This company is amazing at what it does. I had a few questions about my lawn. I was in contact with one of their estimators, Kenny. He was able to come over to my house promptly and we discovered one of the pipes from my sprinkler system was cracked and that was why my sprinkler system was not generating enough pressure to cover the entire lawn. We have scheduled in early spring for Action Lawn and Landscape LLC to come fix my sprinkler system at a fair price. Kenny was highly professional and friendly with me. I recommend this company to everyone in Northern Nevada.

If you hire this company know that if the are hired to care for your front yard and part of that is clean up, that the use blowers to blow all of the yard waste (leaves, cigarette butts, garbage) into your neighbors yard. Standard practice as they have done to me (the neighbor) for years. The only way they clean up after themselves is if neighbor (me) is standing out front watching them! I AM SICK OF IT! I am filling a complaint with the county and BBB today! I AM DONE! According to the BBB "this business IS NOT accredited with the BBB"

What you don't know until you work with this company is that the personal service and the desire to do the job right every single time no matter what it takes is the hallmark of Gladys and Annette and crew. I invite them to take pictures of my property and post them because My landscaping is not only the selling point of my home but it has been the location of many fantastic parties and family events. Critical: Punctuality 2 weeks for an estimate meeting. 4 weeks no estimate. Tried emails Tried calling. Said he would call back. Didn't say when. Still waiting. We wanted them to do our landscaping but they dont appear to want our business.

Sent an email to schedule to have someone come out to measure and to my surprise got back to me to schedule within that week which was nice. but when the day came, a guy came out took a look at my back yard and asked if he could come back the next day to take the measurements (supposedly was double booked). Its been a couple of weeks now and have yet to see him come back or even have the company try to reschedule something.

We had irrigation repair done by Action Lawn & Landscape. Their work was great and they were able to solve our problem. I would love to be able to give them 5 stars for their work. Their office staff were super helpful and gave answers easily. It is only 3 stars because of the customer service with the employee we worked with. He promised us quotes and completion of work and did not follow through without us messaging and calling.

In the end, we were without water for 24 hours with no prior notice and were expected to pay more than was on our original invoice. He said that we were "told" about the water being shut off and the additional fees. These were both communicated at the last second without any notice. Poor customer service on his part is why I am giving 3 stars and am not recommending this company to other people. -Written by Victoria Kenney

I have been using Saul and Action Lawn for all of my yard needs for 15+ years. Service has always been top notch, and prices reasonable. He does the spring "kickoff" every year with aerating, thatching, fertilizer, and getting the sprinklers tuned up. His crews are always professional, hardworking, and show up on time. Highly recommended.

Appointment booked with Adam, their 'Creative' Designer several weeks ago. He came and all he talked about was money. I was upfront from the beginning prior to the appointment what my budget is. but the entire conversation was about costs, cost to get the wheelbarrow through the gate, cost about every thing except the landscape! It was all he discussed with no ability to even share creative ways to approach the back yard - why, because he had no idea whatsoever.

Nothing creative about him at all, he doesn't have a clue what to do even with a number of suggestions on my part as to how the back yard might be transformed. Was promised a design with a quote in one week, nothing. Called two weeks later, was told Adam would get back to me that day - it has been another week with no follow up. Don't waste your time! No Creative, No Design, No Follow up, and all about the $$$$$$

Action Lawn Reno thank you for the awesome job done at our house. We really appreciate it, and recommend your work to our community! The difference can be seen on the before and after pictures.

In follow up with Action about replacing dead plants, it took extra complaints but they replaced 8 plants. Today, after 2 weeks of trying to locate why several plants aren't getting water, we discovered many leaks, failed zonal location and the burying of old drip system without disconnection.whoa is us to undo the redo of the initial do. Three times the work. Calls to Action don't precipitate a call back.

The Action Lawn and Landscape crew just completed the end-season cleanup of my yard and did a fantastic job. The landscape looks tidy and well-groomed as we head into winter - I am very pleased. This is no surprise though because the crew has consistently provided exceptional service in maintaining my property. A special thanks to Evette Macias who has always been friendly, responsive and highly professional in our interaction.

She is an excellent ambassador for her company and Action Lawn and Landscape is fortunate to have her as Maintenance Manager. The service has been excellent over the past three years and I look forward to the new season.

