Artistic Fence

Artistic Fence was the only one of four companies who gave me an estimate which included detailed knowledge of my town's building code right off the bat. Although they are a smaller company than some others they worked me on pricing and performed a vinyl fence install in my yard. Everything was explained well, they came when they said they would. The estimate said the job would take one day but it ended up taking 1.5 days and that was fine with me because the quality of the work was excellent.

Their crew was careful and maintained a high level of quality for all aspects of the job. Highly recommended and would definitely have them do more work if I need it in the future. Everyone I spoke with in person and on the phone were very helpful.

After cutting down a large dying tree in our yard, we decided to fix up our yard, which started with replacing a 30 year old chainlinked fence. I reached out in December to take advantage of the slower winter season. Artistic fence had competitive prices, and our salesman Walt meticulously oversaw the entire process. They installed our beautiful new wooden fence in January, despite the cold. The fence looks fantastic, and I highly recommend Artistic fence for their service and craftsmanship!

Pleased with initial selections and installation but subsequent service has been highly shaky. I put past experiences behind me (I will edit to detail those next time I get a minute) and tried to start fresh because gate hinge failed recently, leaving the heavy gate inoperable and actually dangerous because only partially attached. So I asked for an estimate to replace the two hinges on that gate door. Was asked to send photos, no estimate ever followed.

I followed up with emails, no reply. Many months later I tried again. Was asked to send photos. This time someone did come out to assess and give quote. Received a quote of $475 to replace two hinges. Doesn't that seem a bit ridiculous? I mean, why did the hinges fail to begin with? Looking at them, it seems clear they just couldn't support the weight of the gate after 15 years, but shouldn't they have been able to? and now in order to be able to close and lock the gate -- the whole purpose of HAVING the gate to begin with -- it's $475?

I am getting the impression from other reviews and from my own experiences that it's not worth it to this company to provide great followup service. Make the big sale and move on, I guess.

Wonderful experience. Went over all the work to be done with Armando. He repaired the 2 gates and replaced a bent pole. They replaces needed chain link and put in the privacy slats. I needed to repair the fence gates installed about 15 years ago and then one section of the fence needed to be replaced at a later time. It was very smooth experience from the first call to the job complete. Awesome people to deal with.

Salesperson responded to my first email. When I responded back I got no return info. I wrote again, then she responded, came and gave me an estimate and said she'd drop a contract. Contract never dropped so I called, she said she'd mail it (she got busy but never called or wrote). She never sent it. Wish I hadn't waisted 2 months trying to work with them.

Really odd experience. They sent someone out to my property to survey the area and share some options. The guy couldn't be more respectful, professional and knowledgable. He mentioned he would get back to me with some options and costs within a few days. A week went by and I didnt hear anything so I called to follow up and left a nice voicemail just looking for an update.

Never heard back. I work in sales so I totally understand times you get overwhelmed (its a good thing to be busy) but that being said, it seems odd to take the time to come to someones property, collect the necessary information, and just never follow up. Its been about 6-7 weeks and I never heard back.

The woman came to our house and measured and we discussed the type of fence we wanted. A quote was given fairly quickly but we had a change of heart and changed to aluminum fence. Left her voice mails and texts and never heard from her again. Guess they don't need the business and it was not a small job!

I just had a black chain link fence installed to my backyard and I am beyond pleased. The guys were professional, neat and did amazing work! As well as super courteous. They do have their own process with scheduling like other comments added, but it's worth the wait and they havent run off with your deposit. I had gotten a few estimates and I'm really glad I went with Artistic Fence. It really looks beautiful!

They came out to my property to give an estimate to replace the fence in my backyard and front of the house. After not hearing back from them for a month with the quote i called and was told i would get the quote soon. Waited one more week, still no quote. Called again and was told it would be sent over that day, still nothing. From what the other reviewers say, it seems like they don't value new business.

