We just had the exterior of our house painted after replacing the roof top. Ray is friendly, professional and easy to communicate. His team of three workers provided a thorough and detail-oriented job with regards to caulking, sanding and two-layer of paintings. The preparation work before painting started actually took quite some time in order to get things right. The final result is impressive and commendable. We would not hesitate to recommend Ray and his company to anyone who needs a painting job.

Proactive Painting painted the exterior of house. It was an awesome experience for us. Ray has an eye for details and takes pride in his work. The prep work was impressive, patching, caulking, and installing new vents. After sanding and painting our old doors, they looked brand new. Communication with Ray was excellent. He responded quickly to text messages and kept us apprised to the process and the time frame.
He even sent a text when he was going be 15 minutes delayed. They respected our property and totally cleaned up each day. No mess! We are thrilled with how the project went and how beautiful our house looks. I highly recommend Proactive Painting! We will be using them again for interior work.

Working with Proactive Painters was an absolute dream. From my very first interaction (requesting a consultation), everything was marked by thoughtful, responsive professionalism. Ray was detailed during the estimate - our house is old, was decades overdue for repainting, and needed a lot of prep. Ray told me exactly what he could and couldn't do, and explained why.
He told me what his contingency plans would be in case there was wood rot (and, when those plans had to be put into action, he personally made sure everything went smoothly). It was clear that Ray takes immense pride in his work, and views every job as a privilege. When it was time for work to begin, Ray would text each evening letting me know the names of the people coming tomorrow and what time they would arrive.
The crew was on time every day, were friendly, hardworking, and took care with our plants and fish pond. The paint itself looks incredible. The lines between trim and body are sharp; there is no overspray anywhere. While doing a final walkthrough, the foreman fixed areas that we hadn't even noticed. While Proactive Painters charged a little more than other painters I received estimates from, the extra money was more than worth it.
This is the first time a home improvement project has been a truly pleasant experience for me. The quality of work is fantastic, and the clear communication and care for customers sets Ray and his team a class above the competition.

Ray and his team were professional, courteous and a joy to work with from start to finish. Ray provided a quote early on, showed us options for paints and stains and did a beautiful job on both the inside and outside of our house. They went above and beyond and I can't recommend them enough. We would definitely choose to work with them again.

Proactive Painting did a great job! David who is main guy I work with is calm and patient. They have a hardworking group of awesome painters with great attitude. They are all meticulous about their work. David does great planning and he showed great flexibility during the project. He also was very particular about making sure all work is done to our satisfaction and even his.
They are very careful about taking care of the walls, flooring and furniture which is super important for me. I think this was a big project, and they executed really well. The owner of the company, Ray also has great attitude. I would recommend this company anytime if you need professional painting and like to work with people who have a great attitude.

I have used proactive painting on two homes with a great experience both times. They also stained my fence to match my house and it turned out great. I had a very good experience with Ray and his team. Ray painted my garage and put in epoxy floor. He also patched and painted multiple holes in dry walls for me. Both Ray and his team were diligent and all the work was very high quality. Pricing wise Proactive Painting was also quite competitive. I would definitely consider them again for new jobs.

To begin moving into a newly purchased condo I needed to replace the carpet and have the living room and bedroom painted. The painting to happen first was my goal and I was also under a time crunch. Luckily, I found Proactive Painting. I met with Raymond the day after a call for an estimate and two days later Dave started painting.
