We recently hired Knez to add insulation to our 2 story house. The estimate was presented within a few days and the work was scheduled. They arrived on time and were very professional but somehow our small bathroom ceiling was damaged. Not a huge deal, accidents happen. We tried for a week and a half to deal with the foreman who had referred us on to their sheet rock repair person.

When I continually updated the foreman with the fact I wasn't getting any response by their repair person to get it repaired he would just tell me he'd have him call me. Very frustrated I finally contacted the Tigard office and spoke with Chris. She was immediately very understanding and asked me to call Lacey who was in charge of the insulation work & Chris provided me her tele #.

I called Lacey and she listened as I aired my frustration. She apologized and said it would be taken care of immediately. Talking to Lacey was like a breath of fresh air. Professional, apologetic & assuring. My ceiling was repaired within the week and it is beautiful. Lacey even called me back to make sure I was happy. I will continue to recommend Knez. Any company can have a mishap but when they resolve it quickly like Lacey did I would not hesitate to hire them again. Thank you Lacey!

Hired these guys to help out with a project they did not even know the code for the right insulation on our building and then filed a lien on our property when we refused to pay them after a failed inspection. We then called the manufacturers of the spray foam and they told us that Knez's spray foam that was installed, does not need 2hr fire code safety assembly.

Watch out for these guys these guys they are unethical we are in the middle of filing a complaint with the CCB and then will pursue legal action. Watch out for Bart Stageberg he is the one who talked us into purchasing the spray foam instead of regular insulation. He has no idea what he's doing, lies about it and is very disorganized. We had to tear out all of the insulation in most of the walls and the entire ceiling. 1700 sq ft worth. I'll be adding pictures as proof as well.

Their attorney is in my opinion one of the worst people to ever walk the face of the earth. If your looking for a rude, belligerent, jerk to work for you I would give Mark O Cottle a call.

The most rude, unprofessional accounting team I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

Well I had an appointment scheduled for 4:30 on 5/8 for an insulation quote that was scheduled for a little over a week. 30 min before the appt I received a phone call saying "my boss won't let me leave the office until 5:15" I told him it wouldn't work and 4:30 tomorrow (5/9) would be better. He agreed and we set up a new appt for 5/9 at 4:30.

Well yesterday rolls around and it's 4:50 so I call and my information was taken to receive a call back to inform me what was going on. Long story short no technician ever showed up, never received a phone call letting me know what was going on. Needless to say my time was wasted, and I'll never be calling them again for anything.

Knez did the under insulation and attic insulation on a side job for me. After inspecting their work I was impressed with what they did. There crew went above and beyond in doing it correctly.

I had my 12,000 sq ft warehouse insulated by KNEZ in February. I worked with Bart. I was originally quoted a price with a $.25 rebate from the Oregon energy trust. I was told I might need to insulate more of the building than I wanted to in order to receive the rebate. When the agreement was drawn up they itemized the energy trust rebate and it said I would NEED to insulate the extra 1700 sq ft in order to get the rebate, so it was worth it.

Half the rebate was to be "profit" and the ONLY reason we insulated the extra portion of the building. Fast forward a week after job completion. I send an email to Bart asking what we need to do to get the rebate. He tells me he will fill out the paperwork on Friday as he does paperwork on Fridays. two weeks later I cant get ahold of Bart. He won't call me back wont answer my emails.

So I call Liz at customer service and she tells me she will check on it and get back to me. Bart calls me back and tells me he will get it in by the end of the week. NOTHING! I waste more time trying to track him down and get nothing back AGAIN. I call Liz on 03/02/2016 she sounds irritated and tells me she'll check on it. She sends a message back saying she has contacted Bart and it will be processed "tomorrow".

Now we're almost in September. But I call from time to time and send Bart emails because it's fun to be ignored and lied to. I really am shocked at this company, I feel like they are getting ready to sell or something. THIS is how a 3rd generation, family run business, treats it's customers? When I realized Bart was a, say anything to get the sale, type of guy I started keeping track of my correspondence with this company.

If something isn't done immediately I will be taking them to small claims court. out of principal. I don't care if it cost more than the value of the rebate. I am shocked and I will get to the bottom of this. P.S. When the installers showed up the first thing they said to me was "how long did Bart tell you this would take us" in a round about broken English way, I say 5 to 7 days, he was very irritated looking and said it would be 12. and it was.

So I was not entirely surprised this happened which is why I started keeping track of who lied to me and when. I was willing to overlook this as I wasn't asked to pay extra for their faulty assessment (which the installer could tell was faulty in 5 minutes of being there, if he knew, why did Bart not know?) The thing that REALLY sucks is they had my business without lying to me, their track record had me sold. so this is REALLY lousy.
