Gateway Electric, LLC began in December 2009. For parent company HGB Group, this marked a major step into establishing a foothold into the U.S. market. HGB Group operates in Mexico through 3 independently owned and operated electrical material distributorships. *In 2012, one of these companies, Breaker Electric S.A. de C.V. achieved the prestigious award #1 Distributor for Switchgear in Latin America for GE Industrial Services.

With over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry in Mexico, branching out to Texas was always viewed as an important step for HGB Group's corporate strategy. In the short time Gateway Electric, LLC has been in the Laredo, TX market, we have attained exposure as a company that can get any job done.
