Kirk was awesome. Super fast and very professional. Had my vehicle unlocked and 2 new keys with working fobs ready to go in less than 10 minutes. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone that is locked out or is needing new keys cut.

Both screen door lock and front door dead bolt froze and would not work. Called a different company and they recommended Advanced L&K. Called them up, gave my issues and within an hour my doors were fixed. Professional, friendly, good marks on customer service. The cost was reasonable and expected. Top score from me - a 5 star experience!

I never give five stars - never. Went to Advanced Lock & Key this morning to get a battery for my car lock and David took care of this for me. Just want to say he gave me great, quick service. These guys gave me a time they were going to arrive (30 minutes later), got there exactly at that time (to the minute), and had me taken care of in moments. When the job was easier than anticipated, they cut the quoted price in half. Skilled, honest, and fast; who could ask for more?

Submitted a request for service. They contacted me immediately. They scheduled a technician who contacted me also. Technician arrived ahead of schedule and with all needed supplies to rekey the house and install a new Digital lock. Technician was fast, efficient and installed locks with great craftmanship. Too include realigning deadbolts. After installs, technician reviewed the Digital lock instructions to insure I was able to program the lock. I highly recommend their service.

Got a key copied here today and had no issues! They have a wide variety of blanks and tons of car keys (even fobs). The owner answers the phone and he is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

I highly recommend Advanced Lock & Key. I lost one of the two keys for my 2010 Mustang, and the Ford dealer's price for a new key was outrageous. I stopped by Advanced, and David quickly cut me a new key and programmed it for my Mustang, and it cost me less than half of what the dealer wanted. David also helped me select a fob for my 2005 Escape and showed me how to program it when I got home, which I was able to do easily. I could not be happier with Advanced Lock & Key.

Update: changing to 5 stars. They kindly fixed the key cover problem and helped me out with reprogramming the lost key in just a few minutes. I will definitely be using them for any key/lock needs I have in the future. If it weren't for one little mishap, that's turned into kind of a headache, I'd give these guys 5 stars. Response time was great, they were more than willing to handle my situation and make me a new key. Prices were fair, and the employees I encountered were really nice and knowledgeable.

I can't give full stars because the keyhole cover that attaches to my door handle was carelessly left on the roof of my car. I didn't catch this until I left the shop (after driving there from the location of my car because of a "bad key" - understandable, it happens.probably out of his control. I was okay with it, 15 min drive no big deal). Anyway, it fell off at some point in my drive so I retraced my path, back to the original location of my car and to the shop again, 3 kids in tow, no luck. Got back to the shop, and he admittedly left it on top of the car.

I say no worries, I can probably get one easy off Amazon. Except you can't, and it doesn't come pre painted so I have to figure out how I'm supposed to get that done too. But other than that, very enjoyable experience!

I am so impressed with Kirk and his company. Our family took a road trip from Seattle to Salt Lake City and realized a few hours in that we had forgotten the key to our car cargo topper. I reached out on Yelp to locksmiths in the Boise area and was directed to Advanced Lock and Key by two of their competitors who were unable to help us on a Sunday.

That alone says a lot! I gave Kirk a call and he was friendly and helpful, asking me to call him when we were 30 minutes outside of Boise so he could meet us at his shop. We did that and had two brand new, working keys for our topper in under 20 minutes. I absolutely recommend this business. They were friendly, fast, and low priced.

Michael from Advanced Lock and Key solved two different problems on each of our (my wife's and my) cars today. His skill and technical knowledge are very impressive and if that's not enough he's an unusually nice person. My wife and I really appreciate Advanced Lock and Key--nice going, Michael (and Kirk!)

These are my go-to guys for any keys I need to have made. Barrel locks, laser cuts, etc. I've not found one they can't make yet. My last key had an issue when I went to use it. I think it ended up being partly due to the age of the car and gunk in the ignition slot/mechanism. Michael was awesome. He came out quickly and and resolved the problem such that even my original key worked better than it had prior. Also, he took the time to explain to me how these things work. (I'm an engineer and was curious). Definitely the guys to call and use for any lock/key issues.

I contacted "Advanced" about a new key fob for my Land Rover. Was told "Yep, we can program that." I said I already had a "blank" fob, be he said he only programs those he orders. $200 (vs $25) but. Fine. And $80 to program it. Okay. "I can have that for you Tuesday." Okay, let's do that. Heard nothing. I called later in the week, he said "mail gets here at 2.' Nothing. Called a week later.

And then a.week later, and then a week LATER. Finally, I said "Hey, do you think you could order that with a guaranteed delivery date?" Crickets. So. After waiting for six weeks for the firstavaikable appointment, I am sitting at the dealership while a new fob is being programmed for the same three hundred bucks or so. So "Advanced, " if that fob ever does show up in the 2 o'clock mail, you know what you can do with it. P.S. The cause of this issue comes down to a "you can't replace it" $6 lithium coin batter, so the whole thing is essentially extortion. Great vehicle, ridiculous fob design.

