This company provided me with replacement windows and windows/doors for a new area of construction when I remodeled my house. The whole team is very professional and trustworthy from sales to installation to service. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone who wanted a good reference.

Michael and his crew are total professionals. The product is of high quality and the details in the installation really raise the bar. Working with the company has really spoiled me.

Custom Windows is a company you can trust. It has been a 1.5 years since we had our windows changed, and the windows are doing great. They are very responsive and if we ever have any questions or issues that might pertain to the windows, they will come out with a crew immediately and help us get the problem fixed. Many contractors will dissappear after a work is done, but they do not. You are a client for life. I really respect this company and I wish there were more like them in Houston.

So upset with my windows and doors. I've had so many issues with my product and they tell me deal with manufacturer. Every time I'm in need of a replacement part it's a month wait. Service guy comes out and then he doesn't finish the job then another month. This company does not take care of customers at all. I have no choice but to pay out of my own pocket to repair and replace brand new windows and doors. What a joke

Though we like our doors and windows I feel like we paid for an OK product. A professional installer shouldn't include HS kids for help. We had issues with a casement that was recommended for safety reasons. After a quick fix from the installer we still had noise issues. The owner just said to call the manufacturer to get it fixed.

I've had a really positive experience with their customer service. They were knowledgeable, friendly, fast, and helpful. Thank you again!

We replaced all of our 70's windows total of 11 with custom made windows last year with Custom Window's, it has been the very best upgrade for our house. We have seen and feel a tremendous improvement energy wise and the the windows just look perfect. We shopped around but decided with this company for the following reasons: 1. The price was right.

Sure there are cheaper foreign imports and also the super expensive fancy brochure window companies, the price from Custom Windows was perfect for what we were looking for and for our budget. 2. All the windows are made in Texas, we felt it was very VERY important for the quality of the product and to support local business. 3. While we wanted to replace the original aluminum frame single pane windows, we really wanted to keep the beauty of the slim line design of the frame.

With all the product and price point we looked at, Custom Windows offered the best slim line designed vinyl frame. 4. Todd the sales person was very throughout and answered all our question and concerns, we highly recommend him!

It's about 35° outside now. I used to have to have to wear a heavy fleece pullover to keep warm while sitting and working at the dining room table. Now, I'm comfortable in a long sleeve shirt. What a difference these windows make! We just received our electric bill for May. Compared to the same period last year, our average daily usage (kWh) is down more than 13%!

On July 26 Custom Windows of Houston (Michael Shoemaker 713-864-2747) completed the replacement of all 15 windows in my home. To say it was a first class job is an understatement. From beginning to ending everything happened exactly as I was told it would happen. They met the install date of 4-6 weeks from date order was firmed up. I even got to select the days for installation.

After placing the order, my primary interaction was with Angie. She handled all my questions/request cheerfully, professionally and accurately. The installers (Jaime + 1 helper) did a first class job with minimal time having the house open to outside air (95 & 97 degrees). As promised, when they drove away, I had nothing to do in the way of caulking or touch-up of paint. Amazingly, the price was in line with my 40+ year old home.

They did not try to put "Lamborghini" windows in my "Chevrolet" house. The initial price quoted was totally acceptable without having to "haggle". I gave the salesman ((Todd Dimmitt) my criteria: Remove the "storm windows" and replace with hollow glass windows, windows that look like they belong in this house, significantly reduce the sun-glare and reduce my energy consumption.

The first three have been met. Due to abnormally high activity in the house since installation, I cannot fully know that any energy savings has been realized. I do know that with the thermostat on 72 the A/C does shut off - even on the 100 degree day we had on July 29. I am a happy customer. If you need new windows for your home, you cannot go wrong with "Custom Windows of Houston"

Windows installed by a very professional crew. The installation was supposed to take 5 days and they completed in 3. The windows make the house look new. The cost was reasonable. We are very pleased.

My house was built in the 50s and I had been wanting new windows for better energy efficiency and security. I got estimates from four different companies before deciding to go with Custom Windows, and boy, am I glad I did. I knew that I wanted dark brown, "low profile" windows so that they would look as close to the width of the thin, original aluminum windows as possible.

I also wanted to make sure the grid pattern was the same as the originals - all horizontal (no french panes or craftsman style). And Custom Windows was able to do exactly that at a fraction of the cost of the other companies. Jaime and Alex installed my windows and I can't say enough good things about them. They were so amicable and professional, and they even greeted my dogs and played with them!

They got all my windows installed in one day and not one speck of dust or debris to be found. After everything was done, I went to my front lawn to look at my house and it was nothing short of STUNNING! Wow. What an amazing difference they made to my house. All I wanted to do was sit in a lawn chair facing my house and stare at my windows. I want to thank everyone at Custom Windows for such great customer service, professionalism, and having a great product. I couldn't be happier.

From sales to install the service was excellent. Sales person was not pushy. He explained everything in great detail, answered all of our follow up questions. Clearly confident in the product and the team. The install team showed up on time. Even though it was raining they kept my house clean as possible and completed the install on time. The windows are exactly what I was expecting. I'm ready for the Texas summer sun!

Honest and professional estimate. Showed us the product prior to buying. Installation went smooth. Took care of a few issues with the window openings that came up during installation. We are extremely pleased with the product and installation. Price was extremely reasonable compared to other companies in the area.

Excellent customer service from bid to installation. I tend to almost over-think my house projects since the results are so permanent. Todd was very flexible in working with me to arrive at the right solution for my home. Scheduling the installer for final measurements and then installation was only "OK" (he couldn't seem to understand that I needed more than 2 hours notice before he planned to drop by my house - I work). But if that's the worst that I have to report, then I consider this a great experience.

We are really really enjoying our windows. They are wonderful and really make a difference with these powerful winds we have had in the last week. And then we had sideways rain and thunderstorms the other night and I slept thru it. I didn't even know it had rained until I went outside. They are fantastic! Thank you again.

Custom Windows and their entire staff are very professional and consciences of all details. From measurements, production to installation, I couldn't have had a better experience. The windows are wonderful! They have a lower profile than some I see in the neighborhood, which means you get more glass and view than with other brands. My house backs up to an elementary school and the old builder grade windows let all the noise in from the playground. Today, I don't even know there are kids in the playground.

The windows were installed in less than a day and there was no mess left behind to clean up on our part. Great experience, I highly recommend Custom Windows. Shortly after our windows were installed, our neighbors started looking and also went with Custom Windows. all very satisfied.

Beautiful Windows! As an interior designer I wanted the best quality for our old home which we remodeled to have a more contemporary feel. I think our entire neighborhood has told us how much they like them! They are equally beautiful on the inside and very safe and easy to use. I have to say the crew that installed, I don't know, 30 windows or so, did them all in one day and I didn't have all scuff marks and only touch ups due to having the new Windows installed in different place in the frame. Amazing! Very good experience all around!

Unfortunately, I had a horizontal sliding window fabricated backwards from specification. I realized this after installing it. The window opened crooked since the tracks were on the wrong side (upside down).

The Custom Windows team did a first class job from measuring, explaining the options, giving us samples to decide with, and most importantly, references from other satisfied customers. The installation crew were as perfect as one could ask for in terms of a flawless installation, cleanup and leaving the house in as new condition.

Being a general contractor, i have used Custom Windows many, many times over the last 8 years. Always a pleasure to do business with them. Highly, highly recommend them. Great, innovative products and great sales.

Contacted by owner after his seeing original review. Promptly apologized and came out and repaired the window. Salesman I had been working with no longer with company. Am now happy with the windows and the service and can recommend this company for both their product and their service.
