Anderson Engineering provides civil engineering and surveying services, including planning, civil/site design, GIS services, Phase I environmental site assessments, municipal street and sewer design, wastewater treatment, storm water drainage and detention analysis and design, boundary/topographic surveys, cadastral, ALTA, GPS and control surveys, drilling services (including geotechnical investigations and environmental sampling and monitoring well installation), construction materials testing and field construction monitoring.

These services are provided for architects, engineers, contractors, private developers, institutions, local, state and federal governmental agencies and include projects such as municipal facilities and infrastructure, commercial developments, various buildings, airports, roads, intersections, signalization, highways, railroads, storm water detention, wastewater treatment systems, industrial park developments and residential subdivisions.

Geotechnical

Anderson Engineering was the first firm in the area to provide geotechnical engineering services, beginning in the mid-1960s. In order to meet the increasing demands for geotechnical services in the rapidly growing southwest Missouri area, we purchased a CME 55 truck-mounted drill rig in 1978.

Construction

Report

A need became very apparent in the 1960s in the southwest Missouri area for construction materials testing and construction observation. As a result, Wright-Weeks, Inc., later to become Anderson Engineering, established the first construction materials testing laboratory in the Springfield area.

Land Surveying

Report

Surveying services were the other main services provided by Anderson Engineering when we opened in Springfield in 1958. Today, surveying services are still a major portion of the services we provide, which include: Boundary Surveys, Site, Topographic and Utility Surveys, ALTA/ACSM Title Surveys, GIS Services, Subdivisions, GPS Surveys, Construction Staking.

Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering services were our main focus when we opened in Springfield in 1958. Today, civil engineering design services are still the base service of Anderson Engineering. Municipal Engineering is work done by an engineer - that was ordered by local government or municipal council - for the use and/or safety of the general public.
