COR Improvements

I called because I needed a door repaired. I spoke with Justin who told me they didn't repair doors, but he would try to find someone who did. He was kind enough to take time out of his day to look up several companies that he thought could help me with my problem. I felt the need to give this company a five star review even thought I didn't need or use their service at this time because, with employees like Justin should the need arise in the future where I do need the services they offer, I will definitely call COR first.

We recently worked with COR Improvements on an addition to our home in Wauwatosa. We couldn't be happier with the results and the experience! Our project was a bit complicated - it involved building a new garage with a second-floor master suite above and connecting it to our existing 1920 home. COR managed the process with expertise and creativity.

We've received numerous compliments from our neighbors regarding how the addition blends perfectly with our existing home and "looks like it was always there." Throughout the project, the COR team was thoughtful and professional. Their communication was outstanding. They consistently provided updates, guidance and suggestions; and kept us well-informed during construction.

Perhaps most important, all of the people involved in the project (both from the COR team and their subcontractors' teams) were great to work with. It was evident that they cared about our project. When engaging in a large construction project that involved a lot of people in and out of our home, it's great to be working with people that you like and trust. We highly recommend COR Improvements!

COR Improvements was great to work with from beginning to end on our kitchen remodel. They listened to what we wanted and worked with us to create a design at a manageable budget for us. The project included a complete kitchen remodel and new flooring and trim throughout main living space. They were professional, responsive, on time and within budget.not sure what else you could ask for.

COR Improvements has been amazing to work with. Their attention to detail is remarkable, and the transformation that took place with our kitchen and bath was amazing. We received at least weekly communication with updates as things progressed. Every person who came in to do work was professional and so easy to work with. This was the second project we have used them for and as far as I am concerned, the only company we would use for our improvement projects.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Cracks in many sufaces & uneven furnishings Has been nothing but a headache for 1 year! Updating today.so unprofessional! Still waiting. Problem "acknowledged" but nothing has changed since photos below. I am spending money to go through a tedious legal process two months after the leak that COR caused was discovered. Our living room ceiling under the MB looked like this 3 weeks after master bath and kitchen remodel finally "finished", and almost one year after the start date. Flaw in the shower construction and hole in ceiling not fixed yet. Contractor made a hole in the ceiling to try to find the leak and now trying to get me to sign a waiver to release obligation for further claims BEFORE THEY REPAIR THE HOLE THEY MADE! "We are willing and able to repair the drywall on the ceiling and move the piano to its original location. Based upon your recent statements regarding other issues/concerns, we will be unable to perform the above referenced work until you execute a full release as to past, present and future claims against COR" Verbatim email from the owner- trying to use the hole they made as leverage to stop me from trying to get them to fix their work.

Do you want to deal with a contractor who treats you like this when they already got your money, the work is under ^warranty" and there is a problem? Refusing to fix bench seat that slopes AWAY from shower letting water pool and causing leak. Their solution was caulk (that doesn't even match) on the surface of the bench seat as a cover up to a failed water barrier underneath! I can and will go on about this company. Long list of missed deadlines and screw ups to follow.

Cor Improvements is a wonderful company! I have worked with them on several projects and am very impressed with their communication, execution and final result! The quality of the work and people are superior! I highly recommend them to anyone who is considering remodeling. Maretes was incredible from day one with our kitchen and guest bathroom remodel. We did a full kitchen remodel and almost a full bathroom (we left the existing floors). She listened to what was important to us as the client and used that information to draw up her plans. In less than 2 months, we were able to see her vision come to life with a kitchen more beautiful than we could have imagined and a modern, stunning bathroom. Maretes was at our house every day in that time to check on progress and to communicate every step of the process. I'm so thankful for Maretes and COR Improvements. They really do incredible and efficient work!

COR Improvements is hands-down the best contracting company we've ever worked with. We've had extensive work done on our home over the years, and are thrilled that we've found our "forever contractor" (yes it's a thing.) We are now on our second large project with COR. We were thrilled with the results of the first kitchen remodel. Here are the core reasons we keep coming back to COR: 1) customer service 2) communication is excellent 3) meticulous attention to every detail 4) owner is ethical, attentive, double and triple checks the work 5) every team member or sub-contractor has done a great job and bonus - they've all been friendly! 6) did I mention communication? We can't recommend COR strongly enough!