That is the sense i got from the guy that came by to do my estimate. Plus 6 weeks later and no quote. I guess I'll be passing on these guys and won't recommend them to anyone either.

Their installation of two fences on my NJ property was one of those rare situations in life where the end result is better looking than expected and much less expensive. I was concerned that the vinyl material would look cheap, but it is anything but.

They will only do work if the job is big enough. They came out to give us an estimate on repairing a fence they put in years ago--I took the day off form work to be here. Promised estimate would be emailed. After a week of silence, I called and was told that Chris would email the estimate since the woman who answered the phone couldn't see the estimate in her system. Promised me it would be emailed.

That was weeks ago. I'm done. Heard from others that Artistic Fence only cares if the job is big enough. So now they won't get my business or my neighbor's -- which IS a big job.

I used Artistic Fence to install my vinyl fence and gate. They were expensive but I was happy with my initial installation and the fence came with a warranty. A few years went by and my gate started to rust and fall apart. I called them about it since it was guaranteed and was told that the company who made my fence and gate had gone out of business.

They told me they would check it out to see what they could do but no one came ever came by. I checked back in with them and finally after many calls someone eventually came out. They told me they couldn't match the gate since it was no longer made and they couldn't fix it unless I wanted to pay for it and even then they wouldn't guarantee the work or that it would look good.

For what I paid, the product should be guaranteed as it's what Artistic Fence was recommending to me the customer. If they aren't willing to fix or replace the products they recommend, then I can't recommend them.

Artistic Fence removed the rusty old fence along the side of our back yard and installed a beautiful black aluminum fence early this spring. Walt worked with us to figure out a layout that would allow us to install a gate across our driveway, to enclose the backyard for our dog. He happily came out to the house for a second consultation after we changed our mind about the layout.

The removal and installation was all done in one day. I would have taken off one star for the fact that a few rusty pieces of old fence were left behind on our driveway, but the service after the fence install was complete was incredible. A tree fell on my neighbors property last week and cracked one of the fence post caps. Walt dropped off a replacement cap, free of charge, the day after I called. We are happy with the product and the service and would definitely recommend them.

Showed up to do an estimate, never sent over the quote, waited 2 weeks and the quote was about $1k over the local guys. just because they sent out a quote and never contacted us at all shows they are busy but don't care about new clients. pass

I have been using artistic fence for many years on many properties. I would never go anywhere else because their workmanship, customer service and pricing is unequaled by any other fence company. Steve, the owner, really follows up and makes sure every detail is attended to. The installers are polite and efficient and my homes are completely fenced in to keep my pets safe and my property visually enhanced. Kudos to this company!

Artistic Fence did a fantastic job on the fence they installed in our yard. Chris, the sales guy, was great from start to finish and got us our estimate in 24 hours with a very reasonable price. I had gotten 4 estimates and Artistic was the best. They came to install the fence even earlier than they had said and the guys that installed the fence did a great job. We hired Artistic Fence to replace the gate in front the dumpster in our condo parking lot. They set up an appointment to give us an estimate, which they confirmed and showed up on time for. The guy came by, looked at the gate, made suggestions about repairing the wood slats and straightening the posts rather than completely replacing everything. He sent me a written estimate the next day and we set a date to begin work.

The workmen arrived on time, were polite and went over the work they would do immediately, what they planned to do back at their workshop and when the gate would be rehung. They finished the work on schedule, although they had to replace some broken screws and painted it to match the rest of the fence.all without adding a penny. I highly recommend this company and wish all home repair people were such a pleasure to work with.

We talked to 3 contractors about putting a fence on one part of our yard to match the new one our neighbors installed. Artistic was the least expensive of the three. They came quickly to install it (within a week) and installed a beautiful high quality fence. When they installed it, there was not a chair rail on it. My invoice never said to put a chair rail on but i had asked them to match my neightbors and their fence has a chair rail. I called Artistic afterward and they came back and installed it for free. Would highly recommend them. They do a great high quality job.
