Because of their vast knowledge and experience, they were able to foresee things we never would have and truly put themselves in our shoes and built with all the professionalism and personal touch one could possibly hope for. They utilize the best of suppliers and subcontractors and hold them all to the same highest of standards. While we expected to be blindsided by at least some things given that we were building in the midst of the covid craziness (supply chain issues and inflationary prices), there were really very few surprises, most of which were very minor and certainly none that were insurmountable. Nathan & Danika were always upfront and transparent in communicating any situation that arose, their proposed solutions and would clearly lay out our options. Nathan crosses every "t" and dots every "i" when it comes to buttoning down the budget well ahead of even breaking ground and they really stick to it!

If anything even looks like it has the potential to deviate slightly from the plan, they are early to communicate about it and come up with all sorts of ideas to mitigate it. We were also pleasantly surprised by how easy they made the decision making process for all the interior and exterior finishes by giving us great options (but not too many as to become overwhelming) that fit within our style and budget.

You would be hard pressed to find more hardworking and busier people than Nathan & Danika, but you'd never know it by how they treat you. They always took time to answer any questions or re-explain things. We always felt like a priority to them rather than the pains that we probably were sometimes.;-) They even took extra time to make our young kids feel special and heard during the process, so much so that our kids were both happy and sad when the house was complete because they knew they wouldn't see "Uncle" Nathan and "Auntie" Danika as often anymore (and admittedly we were too!). We would use Cannon Custom Homes again in a heartbeat, without any hesitation or reservation.

1st and foremost we can not express how much we appreciated working with Nathan, Danika and Cannon Custom Homes on our new building project. While our home was smaller then there normal build, it was 100% custom. Fortunately we had discovered Cannon Properties several months earlier while looking at new homes and were impressed with the quality they offered. I love that Cannon Custom Homes is truly custom. I can choose any design, finish, colors, secret passage way and even a fireman pole if I want to. My creative options are endless. No limited lists of selections. The bonus is working with amazing people like Nathan and Danika.

We had Cannon Properties do a complete kitchen design and build on our home. The job was done quickly and according to our expectations. We had the kitchen cabinets custom made with lots of attention to detail. The finish I wanted was one of my biggest priorities and Nathan completed it above my expectations. The cabinets turned out beautiful and still are to this day.

We love our home. We really, really do! We wanted a home that we loved more than the one we had left in Texas and after months of looking for a new home and walking through many model homes we knew after we walked through the model built by Cannon Properties that we found the builder we wanted to build it for us.

On July 3, 2013, 85 to 90% of our 1973 Duplex house was destroyed by fire. It had to be demolished down to the studs. We were in dire need of a construction company who could successfully work with our mortgage company, insurance company's financial allowance and the city of Tulsa to rebuild our house in compliance with the current guidelines and codes.

After looking for several months, a friend recommended Nathan Forrester, the owner of Cannon Custom Homes, who specializes in new construction not rebuilding, but agreed to take on this difficult project. A few weeks before our scheduled move in date, a second fire occurred in the adjacent duplex causing major smoke damage to most of our new repairs. Tile work, dry wall, ceilings, furnace/AC system, insulation, etc. had to be ripped out, replaced, installed and painted for the second time.

As a result, our move in date was delayed an additional three months. During this entire project, Nathan and Danika continued to deliver professional and high quality service. They raised the bar to a higher level. Their attention to detail and quality workmanship never waivered even after the second fire. Not only did they build our house twice they were also a major source of encouragement to our family in getting us through the ordeal of a second fire.

Their knowledge and experience of working with various vendors was a valuable source in helping us decide which appliances home decorations, light fixtures, carpeting, tiles, black splash, color scheme etc. were appropriate for our house. Thanks to Nathan and Danika's professional work ethic, integrity, knowledge and honesty they were able to rebuild our house within the confines of the insurance company's tight budget to be in better condition than it was before the fires.

They built a brand new home.
