Joe Taylor Restoration was sent by my insurance company after a pipe broke and flooded my home. They arrived within an hour. The crew was VERY polite, communicative, hard working, and professional. The Foreman Steve Voitus was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, professional and patient. Steve took the time to explain everything and returned the next day to check on the equipment and progress. Steve gave me his cell phone in case any problems occurred.
The crew was very respectful of my furniture and put everything they moved back in the exact place it was moved from. The crew that returned 5 days later to put everything away and pick up their blowers & dehumidifiers was also fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about Joe Taylor Restoration and their staff. ON A SCALE OF 1-10 THEY DESERVE A 20! THANK YOU!

So my homeowners send a restoration company to my home after a plumbing problem, being a new homeowner and in a panic i thought insurance company sent them ro avoid mold issues and paying a claim.then realized rhey dont pay anything They put in a big dehumidifier some fans, cut out behind molding, tear up the carpet, ,d on't put anything back and charge me 1500$.Said they would accept payments, they accepted my 1st check, still put a lien on my home!
The date of the lein is the same day is the letter saying pay or make payment arrangements. Added $250 to the bill. And now tell me they can foreclose on my home unless paid in 7 months! Do not use Joe Taylor Restoration, ,r ent equipment at Home Depot.

Good morning, I wanted to take this opportunity to give thanks and acknowledge Adriano, Matt Quercia and Jesse Diaz. We had a leak in our hot water pipe that caused damage to our home. They were as professional, caring, respectful and courteous as any service providers we have ever encountered. Jerome Bauer was very professional, courteous, and made me feel at ease in an extremely stressful situation. Back in November we had some water damage from Hurricane Eta. My wife and I were horrified when we saw gallons of water come into our home via our windows. After filing a claim with our insurance company we called Joe Taylor Restoration for the Mold remediation. This company is amazing the process started with Anthony Y. coming out to quickly address the water clean up.
Shortly after Luiz C. came out to provide an estimate for the mold remediation. Finally, Christian S. and his amazing team came out to remove the mold from our home. The posted pictures are the results from Christian and his amazing team! Christian and his team were amazing and should be recognized for the professionalism that they exhibited while at my home.

This has to be the best restoration company out there! Amazing follow ups and speedy service. After a major water damage in our kitchen in Fort Lauderdale, really fast initial response and protection of our belongings by Clyde. Amazing mold evaluation and expertise from Adriano. They were the recommended company my insurance uses for their claims. Our policy only had $10,000 for mold remediation, but they sent a bill to my insurance company for $11,596.50 making me responsible for $1,596.50 above what my insurance paid for. I did not under stand why this happen. They should have told me this before work was done so I could get other estimates, since I only had $10,000 for mold remediation. BUT I DO UNDERSTAND THAT MY INSURANCE AGENT SAID IT WAS ALL TAKEN CARE OF.
These thing should not not happen between the insurance company and the recommended mold remediation company they do business with all the time. I will say they did a good job, but way over priced for what was done. It seems when an insurance company says it's all taken care of the company thinks that it can charge almost what ever they can get away with. Hope this never happens to any one else.

The company was very respectful and honest about the situation at hand. thay came out they realize we had an issue bigger than what we thought. they handled it very well Kevin King kept fans in our house for a couple days and he kept coming out and checking the problem and answering and questions we had. The entire staff is very Professional and very knowledgeable of their business.
I would definitely recommend them to anybody else that needs some restoration issues. The kindness and family oriented view that they show is well and beyond. They didn't make us feel like we were just another job. Kevin King was so sweet and brought my son a Birthday ballon.

We are very pleased with the service we received from Joe Taylor Restoration. We noticed at 5:00 AM that we had water on our guest bathroom, living in the building, we soon realized that the leak already caused huge damage in other units. Within an hour of the phone call, Steve Voitus from Joe Taylor Restoration was on the building with his team and started the clean up and drying out, no that I understand, but from what it looked like high tech machinery.
They communicated with us every step of they way, and explained everything and when the job was complete. Not only my husband and I, but all other owners the water damage has been affected was very impressed with Joe Taylor Restoration job, they were very pleasant, professional and thorough. I really highly recommend Joe Taylor Restoration!

