Bud Hurter, resident of Manatee County since 1974, opened Flooring Depot with a simple philosophy: buy in bulk and pass the savings along to the consumer. Most retail flooring stores only order from the factory as needed; anyone who buys a display rack can be in the carpet business. Originally we were only a carpet store, offering 400 rolls of carpet on stock and roll racks from Canada.
At our store, customers could see entire rolls of carpet, bought as specials from other warehouses. Now, we have expanded to provide an even better selection of wood and laminate tile flooring in our showroom of designer products.
