Crystal Pools

I wish i could give more than 5 stars! Our pump went down on our pool. We searched local pool repair company's and Crystal Pools was the first one to come up. We called and they asked for pictures of the motor and pump. They said with the information they could get us a quote for a new motor on the pools and that it would save an extra service call trip which was amazing!

We gave them the information they needed and they had a quote for a new motor within the hour. They gave us the option of searching for the pump online ourselves which would be cheaper. They explained the difference of us buying and them buying it and that we would have a warranty through their distributor if the part went bad. I trusted their judgement and ordered the part through them.

They got our pool on the schedule pretty quick and gave us tips to prevent our pool from turning green in the mean time. When the tech came he was so nice and knowledgeable he got in done within the quoted labor hours and was very thorough with his clean up. My pool is up and running and my kids are happily swimming. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Critical: Value The company quoted a price to change three return valves on our pool and then charged us twice that price without any notice. Just sent us a bill with no explanation. While the technicians were great, I would not use them again due to the billing practices. Not trustworthy. Service: General repairs & maintenance

We've just started with the services for my sister in laws pool but so far they are very easy to work with. Will know more after we've spent time with them.

They only do in-ground pools. But we're very helpful with referring me to others for above-ground. VERY friendly and knowledgeable.

Original Post: I attempted to discuss the details of a pool we were wanting to build with their "designer"?. She didn't seem interested in having the conversation and actually took another call while we were talking. I was hoping we could get a proposal but doesn't look like it will happen. Response to Owner's Comments - 05DEC19: I can not "reply" to the owner's response to my original post so I will edit the original in an attempt to set the record straight.

I have no reason or motive to do harm to this company and my original post was accurate and truthful. I would not bother to respond to the owners comments if it were not for the irresponsible and misleading nature of the feedback provided. The reason for my original posting was my dissatisfaction with the results of the phone call wherein I felt the owner didn't seem interested in listening as I attempted to explain my needs.

I am a Commercial Director for a very large EPC corporation with 31 years experience in heavy construction across a very diversified industrial portfolio. In short, I understand the importance of having proper site testing as well as the requirement for qualified engineering support prior to executing a project. I would never, nor did I ever, suggest that the owner try to provide a proposal that did not include the same.

I also did not ask for a proposal over the phone, I simply described the type of installation we were considering and asked for a rough order magnitude value for that type of project would be. Bear in mind the purpose of my call was to get the owner to come to our house and perform whatever site survey would be required to provide me with an well prepared proposal.

My complaint in a nutshell was I couldn't quite get that message across to someone who didn't seem to listen well. Again, I have no interest in harming you, I simply ask that the facts in this matter be clear and factual. There is a difference in listening to respond, and listening to hear.

Our 8' Diving Board was removed to landfill by Crystal Pools without our knowledge after Crystal Pools said it was in good condition and only needed a minor repair for a Crystal Pools contract price of $210. Crystal Pools stated that although they had not installed diving boards for 5 years, if we paid them their cost of $1,736.45, they would install a 6' board to replace our 8' board, but without a warranty. Replacement cost from a reputable company with a warranty is $3,748. Rust stains were left over large area of deck.

Because bolts cut from the removed diving board were left untreated and scaffolding support wires were not removed after work, there are rust stains in several places on our white deck. Crystal Pools did not address this before they left. Pictures below show the condition of deck as left by Crystal Pools. Required repainting of the entire deck by a reputable pool company has an estimated cost of $4500.

We found working with Crystal Pools inconsistent and extremely frustrating. The above are only some of our frustrations. We don't know the reasons for Crystal Pools actions. We only know that we will not work with them again.

I have known Ali and her team for well over 10 years. She is honest, to a fault. She cares about her name, reputation, and the quality of work that is being provided by her company, her employees, and the reputation of over 35 years of the family owned business that her father, mother, and now she runs. Besides her knowledge, she is professional, and ethical in all of her dealings. If you want a 1st Class pool that you see in magazines, and wonder how they do it, hire her. She is the one!

We used Crystal Pools to conduct a pre-purchase inspection of the pool in a home we are buying. They were very thorough and took the time to explain the pool operations (first time pool owners) and detail all of the repairs discovered during the inspection including a breakdown of the costs.

Being first time pool owners (and to be honest not knowing much about pools---cleaning it), Crystal Pools does an exceptional job every week! There was one particular cleaning that I was just blown away. We recently got solar panels on our roof to heat up the pool...little tiny pieces from the shingles were getting loose and falling into the pool which then started staining the bottom of the pool and around it... at first we didn't know what was turning the pool green because our pool never got that color with the weekly cleaning.

Our pool was so green and really gross looking almost like it was attacked by an algae virus that was spreading like wild flowers. Then comes Wednesday our pool cleaning day...we were busy out and about almost the whole day, and I felt bad I didn't warn them of the pool beforehand...I was so worried they wouldn't be able to clean it and it'll take forever to finally get it back to the blue crisp water...but we came home and WOW... just WOW.... it looked like a brand new pool!!!

I seriously couldn't believe it! Not sure what they did but it was amazingly clean!! Totally made my day :). Also if we ever had something wrong with the pool they always have been able to fix it...great work! I would highly recommend Crystal Pools!

The owner was very fair in price and gave us a lot of options for our pool. She was quick to answer all of our questions and they got started on the project right away. All of the employees were very sweet and they were very good about keeping the work space clean.

It was a joy working with the professionals at Crystal Pools. John worked with my vision of what I wanted to do and directed me to the products to achieve my dream. My back yard is a tropical paradise!

My husband and I hired Crystal Pools to design and build our backyard pool and spa with waterfall. The owner of Crystal Pools worked with us step by step on the design of our pool and spa. It is absolutely gorgeous!!! We have many guests rave about our pool and we could not happier with the final product!
