When a light fixture separated from an ancient ceiling fan in my 122-year-old office with boulders for walls, I wasn't sure what an electrician would find. Buckingham Electric sent Jason Ingram. He came when he said he would (even though he wasn't sure what he was getting into), got right to work, and fixed the problem. He even brought light bulbs! I put Buckingham Electric on the company speed-dial.

My wife and I had an emergency: our well pump was not working and the plumber said the problem was a bad buried electric line from the house to the pump. I did not have a regular electrician so the plumber recommended Buckingham. From the person who set up the service to the two young men who did it, everyone was great. Their prices were fair. I definitely will use them for any future needs.

I was able to schedule the work within a couple days of my phone call to the company. The servicemen were running early. They called and asked if they could come by earlier than scheduled, which worked out well. They research the model of the new wall oven to assure correct junction box location. The job was done quickly, and they cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be happier with their service!

Buckingham Electric sent two electricians to do several small repair and renovation jobs for my 1971 house. Jason contacted me by phone to meet for an estimate, and appointment he kept on time. He listened attentively to what I needed, asked good questions to that helped clarify what he was to do and how it would be done. We set up a time for the work to be done and they arrived and got right to work.
I was impressed with how careful they were to work with minimal disruption and dust. They explained what they were doing as they went along, they presented meaningful options when those were available. I observed first-hand that all work was consistently done to a quality standard. I work in the home building industry in FL so I'm generally prepared to be irritated, but not here! I have a 2nd home here in Black Mountain, NC. It went well. They were very friendly, quick response time, called when they were on the way and fixed the issue quickly. They also cleaned up after themselves which I really liked. Like they had a hand vac and everything. Price was high, just for a service call they charged $150. Then they charged like $5 to change the switches. So I basically paid $150 for two $2.50 switches that I could've changed myself. I felt like their work was trustworthy and done correctly. However, I'm dinging them a bit for the high service call fee. Everything else was good.
