Javier from Alamo Key &Lock is professional, timely, and communicative. I was very pleased with the services he did -locks on refrigerator, cabinets, and doors. I didn't have to wait all day for him to complete the job. He told me the time he would arrive and followed the given time. His work was very good and neatly done. I would recommend him and this company to anyone.

Would NOT recommend! Call the guy scheduled a time to come. He stood me up, I called spoke to a lady about the situation. She asked what I need, asked for my number and stated someone would return my call. Needless to say I waited 2 days and No call. If you didn't want to make money just say that. I called another locksmith they came replaced everything and connected my FOB. Thank you for not responding!

Very happy about my service, I was skeptical because of the online response and minimum communication. I canceled and decided to go with someplace else. The mobile locksmith called already to follow-up and arrived despite my cancellation. He was prompt and quick. I wasn't sure if I needed a ignition service, turns out it was just a new key that I needed.

Thank you young man, not sure what you name was but I'm at ease knowing that this issue was completed. I would recommend, but try not to do much communicating through the online inquiry like I did.

These are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I have been waiting on a quote for 2 weeks from them for my business. I have spoke to Javier the tech and he has lied to me multiple times. I called and spoke with Esteban and asked for a manager and he literally just hung up in my face. DO NOT use them. I would give it a zero stars if I could. SOOO UNPROFESSIONAL.

Worthless in a time of need. Called around 2pm, and no return call I was told I would receive from service tech. Called back after a few hours, informed company of situation and still no return call. Lost all hope by midnight. (Whole time waiting in parking lot of a business away from my home)I was kind and considerate through it all so there's no excuse. I rate this place NEGATIVE TEN STARS! This post wouldn't post without a minimum of one star but just know that's not reality. sad. Really sad.

I ordered services they show up. he hooked a computer up to the car waited 2 hours the says its still not working and he has to come back the following day and it another 100.00 charge. I get the car towed to the dealership cause something doesn't seem right. The dealership says he damaged the whole computer and it now needs to be replaced. I call this company to inform them of the damaged. They say Manger will call me back in 5 minutes. THAT WAS 9AM THIS MORNING NOW THEY ARE NOT ANSWERING MY CALLS! THIS IS ANOTHER SCAMMER

I contracted Alamo to rekey all my locks less than 3 years ago. All the locks now have turned stiff and break keys on monthly bases. None of my houses' locks show this type of behavior - other houses only the ones that Alamo serviced! Very suspect quality Response to Ron ( Business Owner) - No- Less than 3 years ago. And the defect is on various locks not only affecting one. I have NEVER experienced anything like this. Feel that I was ripped off! I also called you to discuss my concern but still waiting for a call back.

*DO NOT CALL THEM* I lost $130 just to program a key that was not working for my car called them and they came out quickly but after they left my car wouldn't start they said they were going to come back they didn't instead another guy called me saying I have to purchase another FOB false I had to hire another locksmith to fix the issue so was out another $100 because the job wasn't done right the first time.

I made the unfortunate decision to use Alamo Key over 5 years ago for our rental home. I purchased a medeco lock from them for a hefty price. Let me warn you--when you do that you are forced to get a copy of the key from them. You cannot go anywhere else. So imagine you lose and/or break the key to your home & you call Alamo for copy & they don't return your calls.

You see the awful predicament I'm in? I've gone through this exact same situation 3 times now. After countless calls & text, no one returns my message! ALL I NEED IS A COPY OF THE KEY. I've been texting Javier for days & no response. I've called the main line & told a technician will call me & no response. I've even dealt with Ron, the owner who will only reach out to you if there's a bad & honest review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Oh & the cost to get a copy of the key is outrageous. Over $100 for a key copy because of the additional charges. I am so annoyed with this company I am now forced to get a whole new lock so I don't have to deal with them. If you want a good locksmith go to Robbie's Key & Lock on Longpoint for better service, responsive service & better prices.

Ron was extremely helpful in guiding me through my options so that I could select the right lock to suit my needs. Javier could not have been more professional or knowledgeable about the work. He did a fantastic job with the installation and set up. I have a little touch up paint to take care of on the door, but I'm very satisfied with the work Alamo did!

Locked myself out of my car, called 3 locksmiths in town, and Ron was the first to call back. He was upfront immediately and warned me about other locksmiths. He told me the exact price and kept his word. The others were trying to make more money. One guy sounded like a straight-up scammer and only quoted me the service fee. He refused to offer a solid price and told me his max price was $150.

