Highly recommend Ron. We asked for a kitchen with two islands and it was not easy. He's very knowledgeable about what will work where, and what materials will work best. He kept us up to date on the progress of my kitchen and explained the process. We also installed a big pantry that runs along the wall of the islands and it turned out amazing. Five stars!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our experience was superb, from start to finish. We chose Zen Living for our home remodelling project, and we could not be happier with the results. Their team was professional, well educated on their product, and the result is stunning. There was seamless communication - every time we had a question, there was someone ready to help us.
We loved the flexibility they offered with their manufacturing selection. We chose to have our product made overseas, and was able to save quite a bit so we can focus on landscaping this year. I got a full kitchen with Zen and couldn't be happier. The entire process from design to installation and finishing went smoothly. They were very careful bringing everything in and setting it up. I had a lovely interaction with John. He was always there with suggestions and creative input to make sure our final layout and design were perfect. Our kitchen was 23 years young and it was time for a remodel. We searched many options and places in Calgary and then visited Zen Living / Cabinet Express. Jason greeted us the first time we walked in the door and was more welcoming and knowledgeable than anywhere else we had researched. A month later we went back and he remembered us! We had our initial plans which he took and had professionally designed.
We met again, he reviewed everything and was so helpful! We ordered our cabinets and countertops. Delivery was quick and efficient. Cannot put into words how great this experience was and it was thanks to Jason. He kept us updated during the whole process. We would highly recommend both him and this company!

When we moved to our new townhouse we were short of storage space for my bedding and towels, so we had Zen Living build us cabinets. They turned out beautiful, the color and hardware matched the rest of the ones we had. All the staff were excellent to work with. The gentleman that did the installing did an excellent job also. I have visited their facility and it is one of the most organized and structured cabinet companies I have ever seen. Their finishes can only be compared to furniture quality. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality and craftsmanship you get and the selection/ choices are endless. Top Notch!

My new kitchen is amazing. I spent months going back and forth with the designer. Making certain every detail was just right. We revised the blue prints many time. My kitchen was installed last week and we are just starting to settle in to a new routine in a new space. It took some time but I feel a tremendous sense of achievement. Thanks to the entire Zen team.

Last year the Calgary Buddhist Temple did a complete renovation of its 100 year old building in Bridgeland. There were a lot of issues on site, including foundation walls that were not straight, delays in construction, and problems with the main contractor. Zen Living came in to do the cabinets in the two kitchen areas, in the upstairs classroom, and the bathrooms.
We cannot say enough good things about how great Zen was. They were so helpful from start to finish and did a fantastic job. All the cabinets look wonderful; it's so good to have so much well organized space. Zen dealt with the foundation wall problems; there is no indication that the kitchen wall is several inches different in depth! Zen also dealt very well with the problems caused by the general contractor and delays on site. We are now working with Zen to install some additional small cabinets to create a columbarium.

We just finished building our 3000 sf new house in inner city. We visited 3 different shops for cabinetry/counter top and we selected Zen Living at the end. Our experience with Zen Living is all positive and I highly recommend it for the following reasons: Selection - they have the best selections. Just in the show room there are over 100 samples. Was told I can see more if I wanted.
They have a very clean pleasant show room. I was also invited to their factory to take peek at the operations. Very organized. Price - unbeatable. I got quotes from other shops and they were much higher. However, in order to receive discounted prices from Zen Living you must allow at least 10 weeks or more for your order. Experience - the sale manager has lots of experience in their products and even the design.
He knows what products are the best for different styles of build. We showed him the floor plan and explain our "taste" and he quickly narrowed down to 4 samples. With the help of other staff (including the owner I think), we further narrowed down to 2 and it was just between colors. Their staff have lots of patience and never pushy. Follow up service - Amazing!
They came back 5-6 times just to finish the final touch ups such as adjusting to hinges, color repair and adding a trim on the side plus other little stuff that my builder noticed. All at no extra costs. There was one panel with minor damaged but they replaced the whole panel instead of repair it. I thought once you paid the suppliers you will never see them again but not for Zen Living. They do honor their deal. I am impressed.