I never wrote a message for any business no matter what. But this one TRULY deserves one. I lost my key while travelling where my car was left at the Boise Int. Airport. It happened that my travel was 3 days before Thanksgiving. I called both Nissan Dealers in Boise for a key and both said it would take several days and just the key costs $45. Making the key would take anywhere between $100 to $300.

I ended up leaving my car at the airport for a week and the Dealer ordered the key did not call me before Thanksgiving. After Thanksgiving, I went back to Boise and it took me hours just to find the place where my new ordered key is at. Then when I did find the key, the service told me they cannot do it right away. So, I went to another Nissan Dealer where I towed my care to their location and after they tried to program the key, they could not.

After they could not, the guy told me "there is a locksmith guy who can do it" and strangely enough I asked him, why did you not tell me about it earlier where I was waiting for hours. I called the guy they asked me to and sure enough the guy came within 10 minutes and made me 2 keys in 15 minutes for a fraction of what the Dealers charging. Plus, he was very truly nice man.

If I had known this, I would have saved at least $600. What's amazing is that eh can come to your place/car where you don't have to tow, it. If I live in Boise or nearby, I would keep this guy's info in my wallet/phone and give it to anyone who may loses his/her car key w/o spare one.

Lightning fast service! Called in to see if they could replace my 2011 Lexus RX450h fob and was told that if I brought it in, they could take care of it in 15 minutes. Well, I brought my car in the next day and they weren't joking. They had me up and running in 15 minutes (if that). They were cheaper than Peterson Lexus by over $100 and didn't require an appointment.

Kurt was AMAZING and was able to help us solve an intimidating, late-night problem (keys to house AND car left in Colorado!) within 25 MINUTES. The relief was tangible to have a SOLUTION (keys made), not just an unlocked house/car. I've dealt with locksmith companies across the United States, there is no one better nor more trustworthy!

I locked my Keyes out of my car tonight. On a Saturday night at 7 they sent someone out right away, j was expecting a huge fee and they were so cheap and friendly! I will never use anyone else or recommend anyone else. Great service and the experience was so quick and seamless. Thank you!

I had an amazing experience with advanced lock and key. I had my keys stolen and I needed new key fobs made. I called the dealership and was quoted an outrageous price. They sent me to advanced lock and key and it saved me a ton of money. In addition, they came to my house and did it quickly and efficiently and they were kind to work with. I highly recommend.

A couple of nights ago when it was pouring pretty good, I ran into the neighborhood Walmart for a few things before it got too late. When I got back to my car I realized in my rush I had locked my keys in the car. A couple of well meaning citizens tried to help but to no avail. Then Jack from Advanced Lock & Key, strolled up and said, "Here I am to save the day!" No not really, but pretty much that's what I heard.

The battery in my hand safe died, and I couldn't find the backup key. Advance lock and key helped me get it open quickly, and was able to make me a replacement key. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing help. Will definitely use them again whenever the need arises.

Sean answered the phone this morning and was polite and professional and answered my questions and came out the same afternoon to do the job. He sent me a message to advise of his arrival time. He was prompt and performed the work he said he would do in a timely manner. If you're seeking a Locke with with experience and integrity, this is the man.

What a terrific experience during a very stressful situation! That big wind storm Saturday evening (9/18), had my patio door slam closed behind me. I was without an emergency key, barefoot, no cell phone AND had to go to an unknown neighbor for help! They let me in. and use their phone - I just hit Google and called the 1st name that came up! Advanced Lock and Key to the rescue! In 30 minutes I was back inside AND had an extra key ready for any future mishaps. Very professional and courteous and kind! Thanks SO much. That was epic!

I arrived with the the single worn out key for my Sonata. After a little research, they located the correct replacement, cut the key and programmed it for the car. Both the keys I walked away with work great, and I no longer worry about losing the only key I had.

The guy showed up in a random car so immediately I didn't feel safe. He was late and it took him so long to unlock my door. Then after I was already in a rush he took so long to do everything and wasn't prepared to take my payment so I had to wait on him. Overall terrible experience will not use this company again.

Kirk Ciccarello went out of his way to make a service call to me the other day to fix my car that had been broken by another shop. He was supposed to be ending his shift soon and was nice enough to stop by and help me out first. My car wouldn't start until he fixed my MyKey Ford issue. I am grateful and highly recommend!

They had the key, prompt service, etc. but the young man that waited on me did not wear a mask. Didn't feel real comfortable in a small store with that situation.

UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE- Im very confused by all the positive reviews. Maybe they didn't work with the same guy we had to deal with. We got a new car and the locksmith place we went to for our previous car was closed so we found Advanced lock & key online and it looked promising because of the good reviews. BOY WERE WE WRONG. The key that the guy copied would not work- so he was using the palm of his hand to try to punch it in. WHEN OBVIOUSLY IT WASN'T FITTING.

