They were able to navigate a tight space with a very large ladder for high installation and took precautions to protect the inside of our home. I had a GREAT first experience with Shafnisky Electric. Everyone I spoke with is top-notch -- professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk with, including Jenna at the office, Mark, who did the estimate, and Glenn, who did the work. Glenn arrived right on time, installed a new outlet exactly where I wanted it, cleaned up everything as soon as he finished, and answered all of my questions.

The price was reasonable too, including the cost for a bit of additional work I needed that wasn't part of the original estimate. It was an absolutely flawless experience from start to finish. I highly recommend them!

Highly recommend Shafinsky! I called Shafinsky under the impression that they were the electrical contractor of our home built 20+ year ago with a question regarding placement of electrical box which has since been covered in our finished basement. It turned out they were NOT the original contractor when house was built. From the professional office staff to the owner of the company calling me back and leaving a very insightful detailed message, I was treated as a long time customer. Based on the professionalism that was received with a phone call from a non customer, I could only imagine that type of excellence is carried forward with the service that they provide and i would not hesitate to recommend their company!

Emergency call on a freezing, snowy weekend night. Electrician arrived quickly, diagnosed the problem and got our power up. I run a very busy District Court in Bethlehem. These guys came in and replaced all the ceiling light fixtures over a week's period. They were polite, professional and efficient, and were able to do the job without any major disruptions to our work. The new LED light fixtures needed to be adjusted (they were much brighter than the old fluorescent fixtures) and they took the time to adjust the color and intensity to our liking.

I can't speak to pricing because the landlord paid for the work, but the service was outstanding. I would recommend them to others. I was so impressed and happy that I took the time to call the owner to tell him how much we appreciated their service.

HIGHLY recommend them! We had an issue and they sent a tech THAT DAY like within hours of my call- he was professional and went over EVERY step with me- fully explained what he was doing. He did suggest we look into getting a quote for the panel replacement and so glad he did- the price was spot on- and they also replaced the meter outside along with the lines- honestly a great group of guys that came out to the house-any questions I had were answered right away. I highly recommend Shafnisky Electric! We recently renovated our newly purchased circa 1896 home in the Historic District of Bethlehem. A house of that age has unique challenges & Shafnisky Electric did a great job with updating all of our electrical, while still honoring the charm of our older home. All knob and tube was removed and new wiring installed behind original light fixtures, they installed new recessed LED lights with dimmers throughout the entire house, new outlets, wiring for Wifi access points, and they also did the electrical work for our new kitchen and 2 1/2 bathrooms.

This was a huge project and they were on top of everything, and patient as things were being added on as the project progressed. Wendy and Jenna in the office were professional, courteous, and just a pleasure to work with. Tom, the owner, was always accessible, knowledgeable, and professional. I can't say enough for Dan, our project manager who was always available to us when we had questions. Dan made the overwhelming amount of choices and decisions to made so much easier. Thanks again to the entire team for making our home really feel like our home!

Not a super big deal, but I messed up wiring a gfi outlet and could not get circuit back up even after removing outlet. Called Shafnisky, Jena was very professional and a delight to deal with. A tech (Greg?)was in the area and routed to me in 20 minutes, knowledgeable, fast and informative. Even though this was not a major problem, the response was great.thanks again!

We were looking to upgrade our electrical panel and install some new outlets and the staff at Shafnisky Electric were so responsive and helpful every time I had to contact them. I have to say that this may come off as a bit bias because I've know The owner Tom Shafnisky since I was 5 years old. Having Friends who you would trust with your life might not be a common thing but that's how I feel about this guy. He is the nicest most professional man you will meet. He surrounds himself with top notch people in and out of his office. That's what makes his company stand above all others. He is honest and dependable and he expects that from all of his employees.

Shafnisky Electric was great to work with. One of the managers came to the house, looked at what I wanted done, and provided great advice to make my 1954 house safe. After the site visit, the scope of work statement and $qoute covered every thing I wanted and was reasonably priced. After the parts arrived at their shop, the work was scheduled and proceeded as expected.

Shafnisky is at it again! I would not recommend ANYONE other than Shafnisky for electrical needs. This is the third time in a matter of a year that Shafnisky has come to the rescue of not only my parents, but also to both sets of my elderly grandparents. Not only are they quick to respond, but they are respectful of your time and property and don't take advantage of you when you may already be in a vulnerable financial situation. We used Shafnisky Electric to set up our electric panel and run the necessary wires or whatever so we can safely use our new generator. I don't know any terminology to explain that better. Everything was handles professionally. We got a detailed written proposal. They came on time for the estimate and to do the work, which was completed quickly. The charge was within a few dollars of the other estimates we obtained. We will definitely use them again if we have a need.

I own a small contracting business and used Shafnisky for the electrical work on a home renovation. Full service replacement. They were excellent. The owner was great with a very detailed bid and very honest up front. The crew that did the work took pride and ownership in their work. The crew leader was very knowledgeable and worked well with my customer to give them what they wanted. They did minimal damage running wires. Shafnisky will be the first phone call I make for electrical needs on all future projects.
