I learned a great deal about the best locks to buy and why. The tech informed me of the whole process and even taught me a few things.

I locked myself out, couldn't feel more stupid, it never happened to me before. I googled from my phone a locksmith company, Unlockme Locksmith came up first. The girl on the phone was very nice. The tech came 20 minutes from the time I called. He came, unlocked the door in no time and the price was reasonable too. Great service, they made a very unpleasant situation pleasant.

I needed a locksmith to come out to my house and install new locks. I was searching on the internet and I called Unlockme Locksmith on a whim (I thought the name was cute). Well, even though it was a long shot it turned out to be right on. Asi, tech, was excellent. I called him to install new locks because thats what I thought I needed.

Your locksmith, Joseph, was very accommodating and very polite. I lost my girlfriends car keys & I needed someone to come out right away & make a replacement. They were at my house 30 mins after I called them. Its good to know you have techs that are reliable & knowledgable in their field. I feel comfortable calling you back any time. Thanks again.

Professional company -- They are quick, courteous, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I'm located across the country from a rental unit that I own and needed the locks re keyed for a new tenant. They were able to take care of everything with only a few phone calls. Tenants were also very happy with the service.

I've lost my car keys, I had my car towed to Ford dealership. I was in a rush and had no idea that the wait time would be four hours. They told me to leave the car there and come back in four to five hours. On top of the rediciouls wait time the price seemed outrageous. I called Unlockme Locksmith, they came 30 minutes after I called, it took the tech 20 minutes to make me a key.

Not only that the service was great, they charged me a $100 less than the dealership price. I just wished I knew before going through the trouble with having my car towed and waiting time at the dealers. I will definitely use them again!

I got lockout out in the middle of the night. I've tried calling sever companies who claim on their site that they're 24 hrs. I finally got a hold of someone, it was Unlockme locksmith who came and helped me. The girl on the phone was super nice, i was scared and she talked to me till the tech came. The tech was super professional and nice. I've already programmed the number.

I've been wanting to have my locks changed & kept trying to shop around. The reason that I'm saying trying is because no company was able to answer an of my questions except for Unlockme Locksmith! They were very professional, both the person who answered the phone and the locksmith. Great service thank you!

I'm a total ditz and locked myself out of my house. My boyfriend was out of town I definitely cried in frustration. But the woman over the phone was really nice and helpful and sooner rather than later I was inside. And now I have learned my lesson on locking myself out lol

?These guys really did a great job helping me out of a tough situation. I had dropped my keys down an elevator by accident and I needed some court papers inside my house that had to be processed that day. The girl who answered at the locksmith co. was very polite & I promptly received a call from a technician who showed up about 15 minutes later.

This was one of the most negative experiences that I have ever had with a service provider. While I found the company on Yelp, I should have better read the Yelp reviews which warned of this place. The quote for a service call was a relatively reasonable $35, but when they arrived, they wanted to charge $120 on top of the service call to 'try to open the lock'!

To make matters even worse, 'if picking the lock didn't work', they would conveniently be able to 'up-sell' services! The costs could quickly escalate to more than $200-$300+! Sure enough, they weren't able to pick the lock, so then proceeded to try to sell services to drill the lock and knock the door down, replacing with new locks, new doorknobs, new keys, etc! No thank you! I paid the $35 service fee and found an alternative, less expensive and intrusive way to open the door.

Prompt professional service, would highly recommend these guys. Unlockme Locksmith was great.

Unlock me was great they came quick and opened my apartment door in a jiffy. Anytime you need a lock to be opened this this is the company to call. Jessica is Highly recommended.

So I get home around 2am, cab drops me off, and I start fumbling through my purse looking for my keys. Then it hits me. they are on the kitchen counter. I frantically start calling friends in the neighborhood and can't get through to anyone. OH- and it was the 4th of July. I started googling locksmiths in my area, none of whom answered the phone.

