We needed work done to fix our bathroom light and fan. The previous owners of the house used a ground wire as the neutral. I called around and Carter Electric was the first people available to come out. Cody showed up on time, actually he was a bit early, diagnosed the problem quickly and got to work fixing the problem. He did a great job. My dog liked him, too.

I lucked out and called Tony Carter he sent out the Techs they Discovered my problem was not electrical but they referred "Absolute Comfort" who saved me 5500. With a different approach to the needed Repair recommended by another company. Smart businesses make smart referrals. Carter is my go to electrician from now on In Redding. The men sent to my house were Masked and observed distance measures Great! As a retired business man I'm proud When I see this kind of customer care, I think Tony & Co wrote the book! I inquired the other day about possibly hiring them for a small outlet project, and was turned down due to "heavy workloads." While I understand this place is popular and is backed up, if I was running a business I just wouldn't tell a potential client no and that you are to busy for them. I did explain that the work I was requesting (upgrading some outlets in the house to tampered resistant ones) could wait and didn't need to be done soon, but I was still turned down.

It just didn't sit well with me, as my wife and I both felt like we didn't matter to them. So I guess I won't be using this company in the future, which is unfortunate for them because I have some really large projects next year that will require a lot of electrical work. I will say that the owner seems like a very nice guy though and was quick to respond which I appreciated

I would not hesitate to contact Carter Electric for a bid. They bid a job for me to install a new electrical box plus a permit and was $1,000 under the two other bids I received. Hence, he was hired for the job and got it done quickly and professionally!

Used Carter Electric on a referral for patio fan install. Great job. I called Tony back to do some outdoor and indoor receptacle installs. Just had him back a third time to install a 30 volt RV receptacle on the side of the garage. I know I can trust Tony to do everything just right. Conduits are bent to perfectly follow surfaces, holes and boxes are clean & straight. Quality work and fair prices. I highly recommend Carter Electric.
