Home & Cabin Buildings
Report
Unlike pole barn homes or traditional stick-built home construction, Morton Buildings utilizes a method known as post-frame construction. Post-frame is defined as an engineered wood-framed building or home that features large laminated columns instead of wood studs or poles. There are multiple advantages to this method of construction:
Clear-span Construction. Using this method we eliminate interior load-bearing walls.
The result is a truly open interior space for you to customize and finish based on your needs and design preferences. Energy Efficiency. We offer an exclusive Energy Performer® insulation package, which is ENERGY STAR® compliant and offers R-values that far exceed other traditional home insulation methods. Virtually Maintenance-Free Exterior. Using our exclusive Hi-Rib™ steel for your roofing or siding ensures nearly zero maintenance for years to come.
Unmatched Structural Warranty.
Experience a warranty like none other in the metal building home and metal cabin building industry. All Morton buildings are backed by the strongest, non-prorated, and non-pass through warranty.

Farm
Report
Since the value of our farm and agricultural building is really in its ability to protect the equipment stored inside, we ensure that every building component is researched and tested to provide superior overall building strength through all conditions. We also look for new innovations for your farm to increase productivity and efficiency, such as the raised-chord truss system, designed to accommodate the ever-increasing size of machinery; Morton’s Energy Performer® insulation system, which provides a comfortable environment to service equipment; and Morton’s exclusive AlumaSteel® sliding door locking system, which provides convenience and flexibility when accessing your building.

After taking bids, and examining prints of what companies had to offer, in the way of steel buildings, we decided to go with Morton Buildings, primarily because we appreciated the system of foundation work that they employed. Our experience, from beginning to end, was completely rewarding, and beyond satisfactory. Blake, our initial contact, was friendly, answered questions openly, and was never out of the loop, even though at one point, he was sequestered with Covid.
He always returned our calls promptly, and gave us concise, and open answers. The build crew was professional, and had our building up in twelve working days, with a bit of time off for Christmas, and New Years (yes, they worked in the snow and cold). Any reservations that we might have had about winter building, were put to work. Workers, also, were open to discussion, and kept us up on what was going on, along with the "why's and when's." When the building was up, and done, crews left the area neat and cleared of debris, except for the woodpile that we asked them to leave, for kindling in future campfires. Overall, we would use Morton Buildings again in a heartbeat.
Not the best price, but we factored that in when considering the quality of what we were attempting to build. Very, very satisfied with the results, and highly recommend this completely professional company.

I rarely write reviews but wanted to say how pleasant my experience was while having a building built by Morton Buildings. My wife and I met with Dennis at the Lexington Office to discuss our building project. He was very knowable and easy to talk to and answered all our questions. We decided on a building and a couple of weeks later we decided on a larger one. Dennis changed our order to a larger building.
Every step of the way a Morton person was very professional and courteous: starting with Daniel who did our grading, to Benny who inspected to site and oversaw the unloading of materials, to Donald who was over the actual building. The subcontractors were also first class from the company that poured our cement to the company that put up our garage doors. Anytime I had a question along the way Dennis always returned my call and answered my questions.
I have always heard that Morton Buildings were the best and I can tell from the quality why they have such a positive reputation. The people I dealt with made the whole experience even better.

Let me begin by saying that I am not the client, my husband is. The Covid-19 pandemic/quarantine has him locked down in another country. This alone has generated its own amount of distress and add to that the beginning of a new build, but I was wrong. Andrew P, Eric, Shane, Stephen and Kyle represented Morton Buildings, Inc. in a way that set the standard for all the other contractors I come in contact and/or do business with.
I tried to show my appreciation every day by preparing lunch for them! From the beginning to the 'almost' end (we're receiving a large amount of rain in our state and the concrete (final part) has to wait), the site has been set up in the most organized way. There were no tools laying around.ladders 'there' when they should have been 'there'.nails.scraps of metal, etc., could not to be found. (Every day I would video walk for my husband.) One thing that stands out and occurred when the trash container was delivered and it speaks to the professionalism of "the group": the trash company completely destroyed my mail box.and left without acknowledging it!
And when I called Andrew P. he acknowledged, immediately reassured me, and in one day I had a new mailbox, 2/4 and all! One day. And here's the thing.again, I am not the client! This truly was a sweat-free experience. And this does not mean that the end will be this way.or that and/or be void of challenges, but the process up until this point leaves me pleased.