At this point, I start thinking I'm SOL. I tried a couple more places and got Unlockme. A really nice lady answered the phone and definitely sensed the urgency of me needing to get in. She sent a woman over promptly (within 30 mins) who quickly got in into my apartment. She was friendly, professional, courteous, and quick. I would definitely recommend them.

BEWARE! DISHONEST, TARDY, UNPROFESSIONAL, SHYSTERS! This is not a true locksmith company. When you call, you get a call center who sends someone out they have never met. They gave me a window of an hour when my locksmith would show. They also told me he would call first. When he never called, I called to make sure he was still coming. They assured me he was.

The one hour window came and went and he still did not show. Finally he called and said he would be there in 20 minutes. He showed up about 45 minutes after that. He told me that he could not re-key the locks and I had to completely change them out (which later I found out was a complete lie when the new company I hired did the re-key just fine). He began to do some work on one of the doors and then told me the job was going to be over $600.

I told him to stop and that I did not want him to continue the job. He proceeded to call his "boss" and call me names right in front of me. I told him to get off the property and he demanded his service fee. I told him I would call the company (the 800# listed on this yelp page) and work it out with the person I had been speaking with. Before I could finish the phone call he had left. Jessica, the person answering the 800# was baffled! Jessica continued to call me multiple times for two days to "make it up to me". I found another company who did the job for $160!

Excellent service. They were caring, skilled and reasonably priced. The locksmith was efficient, knowledgeable and handled a large job (we had six doors, all in need of care) with ease and competence. I would definitely recommend Unlockme Locksmiths! They're just good people.

Great company. Great dispatchers and technician. Mike is THE BEST TECH EVER. Not only is he friendly and knowledgeable, but is also very clean in appearance and work. Love his work ethic. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Have used him before, about 2 months ago and again today in 2013. Would use this company over and over again from now on!

I locked myself out of my house and inside the ten foot iron gate around my house. The home owner was out of town, no spare keys and I was in bedtime attire, outdoors at 11pm. Turns out there aren't too many 24 hour locksmiths in my area and the one's open had "after hours" charges of $50+ on top of the fee to unlock. The woman on the phone quoted me a $29 service fee + $20-30 for the lock.

She also said he would be there very soon. The locksmith called 25 mins later to say he was on his way and would be 25 mins - I guess "soon" is relative! He arrives and says the lock is $65, plus the service fee. Big difference from the quote! It took 45 minutes but the guy climbed the iron gate to avoid charging me for another lock and didn't damage anything getting the door open. Honestly, he has a skill and tools I don't and I have work in the morning. It sucked shelling out $94 but I'm now safe and warm in my home. As a note, it says you get 12% off when you mention the Yelp ad but there was no discount given.

I lost my car keys and found these guys on Google. The girl said she needs to talk to the tech in order to check the price, she said she'll call me back in 5 min. 2 min after i've received a call from her giving me an exact price (unlike other companies that i called to, some of them couldn't even do it since it's a flash key and needed a special equipment).

Before i gave them the ok to come i called the dealer, to see the price difference, to my surprise they were cheaper than the dealer. The tech was able to come an hour later made the key for me, showed me that it works and charged me exactly what i was told over the phone. If you're in need of a locksmith use this guys.

I should have checked here first. The first review was accurate. They quoted a range I figured I would be on the low end of that range but they ended up charging at the very top of the range. $95 for a 1 minute job. RIP OFF! In response to the owners response: I'm a field technician and I service PC's and network equipment in homes and businesses all over Los Angeles County.

If I went to a house and fixed their problem and it took 1 minute to do I would feel like a crook charging them $100. This does happen to me and in that case I offer to do something else for their hard earned dollar. Customers are very happy to have me do something else and appreciate my honesty and integrity. That's how I get repeat customers.

Your overpaid locksmith ($66 a minute) could have made us a set of keys or something! Instead he took the money and ran. This was not to get into our house but to our back storage room. If I was at the house and he said $95 I would have told him to leave and I would have broke the door knob off and replaced it for far less than you charged. Unfortunately I was not home and my parents, who don't speak very much English, were there and I feel they were taken advantage of. This is valuable information to you. You are welcome!
