Dominick came out and was very professional, knowledgeable about what I had, and explained to me all my problems with potential solutions. Had no problem going over it all in detail and choosing the route to deal with it. I had some real issues and I believe in paying good money for it to be handled in the best way, and it was. The service technician himself did a great job. What shocked me more was the price per pound for r22 Freon. I get that the stuff is rare these days but charging me 300 bucks per pound I think was a little excessive. Service: A/C system maintenance

Love this company the young man was Knowledgeable professional courteous kind and gave good information on how to keep maintenance done and have maintenance done each year I signed up for the maintenance policy because of the professionalism that the young man showed he really cared he just wasn't at my home to make a dollar he cared about the services that he rendered if I could give 20 stars I'd give them all to this company

I had a leak in my furnace exhaust pipe. Kaltec was able to come out next day to assess the work and came out on a weekend to ensure the job was completed in a speedy and orderly fashion. Furnace went out, called them early morning and they were able to get us scheduled pretty quickly! It's was during a heavy snow too! Fixed the issue and it's been working great ever since. I've called kaltec whenever we need furnace maintenance. They always got it back working. (We could finally afford the permanent repair this last time). They also did a service check and clean on the AC unit after we moved in to our home.

DTE shut off my AC unit for some reason and no other company would get back with me. They responded within 24 hours and came out 2 days later, had the problem fixed within an hour. Great service would use them again Service: HVAC maintenance

I just bought my first home, and wasn't sure how I should recruit a HVAC technician that I could trust. I sent out a mass message on Yelps help feature, and Kaltec replied back quickly with a phone number. I called and was after explaining that I simply needed a certificate that my Heat Exchange was working, I was given available slots for the next day!

I chose from 2pm-4pm as my slot, and was given the estimate over the phone (which was about $30 LESS than the other companies that contacted me estimated), but they let me know that the services I was requesting was eligible for a $50 DTE incentive as well. He arrived promptly the next day shortly after 2pm, had done my test within the hour, and gave me a rundown on the workings of my boiler and how to secure the DTE incentive.

He also talked through his work and the condition of my boiler to keep me abreast of potential future work that may need to be done. They accepted cards over their electronic device, and my receipt was sent to my email, as was my report. 10/10 recommend these guys. I will be calling them back to do a little more work for me too!

He came the same day I contacted him and had the AC working by that evening. He had the replacement part in the truck and installed it and the AC worked fine. He was here about half hour. He did a great job.

A hot day when the ac went out. Came out within 2 hrs, figured out what was wrong, helped us stay within our budget and put in new unit next day. Exceptional service, very nice people. Thanks again.

No air on memorial weekend and temps over 95! Kal came out and put a whole new furnace and Air conditioning unit on Memorial Day. No other companies called back. Great service and very professional, will call him again if I have heating and cooling issues. 5 stars plus!

With another one of those random spring Michigan cold spells, our furnace suddenly stopped working. Kal was able to come out just the next day and did not charge an "emergency fee" like all the other companies I called. He did his work thourgly and laid out our options moving foward. I hope to not have heating troubles in the future, but if I do, I'm calling Kaltec!

They're professional, affordable, all around seem like nice people and the type I like doing business with. I highly recommend them for heating and cooling needs. PS: I'll be submitting the same reviews on other sites and no I'm not paid to do so. Just a happy customer and want to let them know.
