We found The Hardwood Giant through an internet search. We read a few great reviews and decided to contact them (Phil). Working with him was seamless. He came to our home to provide an estimate for replacing carpeting in two bedrooms with hardwood, and replacing tile in the laundry room with LVL. He turned around an estimate the next day, and brought us samples for the LVL a couple of days later. Phil was able to schedule the work a week later, and the floors came out better than we could have hoped. Phil's team was able to match the existing hardwood floor, in plank size and stain. The LVL also looks fantastic in our laundry room. We highly recommend The Hardwood Giant!

Phil and his crew did a beautiful job of sanding and restaining our floors. In addition, we had a floor heat vent moved and the hole had to be repaired. They did such a great job that you can't tell where the hole was. We had the entire downstairs done and it all looks brand new. They did the job while we were away. We came home to a clean and beautiful home. They are trustworthy terrific guys and I recommend them 100%.

Replaced our last two rooms of carpet with red oak hardwood flooring to match existing. I can not speak highly enough about the professionalism, installation and quality of work. Everyone showed up on time and worked hard to minimize the impact of construction on our home. I have used a few companies over the years and Giant Hardwood Flooring far exceeds. The Hardwood Giant did a fantastic job installing my LVP floors! They tracked down the exact floors/product I wanted, even though they were not part of the initial discussion. We ended up having a lot of issues with getting the old floors up but Phil and his team never gave up. They did everything possible (including long hours and weekend work) to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction and in a reasonable amount of time. This company and especially the owner Phil exceeded all expectations on our project. Even today I was walking through and noticing details of their repair and restoration I hadn't initially seen. The finish is flawless and I'm very glad I took the experts advice and opted for the stain we did. They finished on time and did beautiful work. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and these guys are GOOD!

OUTSTANDING! They use high quality materials and are always on time. The installation team works like a fine tuned machine, if any problems are encountered they just don't come to you with the problem but also with solution choices for the problem. The owner or his representative is on site everyday to insure things are going well. The price is reasonable for the quality of workmanship and material used.

Hardwood Giant did an excellent job installing new bamboo flooring in our condo. They communicated and responded quickly and answered our (many) questions about the process. Our family really enjoyed working with the owner and his team. The results of the floor speak for themselves, they look amazing. One of the most important pieces of this process is selected the correct stain color. It was great to have ideas, but the owner and his team sanded off parts of the floor and truly took their time and found the exact color we were looking for.

We ended up doing a 50/50 mix and everyone was incredibly patient while we made the huge decision and worked through the options. Refinishing your floors is a great option instead of replacing if yours floors have that ability and Hardwood Giant will make the process a great one for you!

We had water damage and had to replace our entire downstairs floor. Phil came out and gave a really competitive estimate. His team came out and were able to fully replace our floors in just 3 days including tear out. They stayed later the 3rd day so we could get it all wrapped up and get full use of our floors. My Wife and I recently purchased a home in Monroe, NC and needed the hardwood floors refinished. We received several quotes and decided to go with Phil even though his quote was not the lowest. He is honest, on time for appointments, does his own measurements, offers to add new moulding in places you wouldn't think, and had our quote ready the very next day. His entire crew was very pleasant, respectful, and professional. The job was completed on time and turned out fantastic! Their quality of work is worth every penny.

They recently refinished all our hardwood floors after water damage from a leaky icemaker and they did a fantastic job. They showed up on time, did a very good job and left the house spotless. They exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them highly.

Absolutely love this company! Phil was quick to respond and arrive for an estimate, when I agreed to his very fair price we set a time. He was on time (rare these days) and his crew were excellent! Earlier this year we had used a handyman and his pals to refinish the hardwood floors in our kitchen and den. Big mistake! They ended up doing a terrible job as they clearly didn't really know what they were doing. We couldn't live with the botched job and knew we had to go with professionals to do the job correctly. We contacted The Hardwood Giant and were able to quickly get an appointment to have them come out and give us a price estimate.

It was obviously higher than what we had paid the inept handyman but we knew we had to move forward. Last week we had them do the job. Phil, the owner of The Hardwood Giant, came out on the first day to explain the steps in the process, answer any remaining questions we had and make sure we were satisfied with the stain color selected. Crews came out over three days to remove floor moldings, sand, stain, seal, buff, apply two coats of polyurethane, and reinstall the floor moldings.

Each day a different group of craftsman specializing in particular tasks was on site with Phil there for at least the start of each day's work to make sure everything was on track. The job was completed on time and the finished floor was fantastic. When it is time to refinish the hardwood floors in other rooms in our house we won't hesitate to use The Hardwood Giant again.

They do excellent work at a fair price, are very service-oriented and take great pride and care in completing each step of the resurfacing process correctly. We couldn't ask for a better experience!

Owner Phil and his crew did a great job installing my bamboo floors. I received an email within a few hours of my initial contact. Phil visited my home and brought samples of flooring the very next day. He kept me thoroughly informed throughout the entire process. His crew showed up on time, did meticulous work, and cleaned up after themselves. Phil ended the project with a follow-up visit and instructions on how to care for my new floors. Be aware that the prices might be higher than those you can get at a "big box store." However, they are fair and the quality and peace of mind are worth it.

We had some areas of pet damage, where the wood was stained black. The floor needed both refinishing, and repair. HWG did a great job. You'd have to be looking for a repair to notice where the boards were replaced. The floors look like new, and the work was done quickly. It looks great!

Before hiring Hardwood Giant, I did a lot of research on the wood floors I already had in the house (which I wanted matched), and different installing companies. Hardwood Giant was the only company to include everything I wanted on their quote, and the grade of wood that matched what I already had. They were prompt, professional, and I was more than pleased on the quality of work they did, they matched the color perfectly. Phil was always there in the morning to get the crew started, and if I had a question, he had the answers for me within minutes. The floor looks amazing, and I hope to hire them to do additional work upstairs.
