Home & Drywall and Painting a review We were impressed right away when Brad came to our home to give us the estimate. He did a very thorough job of inspecting the area's where the work was to be done. Then he offered another idea for fixing the ceiling, which worked great and saved us thousands of dollars. Gilbert was the craftsman that came out to do the work.

Very polite and very professional. He put down plastic to protect the work areas and the pathway from the front door that he would need to walk through. He worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after he was done. I would highly recommend Home & Drywall and Painting for any work to be done at your home Thank you

We had such a great experience with Home Drywall and Painting. They were quick to give us an estimate for our basement ceiling drywall installation and the whole booking process was super smooth with Jorge. The team showed up the first day and had all of the drywall up that day and our basement is quite large! We were super impressed! They came back the second morning and finished everything up, cleaned up, and even fixed our sink for us that we broke!

The men hanging the drywall and the project manager were all fantastic and you could tell they truly cared about making this a great experience to work with them and cared about doing a great job! We have an attic renovation we will be doing in the future and will definitely be using Home Drywall & Painting to complete the drywall for that project! We highly recommend this company.

We highly recommend Home Drywall & Painting. There staff was very professional, thorough, and provided quality work. You truly do get what you pay for. Initially, my wife and I went with a lower cost contractor and ended up having to have their staff come back and fix all of their work. We will be going with them again for any future work! I had a sizable kitchen and dining room ceiling project involving removing cove/lath/plaster and then repairing the ceiling and adjacent upper walls. I was so impressed by Jorge and team in how it was completed and was glad that I went with this company. Jorge was the project manager / supervisor and he came out to my house numerous times to check on the 4 day project. Gustavo and Alex were the contractors working on the project and they did a wonderful job and I am so pleased with the result. Points to note: 1.

They showed up on time, every day. 2. The whole team was courteous, hardworking, and professional; I was very comfortable having them in my house when I had to leave for work. 3. They were very efficient and completed the project right on schedule. 4. They were respectful of my space and left it clean. 5. The estimate was consistent with the final invoice- there were no surprise costs at the end. 6.

I wasn't sure what texture I wanted to do on the ceiling and what would match the rest of my 1960's home, and so they made samples of multiple ceiling textures and let me decide (I ended up changing my mind at one point and was grateful that they made the samples!) I have attached one before and two after photos- keep in mind that the camera on my phone isn't great, but in person the ceiling is even, consistent texture with a pure ceiling white throughout. I would recommend Home Drywall and Painting to anyone and would be happy to use them in my future projects. Thank you Gustavo, Alex, and Jorge!

Branden inspected the needs in my house and had an estimate to me in a very timely fashion. He was courteous and professional. Jarrod and his crew repaired seams in my ceiling, as well as multiple spots that occur with aging houses. I have never seen more perfect Sheetrock work, or a house left so clean after workers have left! The painting crew who followed were also fast and did great work! I will most definitely use them again

We had a leak that plumbers needed to cut through the ceiling to repair which left us with a huge hole. Home and Drywall was so quick to respond to our repair request. The work was completed in a timely manner, affordable, and when the job was done, it literally looked like there was never a hole there. They also patched another large hole in our bedroom. Highly recommend and we'll be using their services for drywall repair and paint in the future! Thanks!

I was referred to Home Drywall by a neighbor that had their popcorn ceilings removed. I was able to see the work and it looks great! They came out to give me an estimate, pretty quickly after that, a crew was at my house. I had a knockdown texture done on all my ceilings, then I ask them to paint my kitchen and living room. I was very happy with the quality of the work and repairs and with my oversight manager.

Brad and his team at home drywall are wonderful! We recently purchased an older home, and the first thing on our list was to remove the popcorn ceiling throughout the entire home. Update: A few weeks after the project was finished, a representative from the company called me to ask how the job went. I let her know about the many issues that I had along the way. She made it clear that this was not acceptable and was something the owner would want to hear about. He called me but was not interested in my feedback. He did say he would come back to fix the paint in my hallway if needed. (Due to the damage caused from his crew I had to repaint most of my house and I managed to get some paint on the ceiling).

He let me know that he would have the project coordinator get in touch with me to discuss. Of course that did not happen so I instead wrote my initial review online. Once the review was posted, a rep from the company called, again apologized and told me they would have someone come out to repaint the hallway if I was willing to have them back. They sent Gustavo out to repaint the hallway last week and he did a great job.------------------------ Original review: Hired them to remove popcorn ceilings in my house.

Don't make the same mistake. Horrible communication. Didn't show up on the first day of the project as scheduled. Missed entire days of the project with no explanation. Not on time a single day when they did show up. Damaged walls, which I was then responsible for. Damaged furniture and appliance. Forced us to stay in a hotel despite promising we would be able to occupy our home during the project. Did not finish in time frame promised. Had to redo large section of ceiling due to bad work. They do not value their customers. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company.

We had a big job, with a plaster ceiling falling down in 2 places, and cracks in the walls. No smaller independent contractors were willing to do it. Jorge from Home Drywall gave a quick estimate and the project started 4 weeks later. They removed one ceiling completely and replaced it with drywall. The other ceiling was over a high stairwell that required high skill. Horacio and crew did a nice job drywalling the whole ceiling. Finally, they skim coated the whole stairwell to cover cracks in the plaster.

They even skim coated a separate section of wall, adding to the original job. They were always punctual and communicated their schedule. They accommodated our schedule one day when we needed them not to come. Overall I am pleased with the quality of what was a big and messy job.