The other offered a fixed price but it was $20 more and wouldn't reduce his price. So be careful if you look for quotes. And reading reviews helped immensely. Alamo is definitely trustworthy and I would use them again.

I was very pleased with the job Ron did replacing the gate locks on both sides of our house. I called, made an appointment, and he came on a Sunday. He provided a clear cost breakdown and even the receipts for the locks that he was installing so I knew there was no markup. He did the work quickly and efficiently. Great experience overall!

Alamo was very easy to communicate with. The technician, Javier, was responsive over text and accommodated me moving the appointment for a conflict. Once at my house, he explained everything that he would need to do to pick my lock and re-key. I would highly recommend their service based on my experience with Javier.

I don't usually write reviews but feel Really need to. I called Alamo to have a front door handle with matching lock installed. I wanted it done that day (which was today) if possible. They said "NO PROBLEM" and proceeded to chrge me $450.00 for a $67.00 cheap Kwikset handle and lock. He did offer to key it for free! Geez buyer beware (especially if you want something done the same day! Outrageous.

Look these people are SHADY. The owner is the one who suggested would refunding me for the removal of the bad review (which admittingly I should not have accepted.). His techs WILL try to price gouge you if you are in a tough spot. ENOUGH. I'm going to report him to the BBB.

Highly recommend Alamo if you're needing Locksmith services! Their technician Javier was fantastic on a recent job I hired them for! He quickly assessed and solved the issue I was experiencing with a lock at my home. His professionalism and very kind demeanor came across instantly. He knows his stuff and would be the first person I'd ask for if I needed Alamo's (who I highly recommenced) services again!

At 5:00 PM, after sitting at the DMV for the past 3 hours, I realized that I had locked my keys in my car. So, I looked on Yelp to find the closest locksmith that would still be willing to help so late in the day. I messaged Alamo Key and Lock and received a response immediately. He met us at the DMV, and he had us in our car in about 5 min or less! If only the DMV could be so quick! Alamo Key and Lock was also reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again if I ever have the need.

I locked my self out of house luckily had my iPhone. I read reviews and called for a price which was reasonable and included every not just a trip charge. Francisco gave me a time and called then texted updates. He came got me in replaced locks to match key which was inside. He was courteous, did good work and made it a positive experience leaving me satisfied with the work and. Having had this happen before.

The lock Smith quoted one price it was a trip charge then tacked on multiple charges and I ended up paying 250$This is honest good work this a first choice 5 stars on service and result

REMEMBER THE ALAMO next time you need a locksmith. I locked my keys in the car with my dog and went into full panic mode! Alamo got there superfast and saved the day. Our key broke in the deadbolt. Ron quoted me a fair price to get it out and arrived an hour later. He got it out and charged me the price he quoted on the phone. No additional charges! I would use him again if I need a locksmith.

I lost my last FOB key and needed someone to come to my home, unlock my car, cut my key, and program it. They were my cheapest option.(by about $80!!!) The price was great, and they have been great. Showed up within an hour of me calling, the system for ordering codes was down so they promised to come back when it was up. An hour went by and then they called and said they would be on the way! Best customer service I have had so far through a locksmith and I have an annual AAA membership.

Highly recommend the guys at Alamo Key & Lock. First had them out to replace locks on all of the doors on short notice. Based on that positive experience, we called them back for a larger project to install security cameras.

I had a really bad experience with one of the owner's subcontractors (whom he has to use when he has to use when he occasionally goes out of town). This guy not only installed my lock backwards but refused to come back & fix it. But when the owner finally became aware of the problem, he was prompt in coming out & fixing my lock. Which also fixed the way the door fits. He turned a bad experience into a good one. I've used this business for well over 20 years. Recommended.

He explained all the options but he was not pushy. He was very prompt and performed the work efficiently. Very satisfied and would call them again if I needed additional work.

I needed a privacy lock and I had seen the same Alamo Key & Lock van in my neighborhood several times so I called the number on the side of the van. I called and the locksmith was nice and helpful quoted a price. His name was Ron and he was very professional and did exactly what he said he was going to do. The end price was the same as the quote. Ron talked about future security ideas but was not pushy, more of a suggestion than a scare tactic.

When I logged on to yelp to write a review, I was surprised to see the other reviews but clearly the reviews were about other locksmiths, with the same company? The man who helped me was timely, called back to ask what color lock I wanted, talked to me about how the lock was installed and why, he was pleasant and honest. I guess the overall point of this review, especially after looking at the other reviews, is to ask for Ron.
Ron had other customer calls for business as he was working so he must be the Locksmith's Locksmith.
