Hayes Cabinets

Received a recommendation from a friend. Initially things seemed great. "Star" the salesperson seemed very engaged and was very knowledgeable. Several months later I had to chase after her to obtain a bid. We then received a bid of almost 70,000.00 for cabinets for a relatively small kitchen, with the cheaper construction to boot. Based on the ridiculous bid we received we made a few changes but those were never finalized. We just totally gave up and are walking away. This was a complete waste of our time and I do not recommend Hayes based on my experience.

We just can't say enough good things about Hayes Cabinets. I can only say that if you have anyone else design and manufacture your cabinets for you.you've probably made a mistake. Andy Mohr is both an artist and a wizard. He came to our home, we discussed what we were looking to accomplish. A couple days later.his designs showed up. His answers to our needs were better than we could have hoped to imagine. Superb concept.

Creative design. Flawless production. Damon and his crew arrived to install.again excellent. VERY focused on details in a job where details are EVERYTHING.Superb install and finish details. We had heard a lot about Hayes and, frankly went into it with high expectations. Everyone at Hayes completely EXCEEDED our (high) expectations.by a substantial margin. Again, just can't say enough positive things about Andy, Damon and the people at Hayes. THESE people are cabinet artists.

Hayes builds a product that is second to no-one if your looking to remodel your kitchen with fine cabinets you need not look anyplace else. The hand crafted products they build are beautiful and you can feel good keeping your money local in our community. I am an architect and a general contractor. I have worked with Hayes Cabinets on several projects. Some projects are spec houses (built for sale without a client) and also projects for clients. As an architect I enjoy working with Hayes Cabinets because they work well with my design ideas, and yet I don't have to sweat the details. They know exactly what to do, and if they can't do it, they say so.

We can work back and forth until we get things just right. As a general contractor, I appreciate the build quality, the service, and the price. As I tell my clients, you can always find a cheaper cabinet, but the value of a Hayes cabinet can't be beat. And when it comes to the actual installation, I couldn't ask for more talented and professional craftspeople.

Due to the recommendation of a neighbor, we picked Hayes cabinets to remodel our kitchen. Did we hit a home run! Dave was very informative at the showroom, came to our home for the measurements, and gave a professional bid for our review. Upon acceptance, they began the procedure within our time frames (getting close to the holidays). Jeff Richards was the installer, who did a fabulous job! I am an interior designer, and have had the opportunity to work with Hayes Cabinets on several projects. Of these projects, some have been modest remodeling projects, others have been extensive custom cabinetry work that is "outside the box". In all cases, they were excellent to work with for both myself, the contractor, and the client. I find them gracious, knowledgeable, collaborative and an overall great asset to work. We have lots of choices in the area for cabinetry - and their team is frequently our first call for projects.

I had the pleasure to work with Hayes Cabinets on a very unique kitchen project. With some one of a kind (never done before) applications, it requiring great attention to detail and collaborative creative problem solving. From a personalized shop tour with my clients to cabinet detail meetings and job site communication, David at Hayes Cabinets was great to work with.

Some items that needed correcting on this complex job were done efficiently and professionally. The cabinet finish was beautiful. No project is without a challenge (especially those done without a cookie cutter) but that's the value of experience, professionalism and good communication. As a CMKBD (Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer), working in the Portland area for 25 years, a big thank you for helping create one of my favorite projects ever.

My husband and I remodeled our kitchen in 2005. The installation of our beautiful Hayes Cabinets was the only part of the remodel that was on schedule. I can tell anyone who hasn't remodeled, that with using the wrong builder there are many issues and delays. Hayes Cabinets was the only subcontractor on the project that was on time and did the work in a very timely manner. I love my new kitchen. I give credit to the sales staff, the layout team and the manufacturing team to the installers, all top knotch craftsmanship. Very professional.

Hayes Cabinets has been working with me for about 15 years on new homes and remodeled homes valued from $100,000 to $600,000. Their product and service has always been excellent. The knowledge and advice from my Sales Rep, David Halstead has always been right on the mark as well. There are two features I like most about Hayes. One is that they finish their own custom constructed cabinets, so the finish is always perfect. Secondly their installers do an excellent job installing the cabinets and work well with the other trades that they must interact with like plumbers and tile setters.