Home Drywall & Paint scraped my popcorn ceiling, completed a knockdown texture and painted the ceiling. Brad was great to work with on the estimate and follow-up tweaks to the estimate and project. The crew came in and completed the work on the schedule that was promised. They left my home very clean and arranged to come back the following week to reinstall the light fixtures that needed to be removed for the project. I would recommend them to my friends and neighbors and would hire them again when the need arises!

Danny was so helpful and responsive when assisting me find a vendor for fixing a clients drywall. I was kept in the loop every step of the inspection and estimate. Danny has been very thorough and gave me the peace of mind that the client would receive the best service available! Will absolutely use them for any future work orders in the area!

We contracted with Home Drywall & Painting for some work in a finished basement. They removed some old texture on the ceilings, skim-coated the ceilings, and painted. They also made some drywall repairs in a few areas. We were impressed with our experience in several ways: - The workers showed up when they said they would. - Everyone we dealt with was courteous and professional. - They took great care in preparing the space for work, and left it very clean. - The work they did met or exceeded all of our expectations.

In retrospect, we would have preferred the bid to be itemized rather than a single sum. We would use Home Drywall and Painting for another project, and would recommend them to friends and family as a high-quality professional service provider.

Got an estimate from Branden and the work for sheet rocking and painting was started and completed in Oct 2021. The supervisor came the first day to set up plastic and take wood base boards off the wall for the sheet rocking. The team of workers arrived the second day and spent the next 4 days sheet rocking the front parlor walls and the ceiling in the entryway.

I did not see the supervisor any of the 4 days the sheet rocker/painting crew were here. When the job was completed and the crew had left, I checked the work. That's when I noticed that there was paint along the sides of all the woodwork in the front parlor and caulking smeared on the wood ceiling trim in the entryway. I immediately called the main crew person who ran the team that week.

I also called the supervisor and left a message. I never got a chance to connect with the supervisor but was able to connect with Danny at the office on Monday. The head crew person offered to come back to the house the next day (Sat) to clean up the paint and caulking. The crew person did return the following day but it was obvious to me that he knew very little about painting or cleaning the wood.

I finally asked him to stop cleaning and said I would call the office on Monday to ask what could be done. Danny at the office was very helpful at this time. I sent photos of all the areas that needed cleaning and was told that a new crew would be sent out immediately. Supervisor Gustavo and his crew member Elmer assured me they could clean up what was done by the past crew. Elmer spent two full days cleaning the woodwork in the Parlor and cleaning and re-caulking the entryway.

He did an excellent job and Gustavo was there at least three times each day and talked to me about the work. It's unfortunate that the first supervisor was not around after the work began or when the work was finished so that maybe there would never have been this problem in the first place! Apparently there are several different crews that work for the company and I would suggest that you ask for Gustavo and his crew since they are knowledgeable about painting and sheet rock as well. Very happy with the final job after the clean-up, Thanks to Gustavo and Elmer!

Home Drywall & Painting were quick to respond to my call and my ask. They sent an estimator out fairly quickly. He was thorough and professional in my home. I got a quote within a couple of days. The work: Interior ceiling: scrape popcorn, smooth, and paint Interior walls: cover/remove wallpaper residue, smooth, and paint Alcove: drywall, paint The work was performed well, but if you have an older Minneapolis home like I do (1906), these homes require special techniques and some previous experience.

The work crew were diligent, friendly, thorough, and tidy. However, they didn't have much experience working on these older homes, as evidenced by large gaps left between walls and wood trim (no filler used), paint splashed onto trim, and a general inability to create clean lines. Again, this house is old and definitely different from new construction, so I understand if not everyone is familiar with how to paint this type of home. Overall, I was satisfied despite some of the items mentioned above. I did have the crew come back to fill some gaps and clean up some lines, which they did promptly.

When we moved to Colorado recently, we needed some dry wall repair in the home we purchased. We reached out to Home Drywall and Painting and they were super helpful and easy to work with. They were prompt to get us an estimate that was very fair. They also scheduled us quickly and the repairs were done with a decent turn around time. I would recommend them to anyone in the area and also would use them again!

I had a ceiling drywall water damage resulting in a big hole in the kitchen ceiling from inspection. Brad and his associate Tim took the task and did a wonderful job. Brad and Tim very both super punctual. Brad gave a timeline and finished it before the task expected timeline. It was a big job of patching the ceiling hole first and doing the popcorn ceiling for the whole kitchen. We are beyond satisfied with the timely job and the cost. Home Drywall & Painting worked with me on a basement remodeling project. The team handled the repairing, taping, and mudding of the drywall and painted the walls. They were very responsive and detailed in communication, started and completed the project well within their timeline estimate, and the finished basement walls look great!

This company promised a lot less than it delivered. The results of repairing a ceiling matched the existing ceiling almost perfectly, even though they cautioned it was unlikely they could make it perfect. Although they took their time, they did the job quickly.

When we hired Home Drywall I knew I would get quality work and they proved it. I'm a retired construction contractor and knew that the estimator (Branden) knew what he was doing in our initial estimate. The price was worth the money.

Over all a great experience. Probably the easiest we have had when working with contractors to finish our lower level. Communication and response to questions was fast. I would definitely call Home Drywall again and we have already recommended them to family for some painting work!

We had a lower level remodel due to water damage. We met with numerous companies and were happy to finally find one we could trust. Initially I was put off by charging for a bid and thought I'd cancelled the appointment. So glad I didn't cancel. Working with the project manager Matt was outstanding! He was highly professional, great attention to the little details even I overlooked.

I am so happy I decided to hire Home Drywall and Painting! I had a water leak on my beautiful and new smooth ceiling. I was devastated and didn't know what to do. Branden came out and gave me a quick estimate and within the next week I had a guy fixing my ceiling back to new.
