Vicente Landscaping

I am not going to beg for a proposal! He came to our house on May 10th to review our requirements. He promised a quote for a landscaping project of our entire backyard by the 19th - nope. Then when I had to reach out and ask when he would have a proposal to me, he said May 24th. Still nothing. No emails. No texts. No calls. It makes me wonder just how good they live up to their installation commitments when they can't even deliver a quote as promised, and/or don't stay in contact.

I guess business must be fantastic if they can ignore a potential client on a pretty large project. Update: Got the proposal on June 4th. And also, posted the same comments on another platform - which V.L. deleted from public view.

We've used Vicente Landscaping when we originally landscaped our yard and were totally satisfied. 5 years later, we just had them come back to extend the driveway 25 more feet in so we could park our RV on the side of the house. This required 25' more of retainer wall, structural engineering, etc. Communication with Chris and Jose and Hector and the rest of the team was always clear. They are a pleasure to work with and we're always super happy with the results!

Vicente did our landscaping for our new construction home. Their proposal was fair and very reasonable for the service and quality you get. All the crew were great to work with. Office staff were friendly and professional. Chris, the owner, runs a good company and worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted.

We scheduled an appointment with Vicente and had someone come out to look at our backyard. They came, and said we would hear next week with an estimate. Two weeks later we get the estimate. We then reach out to work with their landscape designer, something mentioned to us during the first visit. Sounded like a great idea, but we had to schedule a month out. ok we can wait.

The day arrives and 5 min before they are supposed to arrive they call to cancel. We are now being told they will not come see us again for over 4 months. This is absolutely ridiculous and they clearly don't need our business. We will NEVER be working with them again. Their conduct was unprofessional and the gentlemen getting us quotes made my wife feel like it was her fault for them not coming.

Covid-19 virus material slowdowns and incredible demand in the Prescott area not withstanding, Vicente Landscaping started my job when they said they would. Their office staff kept me apprised via email. What a difference to have a professional installation! The big shock up front was their pricing was the same as an unlicensed installer which we would have had to buy all the material and get it delivered.

So worth the wait and lack of headache to have Vicente Landscaping Do It All. I especially liked the paver and grass crews respect of our property and attention to detail. Very polite installers. Ours was a difficult installation with lattice and a tree and tight and curved borders. We waited years to finally have a backyard we could enjoy. In the next house, it will be the first thing we do! PS Our dog loves it!

Way overpriced. Poor quality work, that has required them to come back innumerable times to make good. Supervisors attitude is at best, POOR. Just as a for instance, plants that they planted died, and we have not been reimbursed for these dead plants that we purchased. There's another for instance, the drip system they placed, had to be replaced at our expense. MOST IMPORTANTLY, ONCE AGAIN, THE SUPERVISORS ATTITUDE IS POOR.

My husband and I recently purchased a home in Prescott Valley. We knew we were going to want a paver job done at our townhome. Bruce Basehore, owner of Southwest Paver Restorations recommended Vicente, owned by Chris Welborn. We trust Bruce, so we called Vicente. Scott came out to discuss our needs. Once we received our bid for the job, we got on their schedule.

We could not be more pleased with the job Vicente Landscaping did. Their attention to detail was second to none. We were most impressed with the process for laying pavers including compacting the ground. Many neighbors have added pavers (installed by other contractors). When they heard the equipment being used by Vicente, one neighbor came to our home to ask, "Are they jackhammering up your back patio?" Most were shocked to see how much Vicente puts into laying pavers.

I can only surmise most neighbors pavers were not laid using the same process. All of the staff at Vicente have been exceptionally pleasant, professional and punctual. If you want the BEST to do your landscape/hardscape job, be prepared to wait as they are so busy they're running anywhere from 8-16 weeks out. They are absolutely worth the wait!

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness I asked for an estimate for driveway pavers. Scott came out and took the measurements and said he would have the estimate for me in a week. More than 2 weeks later and I haven't heard back from anyone. Not professional or reliable.

Scott showed up for our appointment on time. He gave us recommendations and was very personable and easy to work with. He went above and beyond what any landscaper would. He checked on the job everyday to make sure the work was done right. The crew was friendly, too! Thank you, Vicente!

