Exceptional experience with Lars remodeling converting our very plain backyard into an amazing new living space and oasis of family enjoyment. After exploring other options, we came to Lars with very rough ideas of our vision of transforming our backyard. Lars converted our rough sketches into very clear plans that brought our ideas to life. It was great to see a view of the expected end result before committing to the project.

And it's an understatement to say the end result exceeded what we even imagined it could be. We have been working with Lars since June on our kitchen and master bath remodel which will begin in January. The planning and design portion of any project is so important, and we couldn't be happier with everyone we have worked with. From the first meeting with Betsy Burton our project consultant, ordering our fabulous appliances from the expert Matt Regole, designing and picking the finishes with Yvette Travers, finalizing logistics with our project manager Martin, all organized with the friendly help of Bonnie Ernst we've had nothing but a great experience with Lars. Attended the Workshop in February 2020. Very informative for anyone thinking about a remodeling project. They are not lying when they say they won't be doing a sales pitch. Really encourage anyone to join and ask as many questions as you have. Everyone there was super nice, friendly, and helpful.

I would like to share a customer satisfaction issue that met every expectation.it was perfect. We had Lars provide an extensive remodel circa 2010. We have been very happy with the end product since. Earlier this week, our water heater failed. While troubleshooting with assistance from the heater manufacturer tech support, it came to light that a modification to the venting method done as part of the remodel to vent horizontally out the side of the house with an external exhaust fan is not safe and could no be supported.

Hearing that we have been in an unsafe environment as a result of recommendation by the Lars team to address the structural constraints for the venting, I became extremely angry and contacted Lars' office. Matt, the Lars office manager took my initial and subsequent calls. Matt flawlessly handled the situation being calm and respectful and offering detailed advice on his actions going forward and fulfilled and beyond every commitment.

Project manager Owen engaged straightaway along with Lars' plumbing contractor Gustavo of Calplumb. Additionally, Jason Larson returned my call per my demand. Jason assured me that the situation would be addressed without any pushback. After these reactions by the Lars team, I felt totally comfortable that we were in good hands. As requested, Owen and Gustavo along with his assistant Omar rang my doorbell right at 8:00AM the next morning.

After scoping the issue and reviewing options, Owen offered the best solution to replace the water heater with a modern model designed specifically for this application that included a new vent line. Gustavo and Omar proceeded to procure the heater and materials for the installation straightaway. Before the end of the day, we were back up and running with hot water.

The installation is beautiful. This situation could not have been handled any better by all involved. The ownership and reaction by Lars was perfect. This reaffirms our decision to select Lars originally. We were told at the time that the warranty is basically forever. I can say without hesitation that this is the case. BRAVO!

My experience working with LARS was fabulous, specifically working with Jennifer Cavanaugh who is genuine, understanding, creative and extremely proactive about her entire approach working with clients. She listened from the very beginning and comes up with solutions that we would have never considered. All around a complete professional and someone we really enjoyed personally getting to know along the way!

I met with Dan from the company for an at home consultation to discuss several home remodeling projects my husband and I have been considering. I discussed my budget and the materials and projects with Dan and He was very quick to tell me all the best and most affordable ways to do all the projects. It seemed like the projects we had would be better for us to do on our own and I sincerely appreciated that he told us as much and then went a step further to tell us how to go about it.

You could tell he was an honest and respectable person working for an honest and respectable company and that's is exactly what I'm always looking for and part of the good thing about yelp. Even though we did not work together this time Dan's honesty and very clear knowledge when answering our questions (and my husband is a structural engineer) makes me expect that we will be working together in the future!

I hired Larsen to redesign my master bathroom. I really wanted a high-quality product that I could be proud of. My bathroom is absolutely stunning. I was so happy with my team of Dominic, Lori and Wendy they were so attentive and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.

