I would recommend Air Today Hvac to everyone. I called them panicked on a Friday after because my ac was blowing out heat. during a heat wave. I spoke with Dawn who scheduled an appointment for the same day. Within 1.5 hours John was dispatched. He came in made all the necessary repairs and explained everything thoroughly. He was extremely pleasant and professional.
He also suggested scheduled maintenance to make sure the issue wouldn't reoccur. My house is now cool as a cucumber. I will definitely continue using their services. Awesome job.

RB was punctual, friendly and personable. He inspected the clogged toilet and explained what course of action he would be taking should we accept repair. The price was reasonable and more affordable than other companies we inquired with, and the customer service was exceptional. Will definitely be using this service again.

My AC system was not working properly. AirToday arrived to check the system the same day I called. Nick (the technician) was extreme friendly and very knowledgeable. The bad news is they needed to order a new part but the good news is it was still under warranty. I did have to pay for the labor to install once the part arrived, but again Nick was extremely thorough with installation and kept me up-to-date on the fix throughout the process.

Our experience was incredible. Within 24hrs of moving into our home our heating system went out. Air Today showed up same day. The tech we initially worked with, Nick, was quick but thorough. I deeply appreciate how straight forward and honest he was. When we established that repair our problem was not worth it financially, we were then put in touch with Zach. Again, another phenomenal experience.
We were given the facts, the pros and cons, the point blank numbers. The professionalism, the kindness and the fast paced work was incredible. Air Today will from here on be who were recommend to everyone and our go to HVAC company.

Our home is an older home, built in the 70s, and when we bought it we knew the HVAC system would need to be replaced soon. Air Today came out to run a diagnostic test and suggested a new system that would work best for our home. We had another company do an evaluation too, but Air Today was by far the best.

After recently moving into a house, the HVAC started failing during colder temperatures. It had to be replaced entirely. I got 5 different quotes and ultimately chose Air Today because of the financing option (0% for 18 months) and the technician Zach. He was straightforward and recommended the best system within my budget. Unlike the other people, Zach did not pressure or rush me to make a decision.
After all, buying a HVAC system is a major purchase. Before even hearing any competitor's quote, he provided an amazing and reasonable price. As a matter of fact, the other competitors were struggling to match Air Today's quote afterwards. Furthermore, Zach always answered my calls and texts quickly. The installers were punctual and professional; it took around 7-8 hours as previously estimated.
Air Today also sent North Carolina inspectors out to make sure the work is up to code. Now, I am content and comfortable in my house during this freezing weather. Thanks Air Today!

Our a/c unit started having issues where one floor was hotter than it should've been. Josh came out and was very friendly and professional. Josh's customer service was good. He replaced two dampeners ($800) and then later found the evaporator coil was bad. Lennox coils are backordered so you can't get those right now. Once it was determined we needed a new coil, I felt that the company really wanted me to purchase a new unit instead of fix the ones I have.
We asked the cost of having another manufacturer's coil installed and were quoted over $1600! A new coil is approximately $500. Based on this extreme pricing I can't recommend this company.

Zach Weir and the installation team at Air Today are fantastic! I highly recommend them. We used Air Today when it was time to replace our upstairs a/c system a few years ago, so when our downstairs unit needed to be replaced they were our first choice! Great communication, thorough explanations and great experience combined with an expert installation and start-up team make them the ideal company to do business with. Air Today saved our butts Monday afternoon!!! What I thought was a simple project in my sons room ended up being a nightmare that Air Today saved us from!!!!! I hit the pipe in the wall in our brand new home when I was nailing in boards on an accent wall, letting all of the refrigerant out into our sons room... no AC, frantically trying to figure out the next few days with 4 small kids, a baby on the way, two dogs, and a husband going back to work after two months off from surgery.
It was something we didn’t need and you guys saved our butts beyond imaginable!!! We can not thank you enough for how well you treated us, how fast you came to the rescue, and how professional you and your staff are! Thank you so so much for ever and ever!!!! Best HVAC company ever!!!

