Best decision I ever made. Brent was fantastic, he completed an extensive and thorough inspection of the pool and pool equipment at a home I was purchasing. He spent more time then a general inspector spends on the whole house. He utilizes equipment to measure for leaks, he gets into the pool and does an physical and sight inspection on all the surfaces of the pool.
He provided a thorough written report with photos and video's of his inspection. What I really appreciated is that he explained what he found to me in person and in the report, including what it would it take to repair, as well as what to expect to pay. Brent also provided guidance on how to avoid being ripped-off or taken advantage by dishonest pool repair individuals. I would never guy a home with a pool without having Brent look at the pool first.

Gave Brent a call. He returned my call quickly and although he is very busy at the moment (understandably), he offered to walk me through my current issue over the phone. Because its a leak that needs to be addressed sooner vs later, he advised me on who would be qualified to do the job and what all is needed to get the job done correctly. His expert advise provided some insight so that I wont get blindsided or misguided by any other professional. I can see now why he has a loyal client base and is booked out for several weeks.

Brent is fantastic. We bought a house with a pool and had no idea where to start. Our home inspector recommended a pool inspection and I kept coming across Brent's name. I'm leaving a review simply based on their upfront customer service. I haven't actually used them yet. Many companies are so busy that they don't respond. However Brent replied back quickly, gave some honest thoughts and told me he was backed up. He even gave me a referral to a competitor in case I needed help sooner. Lastly his philosophy appears to be to fix the problem without spends tons of money if not necessary. Too many businesses don't respond, don't care or try to gouge people. Based on his quick and thoughtful response, I am likely to hire them at some point.

Just had our inspection done by A+ Pool Leak Detectives as we're buying a new property and were not sure what condition the pool really was in from a professional stand point. I called Brent after hearing from a repair person that I most likely had a leak. I didn't think that my pool had a leak since water loss occurred sporadically. Brent was very responsive in texts and over the phone. Unlike other pool service techs, he really listened to me, talked through the different issues, and was thoughtful on how to rule out other possibilities.

Excellent and professional service. We needed a pool report in a hurry and Brent was able to get the detailed inspection done very quickly. His report was thorough and included photos and short videos explaining everything he inspected. The house we are considering buying is older and we wanted to know about any potential problems we may have with the pool. After his inspection we feel much better. I had a very good experience for repairing my pool leak. Brent is friendly, professional, always reachable for questions before and after service. I noticed that the initial quote was higher than other companies, but for the time and efforts he made to do a complete inspection and repair was well worth it. My pool had an air leak that was sucking in a lot of air on the inlet side of the system. Brent was able to diagnose my problem within 15 minutes, and provided me with a solution that resolved my issue. First rate customer service and support. I hope I never have another leak issue, but if I do Brent will be the guy I call. Very highly recommended!

For numerous months our 9 year old pool was losing water. We had another leak detection company come to our house and pressure test the lines. After spending $2,500 chasing the leak(s) and them wanting another $1,500+ to rip out our decking, we decided to try a different company. We contacted Brent at A+ Pool Leak Detectives and we are glad we did. Brent was able to quickly determine our problem was not with the plumbing, but with numerous small cracks and holes in the mortar of the spa spillover.
He patched the problem areas and the pool has been holding water.

Brent diagnosed my hard to find leak over a period of two days. The first time he came the leak went away. He had me fill the pool, came back the next morning, and was able to find a 18 gallon per hour leak. Brent is very professional and you tell he knows what he is doing. I used to work in the auto industry and there is a difference between a mechanic and a technician. Brent reminds me of a technician.
He has high tech equipment that you can tell cost a lot, but that is what you need to correctly diagnose problems in any industry. He will be who I call from now on. Hopefully I won't have any more leaks.

I'm a puzzle solving, fix it yourself type and yet, my 31 year old pool was resisting my efforts to solve a suction side leak that was blowing so many bubbles through my return pipes that the pool sweep bag would fill up with air and rise to the surface. My pool service guy recommended I talk with Brent who had already solved multiple leak challenges with his other clients. Brent was knowledgable and genuinely helpful from the very beginning.
Over the phone he provided me multiple things to do that would further isolate the problem and possibly allow me to fix the leak myself. Unfortunately, the challenge persisted and I had Brent out to do the work. Per the other reviews for A+ Pool Leak Detectives, Brent is in the right line of work. I was not consulted about their "solution." A day or two later, I found that their "solution" solved nothing, as the pool continued to leak. Then I called Brent. He arrived with sophisticated leak detection equipment and was able to tell me with accuracy to the hundredth of a gallon per hour how much water the pool was losing at rest and under load.
He then determined the line which was leaking, then effected repair by utilizing an underwater epoxy. No need to bust through the concrete! The first attempt at repair still left a bit to be desired, but Brent wouldn't settle for anything but a perfect seal. The man worked tirelessly until we were sealed and back in business. All without afflicting any further damage!
This guy is a bulldog! He will work days, evenings and weekends to solve your leak and then continue to check up on you days and weeks later to make sure all is well. I cannot recommend A+ Pool Leak Detectives enough!
