Ryson Roofing

I wouldn't recommend using Ryson. I wish I had read the reviews before choosing them. My roof was not installed properly and within a week I had a leak. They came out to "fix it" and it hasn't leaked again. They painted the water spots the leak created. However, now where the gentlemen is standing where he was repairing the ripped improperly installed shingle my roof now has a wrinkle.

They will not rectify it. They are roofers but claiming now I have warped decking or structural issues. Take your pick. Neither issues were present prior to the roof change. The wrinkle or warped decking is a result of the rain water that got into my home from their poor installation. While they did make several attempts they ultimately elected not to address the wrinkle or the raised shingles on my roofs ridge line. They have threatened to sue me. I don't wish to pay for a poorly installed roof that caused damage to my home. I do not recommend this company.

Ryson was very easy to work with and kept us updated throughout the entire process. Brittany, especially, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She helped us through our entire roofing claim from start to finish. They had someone here to meet with our insurance rep to represent us on the claim to ensure nothing was overlooked. The whole crew was very prompt and professional with the roof installation. Would definitely recommend to others.

My roof was replaced by Ryson due to damage this year, 2022. While the process of getting everything started as fine, the quality of work was less than adequate. Several opportunities to communicate issues found or not performed correctly to myself were not performed. Several examples are, not replacing the turtle back vent over the electric stove vent, with the vent in the 4th picture, (which after several attempts to get it replaced, I just replaced it myself).

Several gutter guards were missing, which I replaced and wood on the eave was broken when a sheet of plywood was replaced. Not one on these issues were ever discussed with me, and was found when I did an inspection. I was told an inspection by Ryson was completed, but how could missing wood be missed if it was performed like it should have. Communication of any issues between the job supervisor and customer should always be a priority and it was, for lack of better words, poor.

Ryson Roofing was awesome! They did a great job, installed a beautiful new roof on my home in one day start to finish and they cleaned up after themselves as well. They worked with my insurance company and made the process effortless. I would recommend anyone needing roof repairs or a new roof to contact Ryson! It did take a while for them to get started, but that is because everyone in the State is getting a new roof practically. The morning of the installation, they dropped materials, had the trailer in place before 6 am. At lunchtime, they were wrapping it up. It is true and they work and grind with your insurance company to get everything you deserve for the expenses of repairs or replacement. I would highly recommend using them without reservations.

I love my new roof. It looks beautiful. One thing that I especially like about Ryson is that they send someone to oversee the job. The workers spoke Spanish so I couldn't ask them if had any questions but I could ask Mike. The workers would arrive early in the morning, then Mike would arrive to make sure that everything was going ok. He would answer anything I asked.

He was great! He was also there when the materials were delivered to make sure everything was there and correct. Of course I found a few left over nails in my yard but for the most, they did find or pick up all of them. We had a couple of spots that the wood needed replaced and they replaced it for us and even fixed a part of our ridge vent that needed to be wider ( I think I'm saying this correctly).

Great service. I had the same person deal with me the entire project. Excellent communication and kept me informed of everything. Fast turnaround considering how much is going on because of Ida. Fair prices and the workers did the entire roof in 1 day (just mild clean up on day 2). It rained the next day and the new roof held up perfectly. It looks great and I am very pleased with Ryson. I'd definitely recommend them.

We highly recommend Ryson Roofing, Baton Rouge! They worked to demonstrate and properly document damages to our insurer. Our roof has many steep pitches and gables which they handled perfectly! Farrah is a true asset to the organization - patient, pleasant, & professional. The job supervisor was communicative, prompt, and on-site. This company knows their business well and seems to have the customers interest and satisfaction as their number one priority.

Our roof was damaged when hurricane Ida came through. After several weeks of waiting on insurance for help we found out they were not paying anything. I found a flyer from Ryson Roofers in the coupon packet that comes in the mail so I contacted them. Ms. Farrah reponded back and it didn't take very long at all before we had a new roof. It looks great. Now we don't need to worry about leaks or anybody falling through should we need to blow leaves off. I highly recomm

The experience me and my parents had with Ryson Roofing on a scale from 1 to 10 was absolutely a 10. Farrah the lady that I contacted and was dealing with this claim was extremely professional and went above and beyond to help us in getting this job done. I will refer this company to all in need of a roof or roof repairs because everyone from the staff to the workers that put the roof on handled them self in a very professional matter.

