I live in MT. Desperate for honesty from a professional, I called Straight Shooter located across state lines due to their high customer review rating. Steve did a tele-assessment and sent his crew out next day. That crew, Brandt and Nick, worked tirelessly into the night to fix all the shoddy work that had been done by other plumbing crews. Though I am far away and must pay a travel fee, I am reluctant to even consider another plumber ever again. For those of you in my area (Sanders County, Montana), consider this crew. They are worth every penny!

Steve was terrific. I had two leaks right around/underneath two different water heaters and from all appearances to the untrained eye it was the water heaters leaking. He diagnosed the problems and it had nothing to do with the water heater.or even my plumbing. One was the HVAC and the other was the outdoor sprinkler leaking into the basement. Straight Shooter Plumbing and Rooter is definitely my plumber of choice.

I haven't had the chance to use their services, however, next time or anytime I or anyone I know needs a plumber straight shooter will be who I call. I called because I thought I had what was a clogged drain. Steve suggested that it may be a full septic and suggested I call a septic company so as to not spin my wheels and pain for a plumber who may not fix the problem.

He then went so far as to find a septic company that has openings. He was an awesome guy and I can't wait to use their services. Thank you so much straight shooter, plumbing!

Moved a well filter from under my house to the side of it so that I didn't have to crawl under the house (with all the spiders) anymore. NIck was a super friendly guy and did a first rate job even though there was a few problems dealing with old piping to fit with new piping. I couldn't be happier with the job performed that day. These guys charge less than half the competition does to come out and repair my water heater. Turns out the whole unit needed to be replaced and only had a larger size available! They were able to replace the unit custom to the small space. Ask for Nick he knows his craft.

Steve was very expeditious, upbeat, & professional. We've been without a washing machine for almost 2 weeks. The new one arrived today & the delivery guys refused to bring it in the house because our water valve was corroded. I contacted Steve, he came right over & replaced them for us. Quick version: Steve and Straight Shooter Plumbing were responsive, thorough, professional and so knowledgeable. We were able to witness this in both an emergency situation and in a later repair visit. We have officially found our family plumber! : ---------- We found Steve and Straight Shooter Plumbing when our back was against a wall with a leak/small flood one morning.

Our usual local plumbing company couldn't get out for an extended period of time and time was of the essence. After a quick call explaining our situation, Steve not only made it out quickly, but helped us get a mitigation team deployed and kept up communication throughout the process. Post mitigation process we had Steve and Nick back out to fix a few issues that had been uncovered and they did an incredible job.

They were communicative, conscientious, honest and thorough. This uniquely quirky house gave them a challenge and they were able to remove a disgusting RO system, repipe under our sink and solve a couple other issues. Give them a call!

Prompt and professional service, even on a Saturday. I called at 7:45 a.m. on a Sat morning, expecting to leave voicemail and hope for a call back on Monday regarding a leak under my kitchen sink. Nope. Steve answered, said he had an appointment but he'd drop by on his way to diagnose. He arrived ~30 minutes later, looked at the issue and immediately fixed it.

The p trap had come loose, he tightened it and **voila** no more leak. To top it all off, I anticipated a $40-$50 service call for his effort, but he didn't charge me. I'll call Straight Shooter Plumbing in a heartbeat, no question, to help with any future plumbing problems I encounter.

Steve and Dave were excellent to work with. We discovered a leak early one morning and they came within 10 minutes. They located the problem very quickly, explained everything so we could understand, and replaced the broken pipe. They also gave helpful information for further water damage repair. It's a horrible problem to be dealing with, but they made their portion of the process as simple and painless as possible for us. We're so glad we called them and would call again about any future problems for sure.

I contacted Steve at Straight Shooter plumbing to repair a leaky faucet over my bathtub. He answered the phone himself and gave me an approximate estimate of cost for this type of job.