I was in the car being physically rattled by how hard he was punching my car. I was taking a video of the car for my friends and it is CRAZY how loud the punching was in the background. We have been to several lock smiths before and NEVER had them try to punch the key in. My dad is the most polite and soft spoken person and like any rational human being was worried about the force he was using on our new car when clearly the key wasn't right. and the lock smith had the AUDACITY to say to him " Bro you're getting on my nerves- I've been doing this for 30 years". Now, I have worked in the customer service industry and know when a customer is crossing the line.

My dad was in NO WAY crossing the line or even raising his voice to match the lock smith's loud and aggressive tone. and if you have been doing this for 30 years, why can't you figure out how to copy the key? He went back and forth 4 times to try to modify the key that wasn't working and each time he would come back and try to punch it in again.

We kept trying to leave and he kept saying he's going to try again that he has experience and that he can get it. We we tired of his rude and unprofessionalism behavior- we grabbed our key from him and left.

Managed to lose the keys on a car I had in storage. He came to the facility at the appointed time, and worked quickly and efficiently and generated a new set of keys. Can't say enough about the service - quick and the price was reasonable.

Needed a couple of new style Kwikset key barrels reversed and it was done in 5 minutes for a minimum charge. Friendly and knowledgeable! FYI every repair person that comes to your house will charge a service fee. That is how a business stays afloat. Travel time, gas, and insurance are not free so don't let a 2 star review keep you away. These guys are awesome!

Advanced Lock & Key (Shawn) did an awesome job with our home project. I had placed a call to the main number from their website and Kirk called me back promptly. He gave me a quote for the work I asked to be done and assigned the project to Shawn to come out within two days of my call. Shawn came out on time and ready to start the project. After a good discussion on what we wanted to achieve, Shawn made some suggestions that accomplished the same goal for less cost. Shawn has over 20 years of experience for the services we wanted done so we went with his suggestions.

We had new locks installed and had our existing locks re-keyed to the new locks. Shawn was great. He has the knowledge, skills, work ethic, and all the tools to get the job done right. Shawn did all the work for the amount as quoted, on time, and as we had discussed before he started. This is how it's supposed to be done, and I'm very pleased with my decision to go with Advanced Lock & Key. I will definitely call them again as service(s) are needed, and I will request Shawn again.

Beware of Advanced Lock & Key in boise. This people are so shady, the said they could remove a broken key from my car's door and instead they pushed the lock all the way in to the door, leaving a hole! We tried to work with them since Sunday, even agreed to pay them $100 to fix it, since they said the only way was to remove the door, and that they were giving us a discount.

They said they would stop by my place on Sunday to fix it, then they said it was snowing and that they needed daylight. Fine, then he asked us to drop the car today, fine, I took time off of work and dropped the car. He said it would be ready by 6 pm. We called at 5:30 to check on the car, and we were told they hadn't even started working on it!

But he said he will call us back once ready. He finally called us about 6:40 this evening saying he can't do it now because it's too dark. I told them this was unacceptable and maybe we could renegotiate the price since I've waisted time off from work, and will be without a car tomorrow. They guy lost it, and started yelling on the phone and hang up!

I called back and he said he wouldn't talk to me, all this while he still has my car! I called again and he said to come get my car and left my keys on my front tire. Horrible business. Please save your money and go else where.

Advanced just cam to my house on a Sunday night at 5:30 to get my door unlocked. They had me in in 10 minutes and only charged me $59 After hours on a Sunday. These guys are awesome. Thanks. Highly recommended.

I used this service recently to change my locks on my home and must say I did not feel that I could recommend this place. I was quoted one price on the phone and was not told there was a service fee (which was 45.00) and they charge additional in Eagle. While the technician who came out was friendly and we did get more locks than we anticipated which is a separate charge from the service fee I was left with a bad taste in my mouth.

The service fee was substantial, and when I called to discuss it they said, oh that is just part of the overall amount and did nothing to address my concern. I don't know about you, but 45.00 is quite a surprise!

A great team that saved our bacon! Lifesavers! Advanced Lock and Key is made up of a wife and husband team that saved our day! On a Sunday no less when the car dealer and rental company could not help. We accidentally locked our keys in the trunk of a 2019 car with a tight security system. We had our luggage in the rental car trunk and had a tight timeline to get to the airport.

They initially thought they would have to cut a high dollar value key to get access to the trunk. The car's security system would not allow access without key or FOB which were in the trunk. They arrived to our location faster than estimated and had researched the issue. They had an alternative and creative solution to get in the trunk. They sprung into action immediately and had the trunk open in minutes.

This is the company to call when you have a key issue. My husband lost his car key (don't ask) and we needed a replacement. The dealership wanted $300+ to replace it. We called the key guy and he was at our house in an hour and we spent about $100 for two keys and a key fob. If I could give 6 stars I would. Great service, quick service, and super affordable.

We searched everywhere to get our key fobs reprogrammed and keys done after getting a car with none. Dealer prices and times to get it done were $150+ and three hours. Even after ordering keys and fobs online - everyone quoted outrageous prices.