I have been a customer of Air Today for over 10 years and been on a maintenance contract for two years. They came out in March to do a routine check-up on my two HVAC systems - one upstairs in the attic and one in the crawl space. UV light system, which kills biological growth, needed bulb replaced and the unit in the crawl space needed the system installed as there was not one in place.
This was in the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis so I was being careful not to spend large amounts of money until things played out in the world. Anyway, I was quoted $1010 to replace bulb and install UV system in crawl space, when I attempted to use their financial options, the option of making payments for 12 months with no interest, I was told the code AirToday provided did not work. The tech had no answers and said he would contact the main office. The tech left and the main office never called to follow up. That was over 30 days ago.

I was quoted $99 Sunday service fee. When the tech finally calls he informs me that the Sunday service fee is $129. OK 1st problem The tech found the whip and box had burned out. That took about 10 minutes. $700 estimate to repair. As opposed to $7100 to replace the unit in a week to 10 days. We approve the repair. Upon completion he tells me the bill is $1113.
I am like that is no where near the original estimate. After a short conversation about wow really? Now I end up paying $941.56 for 1.5 hours of work. Nice guy and all but wow.

It only the technician about 10 mintes to find the problem with my A/C, that was great. I was quoted $700 for the repair. Seems rather pricey but I approve the repair. After he is finished he tells me the final bill is $1113. That is a bit higher than what was quoted. $129 Sunday service fee. $313.79 60 amp disconnect includes labor $324.84 Electrical whip (wiring with conduit) included labor $240 labor to wire whip, after my protest of this is no where near what I was quoted he only charged $120 labor for wiring.
If the whip includes labor how do you install it without connecting the wires? The wiring charge I feel is charging double for work already paid for. Final bill $941 for 1.5 hours of work. I feel like I was taken advantage of

Chris one of the plumbing technicians arrived on time. He was very friendly and appeared comfortable in doing his work, a shower faucet replacement for me. Actually it was an upgrade from a system that had been in the house for ages. He checked his work and assured everything was to my satisfaction. He was very courteous and pleasant to talk to and I'm very happy with the results of my new shower faucet that doesn't leak anymore.
I will be counting on Air Today to deliver the same quality service and reasonable pricing that I received today. Thanks Chris for such a professional job and friendly service.

I just had my entire system replaced: compressor, furnace, dampers, zone control board, along with 2 wireless thermostats. It was a huge job, and I was very concerned about which company to use. Used Air Today twice in Spring 2018. We have a heat pump, 2002 Unicom high static system, which has unique 2.5 dia duct system. In May AC just not keeping cool enough. During winter not keeping warm enough. Last system check July 2017. Freon pressure fine. Tech Jaron came in. Diagnosis old R22 freon down 2.5 - 3 lbs. Evaporator showed corrosion of galvanized sheet. Presumed caused micro pin holes in copper tubing. Added 3 lb R22 freon. Said had no idea if, or how long would keep pressure up. Recommended new system due to age, cost to repair doesn't justify using old R22 freon that will no longer available in 2020.
A week later, I discovered Jaron did not reinstall caps on freon ports of condenser unit. I screwed them on. I did work with Wes to see if Air Today could replace Unicom system. They could not. Don't have access to equipment and their techs not factory trained. Not enough Unicom units in Charlotte region for them to justify cost to train techs.

Very knowledgeable, explained problems thoroughly, was on time to appts, was extremely cheaper than competitors, supplied me with window A.C. unit until my appt, and followed up multiple times to make sure I was satisfied. Followed by an inspection. Will absolutely refer to friends and use for all my future HVAC needs. Also the ONLY company that came out the same day as called to give a quote.

Kirk Martin was wonderful in pricing out a new system for me. He priced every option I asked and educated me along the way. He was no pressure and even recommended a cheaper system because he thought the quality was better. Also said if i needed to hold off on the purchase til the end of the season, he would give me some freon to get by. That's top notch service. Prices are very competitive with the other two quotes I obtained.

First off, my husband works for another company in HVAC, but our system is brand new (not even 4 months old) so he can't work on our system. Our unit stopped working so he called for an after hour call in, and the phone was answered by the answering service who sent a message to the tech on call. The tech called, asked a couple of questions, and said he would be on the way. Great!
Then his "service manager" called my husband. She was rude, had a horrible attitude, and was questioning my husband and talking to him like a complete idiot! The tech arrived, fixed the problem and all was well. The service tech is the only thing that saved the whole situation!
