Howard is unprofessional and can't keep up with the demand. My parents are elderly sand swore by him years back. I emailed, and also used the website to get in touch with him. He told me twice he could do the job (a couch redone over, and some new cushions). I called and left messages. I texted him a couple of times. He was supposed to come on a Tuesday (this was to confirm on a Monday), he didn't even remember booking the job and asked me what the urgency was (he said it would take six to eight weeks) because he had bigger jobs.

So happy with my new re-upholstered couch cushions! Just the right amount of firmness and comfort. Howard was also incredibly accommodating to my schedule. Professional and a pleasure to work with. I'll be coming back for all my furniture needs!

The details of the piping all around the chair is better than what was originally on it. Before making a decision to hire Howard and his team to reupholster few pieces of my aunties furniture (circa 1870' -1890's), I called few different places in Brooklyn and Staten Island. No one was able to provide me with either with proper assistance or estimation. I was about to give up and leave my furniture as it was - smelly, with ugly stains and wood base falling apart.

I found Howard's company on Google. As the others before. From the first short conversation, I knew he was the one I was to work with. Reassuring and knowing exactly what he was talking about, Howard provided me with the estimation, valuable advise on what it was needed to be done to preserve the pieces for future generations and offered reasonable price. Mr. Howard gave the second (?) life to my Victorian chairs and a foyer bench.

I must say I had no knowledge on upholstery and furniture restoration and was doing this for the first time in my life. Thus, I was thinking that my antiques need just new fabric and they will be just fine - fine for admiring them - I could not practically use them because they looked like they will fall apart if you do. Straight to the point: Howard reinforced the wood frames (not sure I am using the right word), replaced the springs (?) and changed the fabric. Howard and his craftsmen transformed my pieces from the inside and out and lacking life antique furniture turned into stunning something that one can USE, admire and enjoy. Thank you, guys.

Howard reupholstered (and refinished the legs) of two chairs for a client, which came out INCREDIBLE. He also made slipcovers for their daughter's room, which were done so well. Killer work!

My experience was excellent. Howard came to the house with samples and I was able to select a color using the natural light of the room where the reupholstered chair would live. Pick up and delivery were easy with Howard in attendance both times. The final result is beautiful - exceeding my expectations - workmanship excellent. The appearance of the entire room has changed for the better!

Howard was awesome! He was not only able to accommodate our tight time frame but was flexible when our timing changed. The craftsmanship on all three pieces is outstanding. The loveseat he reupholstered has been in my husband's family for years and has never looked so good. Howard even took the time to recondition the wood frame. Highly recommend!
