Marta Mitchell Interior Design

I am so grateful for Marta Mitchell. I had one room in my new house that was driving me crazy. Eight months ago, Marta and a colleague came to my house for one hour (for a very reasonable price). We talked for a couple minutes and then they started moving stuff around and recommending things. It was amazing. They're geniuses. They did things I would have never thought of.

Another thing I'm grateful for is their communication. I was emailed about the appointment, and that was it. No spam in my inbox! Thank you! I highly recommend them for one-off projects/consults.

Working with Peter and Marta on the video project featuring the Covid Warrior bedroom makeover in the fall of 2020 was a pleasure. Marta and her team did a wonderful job!

As a vendor working with Marta Mitchell Interior Design, I have been privy to meetings with clients and staff meetings as they brainstorm the details of their client's homes. What has impressed me is the manner in which Marta and her team, truly listen to their clients, making notes on their likes, dislikes, as well as paying special attention to how their clients live.

Many designers can create beautiful spaces, but if they are not functional for the clients living in them, then all that beauty is a waste, so Marta and her team make sure that form and function are always intertwined. Again, I am a vendor to the team, so I have a inside view to their "behind the scenes" talks. They are always so respectful of their clients.

Additionally, I respect how Marta and the team guide their clients thru the process, showing them how good quality and carefully thought out design is an investment, that pays out dividends with years of use and enjoyment. My master bathroom remodel was my second experience working with Marta. Marta and her entire staff were very professional, very talented and loads of fun. I really looked forward to each of our meetings. The plans that Marta drew up were brilliant and clever and she had an excellent working relationship with our building contractor. Marta stayed within our budget and time frame and she made the decision making process very simple. I will certainly plan to work with Marta again on my next project.

Marta is terrific to work with! She is fun, creative, works well with deadlines and budgets and designs for a practical and comfortable lifestyle. My husband and i both love what she's done with our home which was a "bachelor's pad" when we purchased it. She has done a great job blending my traditional style and antiques with a more contemporary home. We highly recommend Marta and have several friends who use her - i love what she's done with their homes as well.

Our experience working with Marta and her staff could not have been better. We found Marta to be very gifted as a decorator. Her strengths were the ability to understand our needs for our house and our lifestyle. In getting to know us Marta was able to fuse her vast decorating experiences helping and guiding us in multiple options for renovating our house both exterior and interior. Marta is very professional and very relational in her communication skills. Lastly, her support staff was very attentive to our needs staying in close communication throughout the entire decorating process. After working with several accomplished decorator in the past clearly Marta was simply the very best!

Marta is wonderful! I recently bought a fairly "dated" house - walls needed to be taken down and the entire first floor needed to be updated. Marta handled the project from the start with wonderful designs, excellent ideas and she worked with the contractors from start to finish. Her knowledge of color, fabrics and furniture were fantastic and she turned my new house into the perfect home for me! Marta is extremely fun and easy to work with, I even gave "her" as a housewarming gift to close friends moving into the area!
