The company I was using for multiple properties and visits never returned my calls. I read the reviews and called Friends & Family on a weekend. 1. Customer service and first impressions mean a lot to us so the first thing that impressed me was the response time to my Yelp messages and the professionalism and friendliness. Jimmy greeted me with a "Good morning" which I truly appreciate. Not all businesses do that and I'm turned off by cold, short responses without any friendly personal touches. 2.

Price and budget also matter to me and the quote was reasonable and lower than others I received. 3. Efficiency in scheduling the appt was great. Whitney was super polite and professional and made scheduling a breeze. I was able to schedule an appt within 24 hours and she told me that I'd receive a confirmation text as well as a courtesy text when the technician was en route.

I received both texts. 4. Edgar was was our HVAC specialist and he was professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. He took the time to explain our system to us and how everything works. He worked fast and efficiently to tune up our furnace and went out of his way to give us genuinely helpful tips and asked if we had any questions. We had questions and he answered them all.

We feel so much better about running our heater during this unusually cold winter and are thankful for the whole team. We could tell Edgar is very knowledgeable and eager to share the knowledge. 5. Highly recommended!

Wow! This company is incredible. Kenny came out for an estimate and was such a pleasure. He was extremely likable, informative, and kind. He is extremely skilled at building rapport and making you feel comfortable. He also eases any anxiety you may have about your project. Truly awesome guy! Whitney is absolutely the sweetest on the phone. She is kind, attentive, and patient. This is an honest and caring company. Edgar was THE best. So friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. He figured out what was wrong very quickly and made sure to check all the vents to ensure that it was actually cooling. This business is courteous, professional, and goes above and beyond. Kenny Neyra came out to help us determine why there was no air in my mother's bedroom (mobile home). After spending a LONG time under the house, he was able to correct the problem the same day AND do it for less than what we anticipated. Kenny was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us in great detail.

We called Friends and Family to get a quote on a planned HVAC upgrade. They provided by far the most comprehensive and detailed take on what was needed to improve the quality of our AC. Since they were also competitive on the price, no need to say we went with Friends and Family. The day of install, the crew knocked on our door at 9am and were done around 4pm.

They were friendly, worked efficiently and kept our house clean, as promised. The new HVAC is super quiet and definitely improved the quality of the indoor air. The improved performance is in line with what we were told during the initial inspection. Friends and Family are definitely worth working with. They are here to help, provide accurate information, explain the trade-offs - and keep the customer in the driver's seat the whole time.

Wow! What a great experience. Our air conditioning unit was not working properly. I called Friends & Family last night and was able to have them come out today. Thank you Edgar Martinez for being prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Within 20 minutes he was able to diagnose the issue and fix it! Whew! Because summer is on the way, and it's going to be a hot one. I highly recommend Friends & Family. I will continue to use them for anything in the future should the need arise.

What a wonderful experience we had working with this company. Our heater in our home went out. We called another company and after about a 2 hour service call in which nothing was done, we were told that the repair bill would be about $5,000. I called Friends & Family, to get a second opinion. I set up an appointment for the following day. Early. in the morning, Daron, Senior Technician, arrived at our freezing home. Daron went right to our unit, made a quick review and inspection.

At once determined that our thermostat was bad. He replaced it on the spot.furnace went on at once.very high grade easy to read thermostat is great. Total cost.under $50. Such great service, great price, quality workmanship. I highly recommend Friends & Family for air conditioning and heating service. Daron did make us feel like we were dealing with a friend or family member. I loved the caring and honesty!

I actually tried this company based off of the reviews posted and I can truly say that I am glad that I did. We called them because our thermostat stopped working. We ended up getting a new thermostat installed. Kenny was great. He was on time, installed the thermostat, showed us how to use it and checked our AC and heater to make sure that everything was working great. Thank you for the great service. We will definitely be using this company for all our future AC and heating needs.

5 stars is not nearly enough for the service I received from Friends and Family! My air went out last night and I panicked! First thing early this morning I called and spoke with the owner, Jimmy, he was very friendly and listened while I explained what was going on. He advised it could be a few things but assured me whatever it was he would get it fixed!

He was booked today but carved time out of his schedule to come check it out. He was very polite, well mannered and most importantly, super knowledgeable!! He had my unit up and running in no time and his pricing was incredibly reasonable!! There were a lot of places I could call but I'm so glad I called Jimmy! I was having a problem with my ac and called multiple company's and most of the companies could not see me for a week, I got ahold of James and he came to my home promptly he was very professional and also fast found out my ac had a leak and being that my unit was almost 20 years old he helped educate me on why this would not be in my best interest to repair this unit(being that r-22 refrigerant is being banned) he put a new unit in my home in just one day at a very competitive price! I had family in from out of town and my AC had just stopped in the beginning of a 95 degree week on a Friday night at 5pm, Jimmy was at our house and the air was up and running by 7pm! Super nice, positive guy and happy to help, and all for a great price! Highly recommend!! Thanks Jimmy!

Over the top CUSTOMER SERVICE. Jimmy, the owner, personally handled every aspect of my service. Like everyone's experience, I needed to get my air conditioner serviced as soon as possible. Jimmy took the time to understand my situation and offered solutions and suggestion to get my problem fixed. He would call to check in with me to see if I made any progress. Jimmy's concern was that my family would have another night without air conditioning.

Even though, they were completely booked with appointments. Jimmy was able to make time and come to my home at 10:00 pm. In a half an hour, after arriving, Jimmy found the problem and fixed it. This was great same day service at a very fair price.

We've been having a problem with our AC after few months of moving to our house. It just won't turn cold anymore, and we really need it this summer. It's been a struggle for us since we don't know anyone who can help us to check on it. I've been looking and searching around to find someone who can help us, but no luck. Fortunately ,one of my friends recommended James/Jimmy to us.

I got a response within 15 minutes and they asked for my phone number. I got a call from Jimmy and I explained to him what happened. He was able to troubleshoot my problem over the phone and was very. accurate.

When hitting triple digits outside our Almost brand new AC unit decides to not work properly, making noises, rattling and producing very little cold air as the house gets increasingly hot! I call around to get someone out for an emergency visit, there's a LOT of "earliest we can do is the week after next" from air conditioning companies (including the original installers) - by this time my house is in the 80's and climbing.

I finally reach friends and family and not only do they agree to come out same day, they actually get here within the hour.

James the technician (and I think owner of the company) not only fixed the problem but also explained what it was, and then gave the entire system a once over check, to make sure it won't happen again anytime soon, and some brilliant advice on how I can help the longevity of my system (I got the filters you advised me James - thank you) one thing else to note, they system actually works better now than it did before.

The other pleasant surprise was his call out fee / repair, I had a number in my head of what a weekend call out fee during the summer heatwave would cost, and he came in way below that. Finally - he gave me his personal cell phone and said I could reach out anytime via text or phone with any questions, or emergencies. I hope I don't have to use the number, but piece of mind knowing I now "know a guy" in the air conditioning world who can help me.

Friends and family did a great job when the AC went out in my vrbo. They had it up and running within an hour. My renters said they are very professional and courteous. It's great to have a HVAC company you can trust when you're in a different state.

On the hottest day of the year, my husband and I came home from work yesterday only to find out the AC was not working upstairs. All of the bedrooms in our home are upstairs, so this was definitely going to be a big problem. We were also worried because we have family friends coming into town from out of state this weekend. James was able to come to our home first thing this morning and fix our AC unit to our complete satisfaction.
