This past winter we had ice build up and resulting water damage. A crew came out within hours to chip away the ice along the roof and inspect the area. We scheduled the roof repair over the summer. From initial staging, removal of our old roof, installation and final walk through the entire crew were positive, professional and responsive. At each step any questions I had were welcomed, responses showed genuine concern for my satisfaction and skillful knowledge of their craft.

Once the job was complete they left the area neat and clean free of nails, shingles or debris. There were a couple final touches needed to make the job look perfect. They happily and professionally ensured that their work was done to perfection. Excellent service and repair.

The building was very neat, and clean. The clerk to whom I paid my bill was neatly dressed, polite, courteous, well spoken, and very knowledgeable. They are the best when it comes to roofing. I had a metal roof and a rubberized roof put on in 2007, and it still looks like it was done yesterday. The crew did outstanding work, very neat, clean, and professional.

Jim came and saw the repair that was needed. He repaired the affected area. The leaky periphery of the chimney/vent was sealed beautifully! This repair saved me a $1,000.00; this was quoted by another roofer. I am a 79 year old woman and a sitting duck for anyone wanting to take advantage. Van Derhoof Roofing was amazing! ***If you have young children this is the company to go with.*** I called for an estimate, they sent someone out the next day. They stated they were booked up for most of the year, if I wanted to replace the whole roof they would have to wait til spring of next year. I asked if they were able to just do the top portion of my roof to get me through the winter with peace of mind.

They were able to work with me and accommodate my request. We ended up having a serious of storms and my roof leaked ( it was not leaking prior). I called to see if there was any way they could move me up on their schedule. They sent someone right out to patch the roof. I then had a call stating they would start the job in just a couple days! The entire crew was very respectful and nice.

There was no yelling or swearing from any of the crew members. If they didn't have to hammer on the roof I would not have known they were here! They made sure everything was cleaned up. There was no trace of fallen materials left in the yard. They didn't even collect payment until they had a senior member come back to inspect everything. All in all they were fantastic. I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

I was referred to Van Derhoof Roofing by my parents. They had a very positive experience working with Van Derhoof. I requested a quote for a new roof due to the age (20 yrs) and that most of my neighbors were having their roofs replaced this summer. I submitted a request for an estimate online, received a prompt response, estimate was completed within a couple of days.

Their recommendation was that my roof was still in good shape, consider replacing in 4-5 years. At my request they replaced the roof vent. The installers arrived on-time, were professional, and cleaned up prior to leaving. I would highly recommend Van Derhoof.

Inspection of the home I bought recommended some work be done on the roof. I looked around for recommended roofers in the area. Van Derhoof had stellar reviews. I called and booked the work. Van Derhoof is responsive and does quality work. They left the home neat after working every day. They let me know what was going on and what I ought to expect. The work they did is excellent and my roof is in great shape. I highly recommend the good folks at Van Derhoof Roofing.

The staff were professional, kept me informed on additional repair/supplies needed to complete the job, and arrived on date as scheduled. Each day the yard was cleaned and supplies picked up and neatly set up for following day. Once the job was completed they reviewed what was done and the product that was applied. I scheduled an estimate on line and was contacted within one day. The estimate was scheduled within one week and the job scheduled and completed within 6 weeks. I would recommend them for a roofing installation.

Van Derhoof did our roof over a period of 5 days (May 29th, June 1st-4th). They were professional from start to finish, working through some rain and some pretty warm days, showing up on time every morning and working into the early evening. Our roof had 3 layers of shingle that had to be removed which they did rather quickly before installing our new shingle.

They also fixed our chimney which was in extreme disrepair. We had a bird's nest with week old baby robins right outside our front window. The crew built a cover over our entire living room window to protect the babies from the falling debris and also let us know when one had left the nest on their last day at our home. The site was cleaned up every day (which was good because we had dogs).

If it not for the work clearly being done on the roof, you couldn't even tell anyone had been there. Will they be the cheapest? I'm not sure. But for your money you will receive quality, professional work from a friendly crew who use high quality products. You will get a good bang for your buck.

We cannot thank Van Derhoof Roofing enough for the new roof they installed this weekend on a house at our Hixson Build Site! They completed the job in a single day, kept an extremely clean job site, and were professional at all times. Andy was very easy to coordinate with, and they were able to fit us in on a tight schedule. The roof looks amazing, and we are beyond grateful for their hard work.

We love our new roof! Shannon and the rest of the crew had a real challenge when the weather turned partway through the job but they stuck it out and the finished product looks great. We have an older home, built in 1923, so there were 5 or 6 layers of roofing that had to be removed before the new metal roof could be installed. There were some structural issues that had to be dealt with as well but watching how they work and the time and effort put into making it right gives me confidence that I will never need to worry about the roof again.

I want to tell you what a great crew was at my home this past week. They were very polite and did a fantastic job, not only on the roof but cleaning up each day. It was a pleasure to have them here and I do so appreciate all their hard work and kindness to me.

Thanks for having the snow and ice removed from my roof so promptly. I am sure you saved it from collapsing completely, which would have caused extensive damage. P.S. I was able to leave on my vacation by 3p.m. and have you to thank for making that possible.