I'm so thankful that I called LARS Construction!! After the recent storms, we had some flooding issues in our living room that needed to be dealt with. I called LARS for a consultation and Jeff B. was assigned my project. He called the day before our appointment to discuss what I needed done; after our conversation we decided that my project wasn't the best fit for LARS but Jeff didn't hesitate to offer to come out to my home and offer advice. He was kind, courteous, and had wonderful ideas to help solve our flooding issue. When we are ready to remodel, LARS will be our first choice!

We couldn't be happier with Lars Remodeling and Design. We bought an 80+ year-old Spanish revival home that was in need of extensive renovations. We started with a local architect and were soon disappointed as the project stalled and expenses soared. Lars stepped in with kindness and compassion and quickly helped us to regroup. The office staff is kind and courteous.

Any concern you have will be promptly addressed and taken care of to your satisfaction. Your voice is always heard and your preferences are the number one priority. Yvette Travers, the designer is amazingly talented and so much fun to work with. Mike Hebert was our Project Design Consultant and is a pleasure to know. He led us through every step with confidence and expertise. Jeff Brown was our project manager who is exceptionally knowledgeable and was attentive and communicative throughout the entire process. Matt Regole is an ace at helping to choose your appliances and plumbing fixtures without breaking the bank.

From the big picture to the small details, Lars has it covered. You will not be disappointed. Our old house presented many challenges and is now safe, aesthetically beautiful and functional. The final product is spectacular. I would go with Lars again in a heartbeat.

Lars did my remodel and 1000 square foot addition. This was two+ years ago. I am very happy with them and they work they performed. There were several issues that drove me nuts, but the key thing in the end is that they resolved them. Looking back, I am happy to have chosen Lars. They were good up front, design, craftsmanship, working the issues and the end phases.

We have had numerous experiences with remodeling and we find that Lars Remodeling Company is the best. We had an older condo extensively remodeled on a tight schedule. Lars guided us through the entire major remodel process with design, permits, product selection and color selections. Their help was invaluable. The project manager, on site manager and designer were outstanding.

LARS did a major remodel of our home almost 5 years ago. Due to all the rain we had the past winter we developed a leak. As the remodel was almost 5 years ago, we no longer had the name of the roofing company that installed the new roof. We called LARS and they took care of the issue immediately. We had the roofing company at our house within a week and they fixed the ridge before the last big rain we had this year. Thanks LARS

My journey began with looking for a full service remodeling company for my kitchen and family room. I was done with independent contractors who I found completely unreliable and the time and frustration was something I no longer wanted to endure when remodeling my kitchen and family room. I began my search and interviewed Jackson, Mirakkel, Kaminsky and Lars.

Jason Larson at Lars Remodeling is a man of integrity and honesty. My whole home remodel of my 70's era home was challenging and complicated. Lars made everything come together and backed up all the work. If I wasn't happy, Lars wasn't happy. Three other family members have all used Lars for home remodeling. They are the best in San Diego and will make you feel comfortable during the entire process.

We just finished our addition and remodel with Lars Construction. We had a positive experience and absolutely love our house. John Klaka was our amazing designer. Our house turned out better than we ever imagined. My project Manager was very attentive and made sure every detail was perfect. You can be confident that your project will be done right.

Major remodeling. All 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. Added a game room on the first floor and a new master bedroom on the second floor. Remodeled the old master and turned it into an office for the Wife and an upstairs laundry room. All new plumbing and electrical.

We just received the closing book for the project we had Lars do, and this is just one more example of the detail and professionalism that was displayed every step of the way (the book contains all product information, warranties, selections, permits, etc that we can hand off to buyers if we ever move).

Lars Construction is top of the line. We had Lars do our home remodel in which we added a second floor and added almost 2000 square feet to our house. The job was completed 30 days early. Each step of the way Jason and his team kept us informed, made sure we understood everything they were doing, and ensured that we were satisfied with the work. Initially we had another company come out to consult on what we wanted.

They returned with all "their" ideas not ours. We had a meeting with Lars and they came back with everything we wanted and even more. My wife and I would never use anyone else.