Issam, Will, Tim, Ricardo and Christian from Jo Taylor restoration are very professional, honest and very kind (the whole crew). We had bad water damage and mold in our bathrooms and kitchen nook. Issam and his crew removed all of the damage and cleaned up like they were never there! I already recommended JT to a neighbor who also has some water damage. I live in Orlando, FL and we used Joe Taylor Restoration here, as they've recently come to our area. On Saturday night we came home to a pipe break in our house. About 8000+ gallons of water had flooded our home. We called Joe Taylor Restoration around 8:30pm and one of their colleagues, Chris Zepp, showed up within 30 minutes. Chris was professional, knowledgeable, and kind.
He answered all of our questions and got to work within minutes. Poor guy, it was his Saturday night too, but he worked well until midnight while we found ourselves a hotel and got settled in. We worked with Chris for 4 days/nights as he remediated our damage, by drying it, testing all areas in the house, and ripping up our floors and baseboards as needed.
I cannot say enough about this mans work ethic and thorough communication skills. Before we asked a question, he had it answered. We always knew what the next step would be, when he'd be around, and how long we needed to extend our hotel stay. When we were given the okay to get back in the house, the floors/baseboards were gone and all of our furniture was in the exact same spot. I'll call it magic, because I don't know how Chris was able to do such an extensive remediation while still keeping our house as organized as possible.
He treated our home as if it were his own. I cannot speak higher of a company as I can about Joe Taylor Restoration, and their ace Chris Zepp. During such a stressful time, Chris gave us one less thing to worry about, and made the process as painless as possible. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs such services.

I was very happy with the crew that showed up to clean up the water damage caused by a water heater that had emptied 3 floors above me. The owner of the condo assured me her insurance company would take care of everything. The crew did an amazing job. It took a week to dry everything out. One huge dehumidifier and about 6 commercial fans. A claim was put in with the Insurance Company of the condo owner whose water heater caused the damage, and it took at least a month before we were notified that they were not covering the claim.
Before we were notified by the Insurance Company, the Office of Joe Taylor was calling me telling me I am responsible to pay and putting pressure on me to pay the bill. After talking to my Insurance Company again, they assured me they would pay the bill. I called Joe Taylor and asked them send the bill to my Insurance Company and gave them the information. Again, Joe Taylor Co kept calling me to pay the bill.
The woman from Joe Taylor had sent it to the wrong email address, so again I gave them the information. They also forgot to send the "scope of work" to the insurance Company. Joe Taylor Company told me they were going to put a lien on our property if we didn't pay. Again, we informed them that they had not sent the information to the right email address and forgot to send the scope that's why it was taking so long.
We received a certified letter that they were moving forward with a lien. My husband called them, and they received the Insurance Check probably at the same time we received the lien notice. One would think that a restoration company would be accustomed to Insurance Claims taking 2 to 3 months to settle. We also were in touch with Joe Taylor Company and the Insurance Company on a regular basis and the reason it took longer was because Joe Taylor did not send to the correct email address, and when they did, the did not send the scope of service. So, I gave it half the stars because the work was done professionally;however, the Office manager was acting more like a bad debt collector instead of being helpful by getting the correct information the Insurance Company needed. She was very difficult to deal because she was not a good listener or note taker. This could have been resolved much quicker is she would have done her job properly.

