The installers Adam and Riley were professional and efficient. They took the time to explain the system and answered all questions. The process was very smooth and we are very satisfied with our service with On Point so far!

In mid-January 2022, we contacted the company and spoke with Matt. Then we sent Matt our detailed requirements document which began with the following objective: "Seeking the ultimate security and surveillance system using the best and latest start-of-the-art commercial grade components to fully replace existing SimpliSafe system." Matt quickly responded that his company could meet all of our requirements.

This was very encouraging, since we were seeking security system components covering every door and window including smart doorbell camera, smart keyless locks on all outside doors, motion detection, glass breakage detection along with recorded video surveillance of all areas of both floors, basement and all outside areas surrounding our home. Matt then scheduled a visit to review this extensive proposed system.

During the visit Matt carefully discussed each proposed security and video component along with their locations. A few days later we received detailed fixed price proposals for the security system and video surveillance system. After reviewing the proposals, we prepared a list of questions which Matt quickly responded with clear answers to each question.

Besides being extremely knowledgeable and responsive, Matt is also very friendly and courteous. At this point our experience with On Point Security & Video could not have been better. We agreed to proceed and provided the required deposits. Matt then scheduled our installation in late February. The installation team was led by Adam. They arrived on time and immediately went to work on installing the security system within just a couple of days. Adam carefully reviewed with us in advance the location of every component to ensure its best coverage and performance.

The security system was perfectly customized by Adam to meet every single need and wish. The security system started up without any issues and performed perfectly. The next week Adam and his assistant Riley returned for the installation of the video surveillance system. It involved the installation of 23 different cameras inside and out. Adam and Riley were meticulous in each installation step to ensure that no cabling was ever visible either in our home or even outside of it.

Given the complexity of this system, Adam was able to architect novel ways to route cables through the attic and basement to place cameras in their ideal locations. In addition to the cameras, the network video recorder (NVR) and related components were installed high on the wall in one of our master bedroom closets without adversely affecting its usefulness.

This also required directly wiring every camera to the NVR. Amazingly this was done without a single exposed wire throughout our home. Also, the installation involved connecting the NVR to a large monitor in the closet as well two of our two large flat screen TVs located at the other end of the house. Now we could review the images of all 23 cameras in 4K resolution on demand from three different locations. Also, we can review the recorded footage of each camera for the last three weeks.

This coupled with the ability to easily program a camera to recognize either human or vehicle and sent alerts on our smarts phones and small speakers in our home made us feel secure knowing that we would always be aware of anyone approaching our home day or night. Adam is a true expert of the implementation of both security and video surveillance systems. Coupled with his mastery of skills in design, implementation, and troubleshooting, he is a very pleasant and respectful person.

We could not be more pleased with the security and video surveillance systems that On Point Security & Video has engineered and built for us. Matt, Adam and Riley overcame every challenge and met every single (often challenging) requirement that we had to deliver exactly what was promised. In my opinion, this was one of finest companies that I have ever personally engaged in my 76 years. They have our highest recommendation.

No pressure sales, incredibly professional install, super patient and necessary tech walk-through, clear articulation of procedures, billing options, total transparency, and very pleasant folks to deal with. Matt spent 2 hours with me figuring out the best system for my needs, at the best price, and answering every question. I had the best experience with Adam and Matt from day 1. Matt came by and did a full overview of the products that they offer. He did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. Matt got to know me as a person and the things that were important to me as a homeowner. Also, the company is LOCAL, and that is another plus in my book. Adam came and did my install, and he was phenomenal. Adam was very polite, educated you on using the devices, and knew the products very well.

The prices are unbeatable! Overall, I had a great experience getting my home cameras and security system installed. I would recommend On Point, and I would give them 100 stars if they were available

The entire process from site survey, to proposal to installation and training was professional and the communication was very good.
