We have used Empire for the past 30 years at our house. They are the only company we will use. Jeff Kern has done many different things for us, We have had fans put in, new lighting installed in kitchen, too many to mention. We never have to wait for a call back from them when we call. We are very pleased with the company and we will continue to be their customers.

I was very pleased with Empire Electric service and their employees. They replaced the riser from the underground electric to my panel which was rusted out, and added new ceiling lights, new recepticals and timers. Two different teams came to my house and completed all the work that I requested, cleaned up after themselves and explained exactly what they did. I definitely would use their services again. Nice work!

Really tried to use local vendors for upgrading my boat lift from manual switches to remote. I was directed to Empire Electrical (Jeff) by The Boat Pros who told me Jeff does all remote installs for them. I saw they close at 3:30 and it was after that so I sent an email to Jeff Kern as a heads up on what I wanted to do and that I was looking for information and cost.

I told him that I would call the next day. When I did call the next day, his phone rang and rang so I waited for the VM to pick up. Instead, he took the call and then immediately hung up. I guess they have all the money they want so they don't need any more business. Save your valuable time and find someone reputable that will take the calls and respond to potential business. Duncan Sea Wall (Sarasota) is such a company. Very professional, informative, and very willing to help new customers - thanks Terry!

Had an electrical problem at our vacation rental property. Technician came out promptly, resolved the problem, and was very courteous to our guests. Office staff (Jessica) was easy to work with payment was a simple process. They became my go to today by being great to work with.

It's hard to believe they have a 4.9 out of 5 for reviews. These people sent Idiots to do the job at my home twice. they reeked with stale old cigarettes, they argued, they went behind our backs right in front of us to whine to their boss, they insisted I had to take out a fan.which I reluctantly went along with and then cut electric and flood lights to the outside without rewiring them or telling me at all.

They came into my home touching curtains and walls and furniture and art on the wall. leaving the reek of their nasty cigarette stench behind that I then had to have cleaned. AFTER ALL THAT. THEY FAILED THE INSPECTION THEY DIDNT EVEN SCHEDULE OR TELL ME I HAD TO DO. 5 months later I get a bill with an exceedingly threatning letter saying I would have to go through them (Empire Electric), to get any sort of permitting to do any kind of home improvement.

Now Wait A Minute there Mr Jeff. I never got an original bill to begin with. and this is what I recieve 5 months later? How Professional is that? So I send At this point 2 POST DATED CHECKS FOR MAY 1ST 2019 AND MAY 22 2019 AND THEY GO THROUGH SOME CHECK CASHING COMPANY, ( WE. MY BANK.THINK), DELIBERATELY WITHOUT SIGNING THE CHECKS SO YOU DONT KNOW WHO DID IT.SNEEKY RIGHT? AND SOME HOW GET SOME OTHER IDIOT, (the check cashing place),T O TAKE THE BLAME FOR IT. so they dont get into trouble? LEAVING IT ON SOMEONE ELSE. WELL GUESS WHAT. THERE IS A FRAUD CASE NOW IN PROGRESS ON EVERYONE INVOLVED. WHOS FAULT IS THIS? EMPIRE ELECTRIC. THATS WHO. THE THING IS THEY NOT ONLY HURT ME. THEY HURT THEMSELVES AND THE CASHING PLACE TOO. THATS OKAY. I CAN TYPE AND I CAN WRITE AND I CAN GIVE REVIEWS TOO. EVERYWHERE.

Got an estimate for $150 for a Hot Water heater to be hard wired. Got charged $310.00. I called them up and they sent me a new bill for $150. I had already paid the $310. Waiting for a refund. I hope it was all just a mistake, I hate to see companies trying to rip off hard working people. The work they did was excellent.
