Globe Window Cleaning was started in Mansfield Ohio in 1941 by Andrew DeCapio. Andy cleaned windows in the Mansfield area, including Shelby, Mt Vernon, and Gallion until his death on July 5, 1967. Ronald DeCapio, his only son, soon acquired the business from his mother. Ron had his own window cleaning and janitorial business, Richland Window Cleaning, from 1963 to 1967.

He merged the businesses together into Globe Window Cleaning Co. in 1967 In 1971, in search of new opportunities, Ron started looking for work in Columbus. Several projects here including The Ohio State University including the Hospital made it obvious that the state capital was the place to be and he moved the company to Columbus, Ohio in 1979.

I am so beyond happy with how my poorly neglected windows turned out! I had no idea how much of last years forrest fire ash was caked on there or just how bad I'd let the tracks get. I recently had the exterior windows of the four buildings under my control cleaned by Globe. It was impressive how well their team addressed this project and the speed at which they worked. We had lift equipment on busy streets, climbers hanging off the sides of the buildings and all during business hours. And yet. not one single incident, not one single complaint.