I hired Vicente Landscaping to design and install a large, new front yard for my ex-wife, as a gift. Yes, you heard right! Chris and his team did a great job from initial design plan, scheduling and rock selections (right on the nose!) to installation, which was on time and on budget. We asked for an estimate to remove sod. When making the appointment I was not told that it would be 5-7 days before they could produce an estimate. The guy they sent out was very rude. He didn't like the fact that my husband knew alot about sod removal. He measured, got in his truck, said in an offhand manner that we would get the estimate in a couple of days. His attitude and the fact they didn't tell us it took so long to get an estimate lost them our job.

Had the most wonderful experience with Vicente Landscaping. Trying to build and landscape remotely was a challenge, but Vicente made it easy and the end result was more than we could have hoped for. Their customer service is exceptional, their were open to changes, always communicating and I would HIGHLY recommend them. Our new home is beautiful, Thank You Vicente!

Vicente Landscaping does a great job in everything I have ever hired them to do. Weekly maintenance? Yes, my yard looks great! Change up a few things in the yard? Add some new plantings? Sure! They made great recommendations and the new plants thrived! Brand new house landscaping? I have done this twice and both yards looked better than I could have imagined.

They listened to understand what I envisioned, and told me what would and wouldn't work. All the crew work hard and even seem to enjoy their labor intensive jobs! Professional from start to finish. I see their company vehicles all over town, so they are busy! Highly recommend!

Chris and his crew, put in artificial turf and fixed my pavers. They were timely professional and cost effective. Now I can just prune and maintain my garden beds. Also my dogs love the new grass! Great job Chris, doing our front yard soon, will be calling you.

We just moved to Prescott Lakes and heard about Vicente from our nephew and niece. We met with a total of 4 landscapers and hands down Vicente was the best choice. From the first meeting with the owner and. landscape designer to the finish date every person on the crew to the owners were considerate and paid close attention to our desires and needs.

We not only have a beautiful front and back yard, we have the highest regard for this company. We can't say enough about them.except the sincerest thank you for creating such a beautiful setting for us to live.

Vicente Landscaping completed Phase I of our landscaping almost one year ago. From design to completion, Chris and the entire Vicente Team were professional, creative and completed the project on time and on. budget. Our project included very non-glamorous, but essential, work with pouring perfect concrete parking pads, regrading driveway drainage to a nearby creek, lots of landscape rock, paver patios, stepping stones, and bordered front garden areas complete with fabulous soil. We look forward to continuing future phases with Vicente Landscaping!

Excellent! I have used Vicente Landscaping to totally landscape two new homes in the last 4 years! They designed and installed a total landscape package including lots of trees, shrubs, accent plants, rock, grass, pavers, courtyard wall, lighting, boulders, rip rap, drip irrigation and anything else that went on the ground! They have also done several small jobs for me, since I can never make up my mind and always want more!

I also have an annual maintenance contract that keeps my yard looking great! And, they can even remove the snow in my driveway when needed! Several of my friends have used Vicente Landscaping after they saw my great yard and were impressed with their professionalism as well. Vicente Landscaping has an office staff that is "manned" every weekday, which is something that a lot of other landscape contractors don't have in Prescott. Vicente Landscaping is a larger company in the area, and they are licensed and bonded which is VERY important to me. When they made appointments with me, they actually show up on time! They are a great company, very professional, and most importantly, they do beautiful work!

Vicente Landscaping did a major "refresh" to our backyard this spring. Chris as owner and every single person we dealt with over the week of our new installation were knowledgable; had great ideas; made suggestions and yet really listened to our ideas as well. The week of installation went smoothly with Jose' and his hard working crew. We could not be more pleased with our new lovely expanded patio, walkways, plants, etc.

I have used Vicente Landscaping to completely landscape my two new houses since I moved to Prescott in 2009. They did a great job listening to what I wanted and presented me with a comprehensive design. The installation went smoothly, and I could make a few changes as they went along if I wanted. Vicente used beautiful paver materials for my. patio, big lovely boulders for the yard, lots and lots of plants and trees, and even the perimeter fencing looks great!

My home looks just as pretty and inviting at night with their lighting design, highlighting trees and features, as well as providing me with a little feeling of security. I also use Vicente to do summer weekly lawn mowing and maintenance to ensure everything keeps looks great. Of course as things go along, I have added more things here and there. I would highly recommend Vicente Landscaping for any project, big or small.

We hired them when we moved here in 2004. We paid them a lot of money for landscaping and all we got were weeds. I had them come back twice and then they said there nothing they could do to fix about the grass seeds they planned and never heard from them again. They laughed at me and said you're not in California anymore. I would never recommend them to anyone. We lost a lot of money
