy several trees from them this fall. Reasonable prices, top notch work! I saw one guy said they charge too much.guessing the last time he hired someone to work on his trees is when he put them in. I agree.not the cheapest, but a good value.

They were professional and have a nice selection of trees. The company that i hired to remove my stump just grinded it down and left most of it buried out of site, they went ahead and removed the stump for me when they planted my tree! I would suggest them to anyone in the area. Ill update how my tree is doing eventually.
