When I explained what I needed in a front gate, he responded immediately and walked me through the possibilities in wood types and procedure for decision-making, always patient with my questions. The work was completed on time and follow-up was always immediate. I was truly satisfied with all aspects of the experience, and I love my new front gate.

Narrow Leaf custom built and installed two finely crafted gates for the front and back of our wall-enclosed home. Tom and his team are true artisans, they did a fantastic job; the attention to detail and craftsmanship in these gates has us looking out our windows each day admiring the beauty. As an example of their attention to detail, where wood joints meet the joints are so perfectly aligned and sanded to perfection that you can't even feel a hint of an uneven 'lip' of two separate pieces of wood meeting. Tom provided us a thorough discussion during the wood selection and gate design process, and kept us updated while he built the gates. Tom was extremely helpful when I went to pickup the gate he had made for me. Gave me all the information I needed to get the gate up and going, what hinges to used, how to hang it, and the stain to protect it. I recently had my front custom gate rebuilt by Tom. He did a beautiful job. Very pleased with his professionalism and attention to details. Would certainly use his company again for any woodworking project.

We needed to replace a deck, arbor, have stucco replaced/cleaned, some roofing repaired along with updated landscaping, fencing and walkway. It was a pleasure working with Tom and team as they provided good guidance and options for the project. They were also able to coordinate with our schedules. The work was professionally done and looks fabulous.

Back in September 2014, they came out and dug a drain around my garage pad for drainage and also installed a wooden gate on one doorway to my side patio. Both of these projects proved to be useless over time. The wooden gate sagged, split and cracked even though I have used Flood on it twice since then. Found a bar on Amazon to fix the sagging but the gate itself is still split apart in a couple places.

That was after a bout two years. I had another gate made and installed by Adobe Doors- still in great shape, much better workmanship. The drainage ditch dug around my garage pad also proved completely useless, likely because all they did was dig the ditch, put in flex pipe(or PVC-can't remember but the drain that comes out is PVC) with holes, and filled in the ditch with stones.

They should have put a sleeve around the PVC to keep the holes from filling up with dirt. Should have known- got three estimates, took the middle one but didn't go look at their other projects first. The drainage ditch work states "Trench and install a 4-inch flex drain pipe on the north and east sides of the driveway slab- it will be routed south to the low area of the front yard. Gravel will be placed around the pipe for easy infiltration of water." Ha-ha- funny.

It does nothing and never has- no sleeve, as I stated, so I'm sure those holes in the flex pipe filled up long ago. The water doesn't go anywhere until it dries up and leaves a bunch of dirt on my driveway. It flowed down past the driveway and uncovered the PVC drain into the yard which I have to keep covering with dirt because it's turning black from I guess the sun. Or whatever. Again, useless. Don't bother- like so many other things in New Mexico, I would have been better off doing it myself. They stink.

SOD GRASS Installation - My back yard lawn was completely gone due to renters neglect, only dirt and a few weeds. I hired Narrow leaf to put a new lawn in. The deal was they were to roto-till the soil, put in amemendments and top-soil and then top it off with sod. I has repeatedly asked to have them tll me when they were to install so I couid be home to open gates, etc.

In April 2018 I was surprised to arrive home one day and found the whole job was nearly finished. So I do not know what was exactly done. I do know the now the new lawn is very uneven, with large bumps and depressions, high spots and low spots, such that mowing it is a real pain since the mower blades or wheels get stuck on either a hill or trough and water unevenly settle in these troughs and leaves dry spots in the high other areas.

All along the side walk there is a depression followed by a sharp rise. So it appears as if the soil was not leveled and tamped down with a roller (as it should have been). I had one of their staff come out to check the condition of the grass out. He indicated that the owner would get back with me, I have heard nothing. I will never hire them again or recommend to friends and neighbors.

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to sit down until now and email you my deep appreciation and thanks! You guys did an AWESOME job on our gate. We totally love it, it's perfect and I feel our back patio is so much more secure. What a pleasure to have a nice sturdy and beautiful gate. Now that we have this gate completed, I want to work on our front gate.

Tom Again, thank you and your crew of Jeff and Raul. They worked very hard and very well together, working to build a beautiful shade covering precisely as you described. They also answered any questions I had, making me more appreciative of the detail work involved in making our beautiful, very functional patio cover.

Hi Tom, The deck is complete and I just wanted to let you know that I am very impressed. It looks very sharp and we are so pleased with the outcome. Unfortunately I was not home when Jeff and his partner, I never got his name, completed the deck. I feel terrible that I was unable to express my gratitude to them face to face.

Tom and his whole crew did an excellent job with our front and backyard. My wife and I went thru almost a dozen estimates before deciding to go with Narrow Leaf. It was a pretty significant job, replacing nearly every square foot of our front and backyard, laying almost 400sqft of new concrete, building a beautiful new pergola, new rock throughout.

On behalf of April, I can say that we are very pleased! The eyebrow cut on the top of the door is perfect. Had some nice comments from folks that attended the rehearsal dinner last night in our backyard. Thanks for your very professional services!

So many problems, so little time. This outfit really did a number on my yard. Leaky pipes, loose hoses, low pressure, and dangling wires are just some of the problems they left me. Missed appointments, failed return calls. I could go on.