They failed to seal my roof properly. When it was noticed I asked for them to come out and correct the issue. After a week of emails back and forth I was told to hire someone else to come out and correct the problem.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness Same as the other reviewers. Just a bunch of Rigamarole. Wanted to deal directly with my insurance company. Wouldn't talk to me about giving me an estimate so i could compare with other estimates that I received from more professional companies. Steer clear of this company.

Ok I almost never do reviews unless there is and absolutely very good reason to do so, Ryson Roofing has indeed provided me with that absolute! Love the no nonsense approach from start to finish every question ask was answered without delay, Mrs. Shelly was awesome in making me feel comfortable, & confident as this was my first experience in dealing with a roofing company that do things a bit different from others, as for the job they did on my roof, Love It!

On or around 3/30/21 a potential roof issue was discovered from the work that Ryson did. It was communicated that I'd like to have someone come out and look at it. You'll see by the email that I was told when someone would be coming out (not asked when a good time would be to set an appointment). That day rain was in the forecast. The next email shows when weather would be better and I would be free.

No response came after my email. Google will not allow two reviews under the same name but look at my first review under Melvin Dillon jr to see how my first initial encounter went with them. One crazy and totally not understandable thing about this whole matter is how the service is (as is in evidence) but I can count on receiving a reply "from the owner" on this review. Take your chances with these guys if you wish.

Ryson Roofing just replaced my roof. They were professional and communicated throughout the whole process. The installation of the roof was completed with out a problem, in a timely manner and the crew cleaned up very well after the job was done. They were able to help navigate and work with my insurance company as well. I would recommend Ryson Roofing to anyone.

Ryson completed my roof replacement yesterday, and it was a very smooth process from start to finish. Farrah guided me through the entire process, and was very informative throughout. The inspector, the installation crew, and the job foreman were all very professional and courteous. They did a great job and were always willing to answer any questions we had. I would recommend to use this company for anyone needing a roof!

After a recent storm, I noticed a couple of shingles in my back yard. I called 5 different local roofing contractors to look at repairing. The inspector from Ryson was the only one that noticed storm damage to other parts of my roof. He helped me work with my insurance company to replace. Within 2 weeks, I had a new roof paid for 100% by my insurance company. The new roof looks amazing. They used high quality CertainTeed shingles. They communicated with me through the entire process.

I informed Mitch if Ryson Roofing that I wanted like kind and quality boards to replace wet decking (charged at $100 per board). I came home to find OSB used that clearly is different than what is on my roof. No word or communication was given at all. When I arrived home, I found leftover materials right in the middle of my yard with communication although I had been communicating with them so they had my number and email.

Do not expect communication from this company until it is time to pay. I chose them because of the name, but for what I got, and charge per board, any roofing company probably could have provided the same or better and acted like I was important during the process.

Called at least 4 times.never returned calls.went with better roofing company. Only selected one star cause I was forced

Every step of the process was seamless. Every phone call was immediately followed with an email detailing the conversation. I was told the crew would arrive at 6:30am, they drove up at 6:29am. All of the employees were professional. We had additional decking that needed replacing and they handled all of those repairs without delaying the completion.

And clean up.there are no words that could adequately describe how well they cleaned up after they were done. We had to search the yard several times just to find a couple of nails. We highly recommend using Ryson Roofing!

The most professional company ive ever worked with. 1st the quote process was smooth. They worked with my insurance co. The roofing crew actually showed up ON Time. That's rare. They cleaned up.

My roof started leaking after a couple of hail storms. My husband went up on the roof but couldn't find any obvious damage. When the rep from Ryson came out, he showed us pictures of where the hail had damaged the roof. I had Ryson Roofing replace the roof. They worked with our insurance company to make sure that the scope of the job was properly documented for the claims department.

Weather was an issue for setting a work date. That said, they came out when they said they would and replace the roof. They left a clean work site when they were finished. The roof looks great. I would use Ryson Roofing again (hopefully, I won't need to but you never know with our weather). I have recommended them to friends and family.

We had them replace a roof after the hurricane. His quote was competitive, he showed up when he said he would, the work was done on time and there were no hidden charges. The roof looks great. When they were done, the yard was as clean as he found it; actually cleaner. You can't ask for more. We would use him again. All in all, a great family owned roofing company.
