Highly recommend! This company is my GO-TO for any remodeling project. Reliable and delivers the highest quality work. My experience with Distinctive Hardwood Floors: 2016: had original pine hardwoods in a 1915 bungalow under carpet, painted wood, and 1950's linoleum. Floors turned out phenomenal. Home was put back into order and trim work was impeccable. 2019: purchased another property, original oak hardwoods restored to original beauty. Flooring work was a major improvement that led to a Reed College home selling $92,000 over list price. 2020: required engineered flooring in basement bathroom and kitchen.

As I was selling, they made it a priority and had the floors installed on day 1!? Turned our spectacular. 2021: Consultation for laminate in an basement area that is subject to flooding. Project booked, and I can't wait for beautiful new floors to change the space The owner is thorough, kind, and exceptional. Easy to communicate with, and just an all-around great person and contracting professional. I'd recommend getting a quote to compare, you'll be pleased you did.

Dan and his team installed our beautiful ebony stained hardwood floors over 16 years ago. They are just now due for a light touchup. Even though it's been years he responded to our call right away. If there had been Google reviews 16 years ago I would have given him five stars then. The floors have held up wonderfully and their workmanship is excellent.

We had a poor experience with another supplier and their product was returned to them. This put our project out another 3 months. We contacted Dan on the recommendation of Hardwood Industries. He kept all of his appointments for this job. Gave us a fair price. Explained the processes and consequences of using the products we chose which is 6 inch rift and quarter sawn white oak with a Rubio mono coat finish.

His employee is a working machine and hardly ever took a break! The job was finished 2 weeks ahead of schedule! The floor is beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Thank you Dan and Mark!

Best hardwood floor company in town. I've worked with Dan numerous times with flooring projects for our clients with total satisfaction. I used Distinctive in 2019 to install our 5 plank oak floors. The crew worked hard and got it installed fast! Next the sanding and finishing with a matte swedish finish. I have to say my favorite part of our whole remodel is the floors.

Dan and his crew were absolutely wonderful to work with! They refinished and stained my hardwood floors and they look gorgeous! Dan and his crew did a fantastic job on my #2 White oak floors. I had them Remove the old carpeting from my house, install a #2 White oak floor and I'm happy I took Dan's advice and went with the custom border inlay trim ( Wenge? ) that surrounds my floor. It made the floor really stand out with a nice custom look. I would highly recommend Distinctive Floors!
