Hoffman Plumbing was founded in 1967 by Harold Hoffman specializing primarily in new construction plumbing services. In 2014 Joe Ortiz moved his family from Arizona and purchased Hoffman Plumbing. Mr. Ortiz is proud to continue the tradition of high quality service that Harold Hoffman had instilled in this company and that Northern Nevadans have become accustomed to over the last 50 years.Today, Hoffman Plumbing is experienced in all facets of plumbing to cover all your residential and commercial plumbing needs. Dealing with a clogged or leaking toilet? The staff at Hoffman Plumbing made a stressful experience (who doesn't need hot water?) so much less stressful! Of course the water heater needs replacing on Christmas Eve! Of course there's a water leak at our son's home ON THE SAME DAY! My call for help was returned even before I could finish leaving a message, and less than an hour later we received a call to schedule our replacement.
The gentleman who came to do the work was personable, knowledgeable and professional - we couldn't ask for more. Our son's experience was just as positive as ours - two endorsements from two households in the same family on Christmas Eve - what could be better?

I looked for a better alternative to Roto- rooters, which I had used before and became very expensive. Huffman and Plumbing had good reviews so I decided to try this Company. I am very satisfied with the service I received, and will use them again. They charged me no extra fees, and I got the pipe unclogged. The personnel at the main office ( specially Lisa) were excellent as well.

Excellent service! I highly recommend this company! They came out on a Saturday and fixed a leaking pipe in my cement slab floor. They very carefully removed just a small amount of cement surrounding the downpipe and located the leak. Cut out and replaced the leaking section, and finished up in just a bit over two hours. Great work, and reasonable cost. Hoffman Plumbing is now my go-to company for any future plumbing needs!

We had Jesse out to replace a shower valve. He came, he plumbed, and he left. On time. Neat and tidy work. Efficient. Pleasant and a credit to his company. Making the appointment was also a good experience although the date was a bit distant. Fortunately it wasn't an emergency. If it was, I'm guessing they would have figured that out too. Happy to have found our go-to plumber.

I've used Hoffman several times, but they were especially good on this last one. We had a seemingly simple problem, a shower drain that we couldn't unclog. Roberto did a heavy snaking and thought he had nailed it, but the clog came back next day. They came straight back within hours and figured out the real problem was a bad trap under the house. They fixed that, charging only for additional parts. You couldn't ask for better service or fairer treatment.

Making an appointment was very easy and I got a call back quickly (most places don't ever call back). A couple days before the appointment they sent out a reminder (always a plus). On the day of the appointment the plumber called and said he could be early and if it was OK for him to do so (yes please). He arrived right at the time he said he would and was friendly, did the repairs and even showed me how to do it to avoid a call out in the future (turned out to be a real simple process with my toilet model to fix leaky water tanks). Fast, professional and cared about saving me money in the future. I'll be using them again whenever needed - such a smooth process compared to previous plumbers I've used.

This is the 2nd time I used Hoffman Plumbing and again they did not disappoint! Roberto Rodriguez came out to work on my clean out! Excellent job! The first time Hoffman plumbing came out was to install a new water heater Joe and his young apprentice did the work. Both times all staff were extremely professional, efficient and effective! Lisa scheduled the work this time and made sure it could be scheduled immediately just like the first time I used Hoffman plumbing! I highly recommend this company as they show genuine caring for their customers!

Hoffman Plumbing did a great job. Fortunately, they ran a camera to find a root blockage rather than simply running a snake which would end up with the problem occurring again in another year or so. They also did a nice job of installing a couple of toilets in our cabin with its old plumbing. Everything was done in a courteous and clean manner.

Service was exceptional! I did not expect them to get back to me at 9 pm on a weeknight when I submitted my request through Yelp...I had a response in 5 minutes, telling me how to shut my water off and assuring me someone would be at my home at 7 am. This was followed up by a phone call in the morning and then Jesse showed up right on time. It was a much quicker fix than I had anticipated and the price did not hurt either. Look, no one WANTS to call a plumber. But when you have to, call Hoffman! They made it so easy and painless I will definitely be using them again and recommend to all.

Hoffman Plumbing sent someone to me the same day for an issue with a leak in the house. Jesse and his helper worked hard to figure out what was going on with our master shower. They were awesome in their explanations and in knowledge. In the end, then sent me a reasonable invoice to go with it. I will be calling Hoffman Plumbing again if I need any work again, and I will also be recommending their services.

Everyone at Hoffman plumbing is very professional. I called Joe on a Friday morning and got a response within 5 min. I needed to replace a hot water heater and he was at my house within an hour to give me a quote. He was able to fit me in the same day. Everyone at Hoffman plumbing was a pleasure to deal with. I decided to try grinding up about 2 dozen eggshells in my garbage disposal which immediately stopped up the drainage in my kitchen sinks. I knew the blockage was in the trap under my sinks so I was able to take apart and clean out the trap but I didn't have the strength to put it back into place. I called Hoffman and Joe stopped by on his way to another appointment, put the trap back into place, and didn't even charge me.
He was in and out in less than 5 minutes wishing me a Merry Christmas. I gave him a little thank you gift and told him how much I appreciated him taking the time to help me. What a great Christmas season experience. Thanks so much, Joe. I'll definitely be calling you when I have another plumbing problem.
