Excellent customer service! From the schedulers to the technician that came out, they provided top notch service and experience. Got a quote for work that will be done, the technician was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable in answering our questions. This company will be our preferred electrical company for our future projects for sure. Nothing felt sales-y or pushy but rather insightful and helpful. I appreciate that and look forward to working with them on additional projects.

Everything about this company was professional and efficient. Unlike other companies I initially reached out to for my required work, these guys did everything right. The customer service was unmatched ( a rarity these days!) They returned all quotes and calls promptly. The technicians arrived on time, walked me through the process and set and met expectations for the day's work.

Both technicians were friendly, positive and professional and answered all my questions. I had an entire panel changed out so it took about six hours which is exactly what they told me to expect. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

Incredible experience. Satisfied in all Aspects. Lightning Bug was Responsive and gave me options that was fair. Cale and Cash did a great job. Was attentive towards my needs and concerns. They took the time out to address any questions I had. Looked out for any items that may a concern or not in code. I appreciate Steve coming in doing a QA check.

Conversation Steve had was constructive with the workers, demonstrated an atmosphere of openness and education between upper management and line workers. I asked another company for a quote for my project (2 bathroom fans and an outlet installation) and was told it would be 4 grand. That didn't feel right. Thank goodness I called lightning bug! The estimate was a little over a quarter of that price and he was conscientious of my budget as he made the few necessary adaptations. Jeremy was such a dream to work with. Exceptionally professional and kind.

Both Justin and Gabe were an absolute joy to work with. They are professional, courteous, prompt, and incredibly knowledgeable. We've worked with other vendors in the past, but Lightening Bug really took the time to explain what was needed (and not needed), and why. We had recess lighting installed in two rooms, along with a new circuit panel and outlet upgrade.

I couldn't be happier with the entire experience from start to finish. We will be using them again for some minor projects in the future, but I feel so good knowing that we trusted them with the "heart" of our home as well. Very highly recommended!

Lightning bug electric was great to work with! From the initial service scheduling, to the estimate, and completion of the work, it was an all around great job. Communication from all parties (office schedulers and technicians) was prompt - they always reached out to you first and ensured nothing fell through the cracks. Our technicians were Steven and Samuel and both did an excellent job getting all of the work done within the day (replacing an electrical panel and installing a new outlet for a dryer). Couldn't be happier and will definitely use lightning bug for future electrical work.

Cale installed ring security cameras on my patio and over my garage. The install was fast and the cost was reasonable. He's very knowledgeable about wiring and I feel extremely confident with the work. My street was getting paved and I offered to reschedule but Cale just carried his ladder and all his tools from the next street over. We bought a home that had major renovation prior to 1997. We hired Lightening Bug to restore connection to a flood light and install an additional gfi outlet to the exterior of our home. Our electrician James discovered several major non code deficiencies in the previous construction. He showed us evidence of the deficiency - which was actually dangerous - and gave us a fair and reasonable solution. Lightning bug not only solved our problem, but protected my family. My first experience with this company. Their office communicated well, and their technician came early and called ahead to make sure this was okay. The tech, Justin, was very good. He was professional, looked at the work, and provided good recommendations. He diagnosed the issues quickly and efficiently. I reached out to them because I knew the house I purchased the electrical panel was not right. I spoke to Tim who was very knowledgeable and explained how my breaker panel and sub panel were not to code based on a picture. He proceeded to provide me a quote without coming to my home. They were reasonable compared to GC quotes I had already received.

The kicker is not the price but the level of service received. I was not at home for the replacement of the breaker panel but the amount of communication I received it was almost as if I was there. Steven was polite, professional, punctual, and thorough. The job was quite large and he was there 12+hrs until the job was finished. The panels went from looking like a fire hazard to an organized and neat work of art.

On this day They not only earned my trust but a customer that WILL not use anyone else because of the level of service and professional work they perform. I HIGHLY recommend Lightning Bug Electric!

Very professional. Was right on time and worked practically the whole day to resolve our issues. Got all new breakers installed and up to code. Have used them in the past as well and have had a great experience every time. Went from having Internet cut out because of a faulty breaker and outlets in the home not working tripping the breaker to everything working great now! Thanks Lightning Bug!

We "lost a leg." That is the term that Georgia Power used. We had power in 20% of our house but not the rest. Our AC was part of the 80% that wasn't working. I called two electrical companies that handle the Marietta, GA area. I called Lighting Bug, and Mister Sparky around 7:30 am. After calling them both and getting the person who takes your information and gets you on the schedule, both said they would show up on the same day, but give me a call before they came.

I figured whichever one came first was the one I would use. Tim from Lighting Bug, the owner of the Lighting Bug, called me for details. Tim told me to call Georgia Power and make sure it isn't on their end. Which means it is free if it was Georgia Power's issue. That meant a lot. I didn't even think about calling GP since it was only my issue and not the neighborhood. Mr. Sparky called and confirmed they were coming.

I called Lighting Bug and got Tim. I told him I already had someone coming out. Tim said to take pictures of the electrical panel and contact him if I have any issues with Mr. Sparky. Mr. Sparky showed up around 4 pm. Their quote was $15,000! No joke! I sent them away and called Tim. He said the price would be $2,792 and that included everything, and they could get me on the schedule the next day.

I did have to sign a quote agreeing on the price that evening. Sure enough, the following day, Steven from Lighting Bug arrived. They called first and sent me a text. Steven finished at 7 pm. He started around 10 am. He worked straight through, and now I have electricity and an excellent electrical panel. Steven was great! I've added two before pictures - notice the corrasion on the old panel, and a two after pictures. Notice the labels inside the panel.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Fantastic from the first call to work completion. Our H.O.A. wanted lighting installed at the entrance of our development and the job to be turn key. Each employee was on time, from Tim looking at scope of work to Lee and Steven doing the site work through job completion.

Last week a dump truck caught our main power line and tore the entire main power line and meter off the side wall of our garage. This happened around 1:30 pm. First thought was no power at least until the next day.

We recently purchased a home and unfortunately there was a lot more electrical work that needed to be done than what we realized at the time of the home inspection. I initially called lightning bug based on the reviews I found online and I can honestly say we were not disappointed in the services we received.

We used Lightning Bug Electric for our kitchen pendent lights. They were very professional on giving us the quote and also doing the job. The quote was very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. We also had to reschedule the appointment the day of and they were very understanding. We would definitely use them again.

These guys were great! Very friendly on the phone and were able to come to the house in a couple of hours. The tech was very honest and even though it ended up costing quite a bit (for a whole new breaker panel) I could tell he wasn't just trying take me for a ride. Absolutely no sales pitch at all. We hired Lightning Bug Electric to install a ceiling fan. When Leo removed the old fan, he noted the original box was plastic and not up-to-code. He said Company policy would not let him install the new fan unless we had a metal box that was within code.