Working with Joe Blackham at Action Lawn and Landscape was an amazing experience. His excellent customer service was above and beyond. His knowledge of trees, shrubs, perennials that thrive in our climate (Reno, NV) was terrific. Action Lawn & Landscape worked from our landscape architect's blueprints and nailed every detail. The crew installing the landscaping were well qualified, hard working, professional and very polite. Joe told us our project would take about one week to complete and it was done in one week!

We are extremely happy with the finished product and highly recommend Action Lawn and Landscape for your home. We plan to enjoy our backyard for a very long time. One last note; in the building boom that is happening in Reno right now, getting trees, shrubs, etc., was very challenging. Joe went the extra mile to secure what our plans specified, even though it wasn't easy.

They did an excellent job. I asked them to give my yard some extra attention and they did.

Just called for snow removal. Lady tells me that you have to be an existing customer to get snow removal services. Wow.

Worst Landscaping company I have ever dealt with. Signed up for weekly mowing and an irrigation turn on for a rental property. It took Over a week to get a call back. When they came out to perform the "Irrigation turn on" I got a call from the tennant stating they had no water in the house, so I had to go out and turn the house water back on. After 2 months of mowing I got an email from them stating that the grass was dry and I might want to check the watering time, at this point I found that they never even turned the sprinkler system on from the garage.

Once that was done one of the main valves was broken no doubt due to their incompetence. They then refuses to pay for the $1000 repair to the broken irrigation valve after I left 3 message asking for a response over a 2 week period. Terrible company choose someone else.

One of the most challenging aspects of becoming a new home owner is figuring out what to do with the back yard! From start to finish our experience with Action was beyond our greatest expectations. Jacob arrived on time to consult with us on what we wanted for our yard. With the general concept I provided he spent at least an hour drawing up what would become our perfect yard.

His estimate was drawn up promptly and in great detail. It was emailed to us so we could review all the plans and make any desired changes. There was no pressure to start until we were ready. When we were finally prepared to go forward Jacob got us scheduled faster than I expected. His workers were friendly and extremely professional. The work was completed quickly and when they left you'd never have known they were there!

Everything was cleaned up perfectly. Jacob walked is through the changes and explained all the plants. He programmed our watering system for peak efficiency and went over that with us as well. Combined with this amazing service is a true friendliness and small town attitude. They even sent the sweetest thank you card that was signed by all the workers. You simply can't beat Action if you need landscaping services!

Saul Yesterday, your men came and removed three trees and planted a replacement tree. These men have done work on my property many times. I just wanted to tell you that they are excellent workers. They are quick about what they do, and they do it very well. They move right along being very efficient. They did a super job in removing and replacing the tree, and in cleaning up.

I'll give you guys 5 stars, this was a complicated project, you guys did an awesome job, Thank you very much to all of you.

My review is for a designer/estimator Jacob Hunter. He is professional, talented and nice to work with. He provided a very detailed ( one of the most detailed estimate, the amounts were stated with the precision to cents) for my backyard on the 2 nd day after the initial meeting. Moreover, he provided a visual and beautiful picture along with the proposal.

I appreciated his time and efforts. We tried three different options in order to make it affordable. I would highly recommend him as your designer. Unfortunately, I wasn't be able to afford Action Lawn & Landscape proposals since their construction crew prices were way above the proposals of other companies.

100% pleased with Action. They do what they say, the do it quickly and they completed my job to exactly how I wanted it. They are the greatest.

They operate like your cable installer. Their appointment model is, "We can be there sometime Friday, but we won't tell you when, so you'll have to sit at home all day until it is convenient for us to stop by. And we won't give you any general times and don't accept specific appointments". Sorry, but no thank you.

Fantastic! I called with a water leakage emergency and they came out, dug up my system, and found that the source of my $500/mo water bill was and old busted pipe that the former landscape company just never bothered to look hard enough to find! They were thorough and tested the system at each phase to ensure it all worked. I also love that they have a program that goes over everything you are going to need throughout the season, add it up, and apportion the payments out so your monthly payment is the same every time! No more surprises, just awesome green lawn! Knowledgable, honest, and with rock star customer service! Highly recommend!

We currently use Action Lawn and Landscape for our Luxury Apartment Community. Their crews are very friendly, efficient, and pay close attention to detail. The General Manager Saul is easy to contact and is always very responsive if you have any questions or concerns.

We purchased a new construction home in March 2013 and wanted our backyard finished by Memorial Day. Several contractors came out to give us ideas and estimates (too many for me to remember). Action Lawn and Landscape had the owner Saul come out to do the estimate.
