Built Right Fence

I knew from the first moment that we met John that we would hire him to build our fence. He is very honest and this is reflected in his work and pricing. I got a quote from a competitor and they were literally twice the price as Built Right Fence. Our fence was installed and it looks AMAZING! We could not be happier. I highly recommend Built Right Fence!

Very friendly, but unprofessional. I was told it would be 3 weeks until install, that turned into 9 weeks. We did not have 6 weeks of rain. I had to start all communications and they only actually started working on the fence after I started getting aggravated. They broke one of my trees and left wood pieces buried in some un mowed grass. When I called John (the owner) and complained about these things, he told me that it was my fault and asking the workers to clean up after themselves no the way it goes. The finished product is okay and the crew was friendly.

John and his crew did an absolutely amazing job with our privacy fence. They truly went above and beyond to make sure it was what we wanted but also made it look great in the process! John came out and did a free walk through to discuss all of our options and was able to get me a couple of different quotes for different designs. They were easy to work with and their pricing is fair and doesn't make you feel like you're being taken advantage of. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a fence.

John came out to the house and gave me a quote for a 6ft privacy fence. He was able to get me in as soon as possible as I needed a fenced yard for my dog. He messaged me to let me know when they would arrive and what was happening and they did a wonderful job installing and cleaning up. Would recommend John and his crew to everyone!

John worked with us for over a year through survey issues, multiple changes in layout/materials due to volatile market changes and never left us feeling we were on our own. Even after purchasing chain and having to wait 7mo for a survey to resolve a dispute he kept assuring us he would be there for us as soon as we were ready… and he was. Beyond that, when boundary issues were resolved, he volunteered to rework numbers because he knew my wife had her heart set on wood privacy fence from the start. Thankfully prices had fallen back into our budget and John assured us he would use the pre-purchased wire fencing on a future project. It was a gracious selfless offer that we were not expecting. Our fence is now complete and the workmanship and attention to detail is next to none. Thank you John and crew!

I contacted several companies to bid our fence project. John, from Built Right was quick to get back to me and the ONLY one to come to the build site to bid the project. He spent the time to listen to what we wanted done and the best way to do it. He was him my with the a couple of bids with different options to choose from. Just a few weeks later John came with his build team we went over the job again and it was decided by them of a couple changes to work best for our needs.

No change in the bid though. They set the posts that day and came back after the concrete set and had the fence done that day. Beautiful fence great gates. Our gates are big but very easy to operate. Cant say enough about this company Friendly, professional, and willing to work with you and answer any questions you may have. HIGHLY Recommended!

John and his crew were AWESOME! My husband and I met with John for the first time for consultation and I knew we were going to let him build our fence for our new inground pool. He was easy to work with, very detailed and has an awesome personality. They set up the first day and completed the job when they came back to finish my mother in law's wood fence.

Built Right Fence Co did an incredible job on our fence! John and his team were very professional, kind, and they went above and beyond what we expected! With extremely reasonable prices! They had our new fence built within 2-3 weeks, and done within the day they stated. They left absolutely no mess what so ever, and even helped us choose the best side to put our gate on. I highly recommend them!

We just moved out to the country and needed a fence ASAP due to the closing time frame on the home we sold. John was absolutely amazing! He came out earlier than I anticipated and was able to get the job done 2 weeks earlier than originally planned for. My dogs are super happy to not have to be on leashes anymore! The team did a GREAT job and I love the black chain link fence for our environment, it really looks fantastic!

At first I thought I made the right decision. The details of everything is just to much. The end result unfortunately is the Gates on one side of my house we're not what I spent time explaining to John. The whole reason for replacing was to get what I explained in email and in person to John. I should have not paid the second half until the job was done as requested and as said it would be.

It all came down to a picture and paper I signed and still don't understand based on what it shows. I have 2 very nice gates. One not to size, doesn't latch easily, I cleaned up all the mess and had to dump it between my shed and fence, and there is a nail in the siding of my house that matches the nails used on the gates leaving a 3 1/2 rip in the siding.

I even offered to pay for the materials to redo the gate that was wrong. He quoted me a dollar amount for materials and the labor. I really read John wrong as he is not willing to be accountable for anything. Shoot I originally wanted metal posts based on the size and he as the professional said he could give me what I wanted and save me money using 6x6 posts to only find out that was a lie after they installed the wrong size gates.

Now I'm stuck with the siding repair because I didn't agree to pay for the labor to fix was was wrong. Incredible how a 38 minute conversation with someone that showed up 25 minutes late to the appointment could go so wrong. I know the customer may not always be right but in this case I'm left holding the bag as this customer no longer skaters to Built Right Fence. My in-laws were going to replace their corner lot fence and I know they will not be using Built Right after this.

John and his crew were great! I needed part of my privacy fence replaced. John was fast to set up and give an estimate. Very honest and straightforward about time frame with all of the rain. He kept in touch to let me know how things were moving and where we were in line. There was a little delay due to rain but they were quick to get the job finished. The crew was very respectful of our property as well as neighbors and cleaned up well! Would definitely use them again!

John (the owner) and his crew did amazing work for me. I had a good deal of interaction with him, and he was professional, friendly, responsive, and incredibly customer-focused. Everything he promised was done to a T. His crew was also very kind and hard-working. We had steel-framed gates installed, and they did amazing work with these, which is not very easy to do. Oh, and also worth noting is how fast they were to get the work finished.

Even in the midst of the pandemic and stimulus checks, when a lot of companies are booked for months, they fit us in within a few weeks. If you want an honest and enjoyable customer experience, with confidence that you’re getting a fair price and a great product, go with Built Right!

We had a great experience with John and his crew! They left our yard clean and picked up all their trash to be hauled away. They were all very kind and took great care of us!

Same experience as the other poster here. Paid for a double gate with the fence. John assured me it would be stout as stout could be. 2 days after install I notice it is badly warped and with 3 months the gate is twisting the whole fence. 4 months in and i have newest and worst looking fence in the neighborhood. John refuses to answer texts or calls from me except one offering to redo the gate for another $350. This place should be starved out of business.

What a great experience. John showed up with he's business license, insurance and 10 references with pictures. He was very thorough about the estimate he gave. He gave me choices on how to get the job done and the different materials for the job. The fence went up fast and is straight as a board.
