Allegheny Fence was founded by Alfred Nayhouse in 1955. Al was involved in fencing since 1935 where he worked at US Steel installing fence around the Eastern United States. In 1980, his son Jeff joined his father in the day to day operations, followed by his son Craig. Craig has been the lead estimator for all industrial sales since 1987.
Joining Craig in the sales department are Paul Ballog and Kathy Moorcroft. We are centrally located just outside downtown Pittsburgh on Irvine Street (or Second Avenue). We have remained in this location throughout our history and continue to be family owned and operated.

Aluminum Fencing provides the conventional beauty of wrought iron fence. Aluminum is maintenance free and is less costly than ornamental iron fence. An aluminum fence is the perfect choice to surround your pool. The aluminum construction eliminates rust, and the advanced finishes currently in use withstand the moisture and chemicals associated with surrounding a pool.
Chain Link
Report
Allegheny Fence offers a large variety of chain link fencing products and installation. When shopping for your fencing needs, be sure that when you compare prices you are comparing the same quality of products. There are several gauges (thickness) of wire as well as different thickness of posts and framework. The higher the gauge number, the thinner the wire.
Wood
Report
Allegheny Fence offers a variety of wood fences for every purpose. Our most popular wood fence is custom built treated or red cedar wood fence. The style of a custom built fence varies by individual taste. It can be as simple a a basic picket fence or as decretive as a shadowbox style with elaborate finials and a scalloped top. Most of our installations are custom built.

We used Allegheny Fence Company to install a fence around our yard perimeter. They did an excellent job on the project except for an issue with our gates. We voiced our concerns and came to a fair compromise and they addressed our concerns. Very professional business that cares about the customer experience. Highly recommend! Sean Welsch came out to measure for new fence. He was very professional and patient with some of the changes we made regarding the fence. Brandon and co-worker did an excellent job installing fence from start to finish. The fence looks great. Also, the cost was reasonable. I would call Allegheny Fence again if need be.

Awesome crew, very nice guys and ask our opinion on every step of the build out.and did such a nice job in such a small period of time. I'm posting this before they even finish the other gate. The wood took forever due to covid but as soon as they received materials the fence went up a few days later. We couldn't be more satisfied with the work they have done! Great job guys!

On a daily basis this company sacrifices the safety of its employees and citizens driving in front of it by loading its trucks in the middle of the road. They also continually drive fork lifts into oncoming traffic. Simple solutions for the owner would be to throw out some of the junk around your building so your employees can load their trucks appropriately. Easiest solution would be to buy a set of orange cones to use like any sane person. Pathetic excuse for a company.

I am in shock at the way I was treated by this company. They came highly recommended to me but proved to have no communication skills or common sense. I was yelled at several times by employees and mangers when trying to fix a mistake they had made. They showed up to an empty site unannounced, and when no one was there became hostile and down right rude. When trying to fix the situation the hostility grew. Unfortunately I paid the deposit and am now dependent on this company to do the work.
