Our Sub Zero refrigerator, twenty years old, failed on us. Within four hours of calling Don Bacon, technician Justin B was at our door. He was highly professional in his work, explained the problem to us, arranged to have repair parts delivered to us within a couple hours, and fixed the issue. All the while, he was conversational and polite, a very well spoken individual.

The next day I experienced a problem of my own making on the freezer racks. Justin tried mightily to solve it by phone, and failing that he came to our house within 45 minutes and fixed the issue readily. Very high praise for this fine company and for Justin B.

Your employee, Drew has been to my condo twice now for repairs on my dishwasher & yesterday my refrigerator/freezer. He worked very hard trying to locate the problem. When he did discover what was going on he actually left to get a part & quickly repaired what was needed. He is very informative about what is happening to the appliance. I had an issue with my Samsung gas dryer. Unfortunately, I called someone else first who charged over $400 for a repair that only lasted 5 weeks. My next call was to Don Bacon. The technician, Drew, was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient and diagnosed the problem and fixed it permanently for much less. I'll never call anyone else!

Appliance repair gives me anxiety due to the concern that we're about to be ripped off, something is going to be damaged, or the technician is going to be a jerk. Bacon is just the opposite in every sense. The technician, John, was amazing. Super nice, easy to talk with, and definitely open and honest. He was professional and the pricing was very fair. He protected everything and was very cautious. I will call Bacon next time for sure.

Called us in the morning and advised the. To hour window of time the rep would be there to fix the problem with the dryer, 10 minutes into the start of the window the rep called, showed up a few minutes afterwards and resolved the problem in 30 minutes. Rep was really knowledgeable, parts were on the truck, and I could not have believed it would have went so well, we have used Don Bacon appliances previously and highly recommend them. thank you

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would do so in a heartbeat. Ian with Don Bacon Appliance came to our home twice in the last two weeks to service our dryer. Ian was kind, helpful, and effecient. It was worth the little wait for the part because Ian quickly resolved our issues and got us back in business. It always scores service workers MAJOR points with me when they acknowledge my children. Ian went above and beyond here.

He immediately interacted with my 3 year old son during his first visit. My son asked him if he had stickers, and unfortunately this time he did not. However, immediately upon walking in our door on his second visit, Ian greeted my son with stickers. It made his day. There should be more Ians out there! Thank you! Don Bacon is so lucky to have Ian as an employee and as a face for their company.

He is top notch. I will be sure to recommend Ian and Don Bacon to family and friends in the future/we will definitely use them again if we find ourselves in need of service. Thanks again, Ian!

Made an appointment and was scheduled within a week. Office staff called to confirm. Super friendly and professional. Was called morning of to confirm, and call within half hour of arrival. Repair staff was professional & completed repair no issue. Pricing was very reasonable and within my expectation. I had previously purchased the repair part, which was no issue. Definitely recommend Don Bacon Appliance Service.

We had our dishwasher go out and called Bacon for a service appointment. They called ahead and were on time. Drew was our service man and he was very friendly and professional. His advice to us was not to have it fixed and it was at the end of it life. I feel he could very well have charged us to fix it and then have something else go wrong down the line. I would definitely recommed their service and will call them for future repairs.

I wasn't going to write a review but after thinking about it I really feel like there is a little bait and swap going on. I made the appointment to have my Bosch double ovens repaired - gave the model number what the issues were in detail etc. I'm giving two stars because I was told up front that their would be a "a minimum trip fee" which I thought was fair.

The tech was very nice - but he could not repair the oven because "the part was discontinued" - he changed the light bulb and presented us a bill of over $300 - You would have thought that with the very detailed explanation that was given about what was wrong with the appliance that a review of parts availability would be part of the process. If I had been told up front that the electronic panel for my ovens was no longer available I would have just replaced the ovens.

The tech was nice - this company is large enough to know what appliance parts are no longer available when given a make and model. Instead - they treated us like we were just a number sitting in the service que. Mediocrity is apparently the new excellent.

I highly recommend Don Bacon Appliance Service! Our washing machine was leaking water. I contacted a few places to get it repaired. Don Bacon Appliance provided me with a date. I was contacted on the agreed upon date and was given a window of "between 1pm and 3pm" My wife said the serviceman (Drew) was there at around 1:15pm. My wife also said he was polite and helpful. Completing the repair and assuring that it was running properly before his departure. We appreciate the service, professionalism and punctuality. Thank you Drew and Don Bacon Appliance Service.

I Have a 600 series Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer. It is 17 years old. Recently the refrigerator (fresh food) side was having trouble holding temperature. Called Don Bacon and Dan arrived. He diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes as a leaking evaporator coil. Then came the miracle. He said he could fix it right then as he has the parts on his truck!

That was a first! Normally the repair guy would have to order the part and return in a couple weeks to repair. Dan did a thorough repair job and even, without my asking, replace two burned out light bulbs in the unit! Fist class service, the best I have had in my memory. (And I am 81 years old.) I noticed everyone gives Don Bacon 5 stars as I did. They deserve them.

Drew has done service at our home before and is always top notch. This time he was repairing our stove door hinges and putting a new heating element in one of the ovens. Two days earlier he came and diagnosed the issues in less than 10 minutes. The parts came in tow days and he installed everything today. He is professional, polite and very skilled. He is why we keep on coming back to Don Bacon. Thanks you Drew.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Read lots of reviews on Bacon before selecting them. Only negative I read was the high prices. My experience this morning with our Whirlpool dryer was fantastic. Service Rep was friendly, honest, sincere and explained everything. We both weighed the decision to replace the timer for $310 or buy a new dryer for $500. Service Rep said he personally would repair it because it is a solid brand, rest of dryer looked good.

I agreed. I really came away knowing the Bacon Serivce Rep cared about doing it right and was very open when he was first diagnosing the issue. VERY IMPRESSED with this humble young man!

Absolute rip off outfit DO NOT USE. they tried to charge me 150 for a dishwasher hose i bought online for 44. Didnt do anything and then wanted to charge me 139 for diagnosis which makes me laugh because i told them what was wrong when their arrived. Agent said they would void the call but then they tried to bill me 159.right Not paying that. Beware of these thieves they will rip you off.

I purchased a new to me home with a built in subzero refrigerator. It had a couple of issues with it so I called them. The technician figured it out quickly had the parts to repair and gave me an estimate within 15 min. Asked him his opinion if anything looked suspicious, he stated no all looks good. A+

We called this company and they came out to assess our fridge. Told us he couldnt fix because it's a discontinued brand so couldn't order parts. THOUGHT it may be issue with a piece controlling temp. We lost 150 dollars because of their fee to visit and check. I called another company for a second opinion and he actually opened up to see what's wrong instead of just running electronic checks. This other company ordered us the parts and told us what was wrong. Not a good business practice.

I will never call this company again. They wanted $280 to fix an oven that's only about $400 new. The guy even admitted that the part wasn't very expensive and it wasn't hard to put on. I opted to pay the outrageous service call fee of $159 instead and just cut my losses. I think $159 is a bit much for the less than half of an hour that they were here.

Don Bacon Appliance Service is a Company that gives exceptional customer service, unlike many companies that have let their customer service fall to the wayside. I had Don Bacon service at my house for a broken oven. We found out it had been installed incorrectly which prevented repair. Don Bacon Service responded to the issue professionally and in my eyes will keep me from ever having to call anyone else.

Don Bacon Appliance Service worked on my Scotsman ice maker several times. When problems persisted, Mr. Bacon initiated a call to me and offered a perfect solution to solve my issues with ice maker. Great customer service! They have earned my loyalty. I recommend them highly.
