This is the second time I have had flooring done by James Shealey Flooring. Both times I was given good advice to help in my selection of materials. Scheduling was quick, as soon as product was available. The crew worked hard to get the job done with James on site and working side by side with them at times. Mr. James does great work at a reasonable price in a timely manner! I needed new flooring asap due to water damage. I called his office, scheduled a date to get an estimate, and work was completed not long after. I'm extremely pleased with the results and I would recommend him to anyone wanting new flooring. We purchased our first home years ago and after some research, found James Shealy to have good reviews and recommendations. We hired him to replace our all of the carpets in the home. He was quick, affordable, and did a great job. We even found a sharp nail or two on one of the boards securing the carpet and he was out the next day to address it to our satisfaction.

When we prepared to sell that same home, in 2021 we went straight back to James to have those carpets replaced. Once again, he provided us with prompt service, affordable options, and did a quality install on schedule. I'd recommend James to anyone looking for flooring services!

Great service from start (ordering) to finish (installation). James and his crew were very prompt and professional. James paid attention to details and kept me well informed. I had 800+ sq ft of luxury vinyl plank installed. Pricing was very reasonable too. I highly recommend him. They installed my flooring 12/21 & 12/22 so I would have it prior to Christmas. James Shealey is the best in the business! I have used him twice now, once for small repairs to my engineered hardwood flooring years ago, and now for complete flooring replacement with luxury vinyl planks. I can't express just how informative and helpful he has been. He has walked and guided me through every step of the way. Super honest, reasonable, and did the entire house in 2 days! My home looks like a page out of Southern Living magazine!

Hurricane Michael hit our home in the Port St. Joe area. It is a quiet area, that normally has few contractors, etc. After the hurricane- forget it. Good help was definitely hard to find, so I branched out, looked at some reviews on Yelp in Tallahassee, called at least five businesses and the ONLY one who was interested was James Shealey Flooring!

From beginning to end, the whole process took maybe two months- and that was working around the their issues with hurricane, winter holidays, two hours from their business and home! We felt the price was reasonable and competitive for what we were asking.
Floors look fantastic- just like they did new! So very pleased! Would highly recommend to anyone!

James Shealey helped us with our carpet selection as well as choosing the best padding for our home. He helped us with the removal of the old carpet and padding and then thoroughly cleaned the subfloor prior to installing the new padding and carpet. We couldn't be more pleased with the results!

James Shealey did a wonderful job installing laminate flooring in my home office, and finished up trim work that I needed done in my living room. He explained what he was going to do and gave me pricing up front. He was very professional and cleaned up when he was finished. I will definitely use him again!

James Shealey installed our walnut flooring in the family room, dinette, kitchen, dining room, living room and foyer. We get amazing comments from everyone that enters our home. Unfortunately we dropped a portable TV on the floor and put a big dent in it. But, James Shealey to the rescue. He was able to quickly replace the damaged area and you cannot tell we ever had a scratch.

James and his crew installed free floating snap-together vinyl planks in two of our rooms - roughly 400 square feet. James was cordial, punctual and easy to work with. He was extremely flexible during the install to accommodate our plumber removing and then later that day reinstalling a water heater in one of the rooms being floored.
