We hired Abalon Construction for a foundation leak/repair on our house foundation. Every aspect from the estimator, to the actual work, to the clean-up, was top drawer. The work was done with care, quality, and professionalism. The work crew of James and Isaiah were excellent; answered all our questions and concerns and were always friendly and professional throughout the entire process; from start to finish. My home had a previous foundation repair that was done by a different company and repaired from inside of the home. When the basement started leaking again in the same spot, and it turned out that this other company wouldn't honour the warranty, I was referred by a friend to Abalon to repair the problem. I have been extremely happy with the work from start to finish. Abalon has been very responsive when I have contacted them and their entire team has been very courteous and professional.

Most recently, Marco and August completed the work by filling in the sunken area with some really nice top soil. They took the utmost care in making the yard look nice, working carefully around my garden and planters, while also ensuring the yard sloped away from the house so that I can avoid this problem again in the future. Although I'm reassured that the problem is now completely resolved since, in addition to my foundation repair, they ensured that the weeping tile was cleared and functional. Additionally, I have the extra reassurance with having a lifetime warranty for this work. I'm very happy that I chose Abalon and will recommend them to anyone needing these services in the future.

I had a crack in my basement floor and contacts Abalone for a quote. After sending pictures, Brad called to let me know he was concerned with how big they were! He came the same day to survey my house and confirmed there were no structural issues. I then booked Abalone in to fill the crack. Steve came by today. He was professional, courteous, quick and did a good job!

The last time we had Abalon do some work for us, they didn't cover our belongings and everything got really dusty so I made sure to ask about it this time. I was assured there wouldn't be a lot of dust, but unfortunately, all of our stuff is covered in dust again.

Finding water in the basement, and then discovering that the source was a floor to ceiling crack in the foundation, was beyond stressful. Hiring Avalon to fix the issue for us however was completely stress free. It cost way less than we thought it was going to, it was done correctly- from the outside- like it should be, and we were able to have it done way sooner in the season than we thought possible.

The guys that came to do the fix itself were amazingly unobtrusive and quiet, and by the time they left there was no sign left of their having even done such a big, messy job. Thank you so much to everyone at Avalon for being amazing!

I contacted Abalon to repair a crack in our basement wall. They came out and had a look at the issue. Within a day, I had a quote. Once I accepted the quote, they quickly got us booked in for the repair. We did not have to wait too long for Abalon to do the work. Shawn and his assistant showed up one morning and they had the basement wall dug out to the weeping tile and the repair made by mid afternoon.

They dug out a 9 feet length of the wall and approx. 6 feet deep. They came back the next day and replaced the weeping tile and finished the repair and then backfilled. The leftover clay was picked up and hauled away. Shawn and his assistant did an excellent job of cleaning up. I was very happy that they were able to do the repair and not disturb our interlocking sidewalk that was beside the excavation. I own an apartment building in Edmonton. Before I bought the building I had Abalon come over to survey the foundation, to ensure that it was sound. 10 years later, I had Abalon repair a drainage issue. Just recently we have had a settling issue and have had Abalon come in to review, and to monitor the foundation. In ALL instances, they have responded quickly, and done whatever work that has been required professionally and completely.

What a relief being able to call a company that responds so fast, and being confident that they are going to take care of business. With our last problem, we are just going to monitor the issue and if it gets worse, fix it. My first call will be to Abalon.

Brent showed up to assess our damage and was helpful. When we said their way wouldn't fit our budget he worked with us to get it to within budget (new family and had just purchased home less than 2 years prior). Once work started Lindsey and crew put their heads down and dug and applied membrane within a few days. Kevin and Steve (engineers/framers) we friendly and in and out in a day and kindly answered all my curious questions about the reinforced framed wall. All in all good experience with Abalon. I used Abalon to waterproof the wood foundation on my acreage, install weeping tile, as well as install some widow wells. The experience throughout was professional and the process easy. The techs doing the work were great! John and Tom were super friendly and answered any questions I had, I was very happy with the job they did.

I had a few cracks in my foundation and I Highly recommend using this company! Everyone I spoke with was so friendly and pleasant to deal with. The two technicians that did the work (Justin and James I believe were their names) were hard workers and kept everything clean and tidy! The services we have received some Abalon Foundation Repairs in August was 10 / 10. The people that assisted us in what we required was Brad Harding who is the (Project Manager), David Heeson (Project Coordinator) the workers were Shawn and Joe. The Office Manager that we worked with is Neela Bikharie. From the work and experience, we had from Abalon I would recommend them.

Brent came out to our home to do an inspection prior to us bringing in a landscaping company to do some grading in our yard. I want to thank Justin and Mason for their outstanding and professional work during the week they spent (Oct 25-29) fixing the foundation in my home. They were very hard working, friendly, polite, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Abalon Construction has been amazing to our organization, they repaired the foundation at one of our youth homes, and responded the same day to our shelter location when we had a collapsed sewer line - dispatched a crew, and had us open again the very same day! Never having foundation work done before, we have no idea what to expect. The work was professionally done and what a clean work site. Fernando did an amazing job ensuring our neighbour's properties were not disturbed and even our property was left so clean and perfect. JOB WELL DONE, ON BUDGET Over the years the front of our attached garage heaved that impacted the garage floor and front right column. I contacted Abalon as I knew that they are a reputable company that does very good work. Brent Halarewich came out and completed the assessment and made recommendations. We had to wait until early summer to get the work started to ensure the frost was out of the ground.

This was a huge job that Lindsay and his crew (Wynd, Justin, Sandy, Stephan) worked extremely hard removing the concrete, digging 7 foot deep holes in the two front corners and a mid point of each side the garage. New cement and steel footings were installed and left to cure. Then we wait for the garage to drop, which took time, but Abalon was back on site measuring to ensure the garage dropped to the correct elevation.

At that point new cement and steel pilings were installed and left to cure. Once cured that holes were back filled and tampered down as they want to ensure we would not have any sinking issues. Abalon subcontracted the concrete garage floor and upper driveway installation and monitored the work along the way. Brent was on-site regularly assessing the progress and communicating what was happening each step of the way.

Once the work was completed Brent reevaluated the elevations of each corner of our garage and they were all the same level. I highly recommend Abalon and would not hesitate to use them again should the need arise.

We needed foundation repairs + to install a sump pump. Fernando and Jose, the men who did the work, did an excellent job on all the foundation repairs and in the installation of a sump pump in our basement. They were extremely conscientious, hard working, unfailingly polite and answered all our questions patiently, explaining whatever we didn't understand about the repair and installation process.

I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to do this type of work on their home. Fernando and Jose's work is of the highest quality, no corners cut, it's all exactly as you wish it to be.

I had some foundation cracks that needed major repair so I reached out to Abalone based on their online reviews. Dustin came to our house and did the assessment and explained everything that I needed to know in order to make a decision. Dustin was able to quote me with a reasonable cost for the project so I decided to go ahead with them. The crew, led by Lyndsay, was very efficient and professional.

They were able to finish the project within a few days and kept the site very tidy. During the project, both Dustin and Kyle came to the work site to inspect progress and to check on things to make sure the problems were fixed properly. I asked all of the people involved a lot of questions to educate myself, and they were very willing to explain things to me, so I really enjoyed the interaction with them. Overall I am happy with the work they did, and enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend them for their quality and professional customer service.

We have had Abalone work with us twice (different issues and different homes) and have been delighted with their work both times. The most recent work done by Victor was efficient and the clean up in one of my favorite garden areas was outstanding. He also was respectful of the fact that we are all working from home and took great care in the repair work.