Terrible Terrible company, Run Run Run away, Do not let them in your house, you will be sorry later on after the Job is done They were sent by our insurance company and the nicest people showed up to our rescue! They signed us up on a work authorization form that let them hijack the claim away from you and will over charge your insurance and when the policy limits are not high enough they will come after you beware make sure to limit there work to policy limits, better take your time and review the company, choose one that will will not screw you over when it's all done get a referral from a friend, these people are overly greedy and already making lots of $$$, needless to say we will most likely will have to solve this in court, ,

One of the best customer experiences I've ever had in my life (in the midst of an AC leak!). No homeowner wants to wake up in the middle of the night to their ceiling leaking in their new home. That was my family in May 2017 & Joe Taylor came to the rescue incredibly fast (next day which was a Sunday 7:30pm). They came to my home several times, each time being patient, respecting my home, not leaving messes, great communication, very efficient & friendly & knowledgable. Everything is now better than original condition & I sincerely thank their team. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Had leaking roof. After roof was fixed they finally came in. During the remediation they did not clean the ventilation system or remove under stairs damage before they fill Traciann system was put in place. Mold was involved. Later other surfaces had to be removed due to mold and water damage by another company. That was last year I'm still in a hotel. I felt I was definitely not a priority. I'm being generous with two stars. Wouldn't use them again.

They are AMAZING! Their swift and quick response, guidance through the initial stages of this process with insurance and their remediation with the mold in our house was outstanding. A a business owner and Licensed General Contractor, not only do I notice details of how other companies operate and the quality of their work; I am regularly exposed to many of JT Restoration's competitor's projects. I have seen all ends of the spectrum from downright terrible, to average, to very good. Finding out you have mold in your house is distressing, to say the least. The insurance adjusters, leak detectors and others that begin to invade your home can make life uncomfortable. When you are finally told you need to hire a company to come and rip out walls and run large machines for days you wonder how much worse things can get.

I used Joe Taylor Restoration on 2 separate occasions. My home in Boca Raton had a pipe that broke in the wall. Clegg from the team came out and explained in detail to us how he was going to dry our home and mitigate the damage. Not only was he able to dry our home, the work he did saved parts of the home that could have been destroyed. We also had a flood in our condo in Ft. Myers from a leak from a condo 2 floors above. Rod and Tim came out from the team and as expected, did a great job. The staff onsite and the office staff have great professionalism and I would recommend Joe Taylor Restoration to anyone with a water, fire or mold loss.

I usually don't write reviews but after my experience with Joe Taylor Restoration, I felt it important to share my experience. Three weeks ago a huge thunderstorm passed our area. Streets were flooded, the rain came down very hard. I heard what sounded like someone dropped a huge sack of potatoes in my back bedroom. I went to see what was going on.
When I walked in the room I found half of my ceiling had collapsed. Water was pouring in. There was debris and insulation all over the place. I wasn't sure what to do or who to call. Do I call a roofer or my insurance company or a company to suck the water up and who do I call to fix the ceiling? I had a flood from my dishwasher a couple years back. Joe Taylor Restoration was sent out by my insurance company.
They did a real good job last time so I thought to call them not knowing if this is something they did. I found their card and called. The woman who answered the phone at Joe Taylor Restoration was extremely pleasant and answered all my questions. She explained she would have a crew out immediately to clean up the mess and dry the structure. In addition, she would line up a roofer to fix the roof ASAP.
She explained once all that was done they would work with either myself or my insurance company to address all the other damage. The guys from Joe Taylor Restoration showed up fast and eased my worries. I was extremely upset and nervous as anyone who has been through this would be. The guys checked on me and my property often. The submitted reports and photos to my insurance company.
They were involved with the entire process including making sure the roof was temporarily tarped until permanent repairs were made. They turned a difficult and upsetting situation into a manageable one. Thank you so much everyone at JTR!

I suggest you ask lots of questions upfront like how much is their services going to be and do not sign anything until you do. Small leak, NO flood, they charged $650+. Irresponsible company should not have left 2 blowers for 3 days. COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Typical contractor with their hands out and take advantage of the customer.

A very bad experience! They came in my house with lots of people, I guess to finish the work fast, right? took out fans, never put them back, said they couldn't open and clean them. so why did they take them off the ceiling if you can't clean them? the lamps on the fans, that by the way were expensive fans, the chemical used took out the paint from the frosting of the glass.
Until this day I am waiting for them to return my call to replace the lamp. This was a relatively small house, only 1900 sq feet, nothing inside besides the smell of smoke and damage in a couple cabinets in the kitchen. My bill over 10k. Totally unjustifiable!
