In the area of HVAC and Energy businesses, we have seen first hand that not all companies are trustworthy and truly deliver on their promise of energy efficiency. This company was fantastic and made us feel instantly at ease. As many have noted, James was wonderful. He took us around our home and showed us the areas of concern, but what was great was that he was not trying to sell us on added services we didn't need.

Quite the opposite. Once we signed up to have our attic sealed and reinsulated, his crew was right on time, worked hard and was very respectful of our home. We immediately noticed that our air conditioner was suddenly not working as hard. Fair price, great workmanship and totally trustworthy. Go with these guys!

James Moore was wonderful to work with. He came out inspected the ducts. registers and connections. showing us where we were losing efficiency. He provided the options we asked for. and the installation crew was professional.thorough. and very neat and clean. They also installed R19 insulation on the drop ceiling tiles in the showroom. I would recommend James and Apple Blossom for any commercial building.

I had James from Apple Blossom Energy come to my home for a survey because the bedrooms in the front of the house always get warm. He found the insulation was never blown in properly in areas of the attic. Especially the front bedrooms. He was very good on explaining how they would take care of the issues When they arrived at the house to do the job.

They were very professional and informative thru the whole process. They even emailed before and after pictures. I am already seeing the benefits since the job was completed. I highly recommend. I had previously contacted someone on line. He came in an unmarked truck with not even a business card or any references. He wanted half of the money up front.

I felt so uncomfortable that I tried to find him through a professional designation that he claimed. His name was not there, but there was Apple Blossom. I found that they had an A rating with the BBB, along with other designations. Get an energy inspection. I am happy that I did.

James is always quick to respond when needed. Your crew did an excellent job of removing the old and spraying in the new insulation. We couldn't be happier!

I had bought Angie's deal for evaluation in 2013 and received a quote for the above work, but was unable to have it done at that time. Called James Moore again Jan 2015, he rechecked the house and gave a new quote, work was arranged for 2-13-15. He and 2 workers arrived promptly at 9am and worked until 4 pm. Cleaned up all areas they could. They could not work on all the popcorn stuff that had fallen off the ceiling, as they went completely throughout the attic.

Everything seems to be as expected, now waiting to check energy bills for improvements. Hard to tell what that will be, since we got a new furnace and AC Nov 2014. Definitely less air whistling in. Also, the Duke Energy rebate was received 3 weeks after work was done!

I have been looking for a good company to do our insulation. I have found it in Apple Blossom Energy. We are a small remodeling company focusing on older homes and Apple Blossom has solved our ongoing issues with finding a very good and knowledgeable insulation contractor. Densepack cellulose is the best and safest insulation for old homes and this company did a fantastic job with installation, follow up and pricing.

I could not have been happier. They passed inspection on the first shot, came when they said they would and finished promptly. As far as I am concerned, there is no other insulation company in the Piedmont.

Arrived ten minutes later than specific appointment time but had called to notify of delay. Neat and clean. Very honest- did not try to sell things not needed. Explained alternative insulations in thorough manner. A good price for a qualified review of a portion of the home often ignored until leaks or other issues occur.

Went well. They arrived about 9am and left by 4pm. The work has made a huge difference, especially upstairs.

He was very thorough and professional. He made some good recommendations but I am not able to afford the work right now. Hope to spray foam insulation on the underside of our attic roof in the next couple of years. I did not realize that this was an option.

He was very thorough. Part of the Big Deal, according to the printout, was supposed to be an installation of insulation on the access covers to the attic. Scott didn't know anything about that and apologized for the confusion. I wasn't confused. Apparently, whoever made up this deal over--offered for the 49.00. So, it wasn't done, but on the proposal for the work to be done he included the access insulation at no charge.

I will call them to do the work when I'm ready. He seems to know what he's talking about and he sent the specs of the recommended insulation to my husband as requested. He came, he inspected, he told us what we should do; he followed up with a proposal for work to be done.

I spoke with two company representatives to 1. to acknowledge the purchase of the deal and 2. to schedule the inspection at my house. Once the day of the inspection came and went, I noticed shortly thereafter that my purchase was credited back to my card. I never was informed as to why the appointment was cancelled.

We recently bought a new house and noticed that it was difficult to cool the upstairs on hot and sunny days, so I had Apple Blossom come out to offer some solutions. The man arrived on time and was cordial and professional. He briefly examined the attic and made some recommendations. In the end, we did not go forward with his advice, because after a few weeks in the new house it became clear what the true problem was, and it was not the attic, but some knee walls in the bonus room above the garage.

This was not entirely his fault, because I did not ask him to examine that room, but at the same time he did not spend very much time on his investigation, especially since it was a paid energy audit service (not a free estimate). He was in and out in about 10 minutes tops, and so did not truly discover the root of the problem. That being said, they were a professional operation and I would probably turn to them again if/when I needed work done.

We have used AppleBlossum several times in the past couple of years and have been extremely satisfied with their work and professionalism. We will continue to use them in the future. PuroClean Disaster First Response
