Tops roofing did a great job replacing my roof. They found issues with rotted plywood and gave me options and pricing to fix the issue. They also noticed my bathroom vent wasn't properly venting through the roof and fixed that issue as well. The workers were professional and cleaned up after themselves including cleaning up a pile of leaves we had on the back patio without us asking them to do it.

I highly recommend Tops for home renovation needs. They finished our two day job in one, working late to avoid impending rain. All of the workers were very friendly and focused and we couldn't be happier with our new roof. Service: Roof installation

Extremely professional. The owner takes great pride in his business and it shows. We had our roof replaced and a new roof vent and cooktop vent installed. Price was very competitive. Crew was friendly and professional. Job took 3 days. The crew cleaned up after themselves every day which we really appreciated as we were concerned about nails on the ground with children and a dog. Tops Roofing and remodeling has been our "go to" company for roof and siding work since around 2005. The original job was the replacement of both the roof and siding replacement on our home. They also did extensive work on my parent's home and some work at my wife's parent's home since then. We originally selected Tops out of roughly 6 proposals because Tom was the only person who actually went onto the roof to do a thorough evaluation of what was needed (As well as you can without removing materials) and also was quick to explain why some things I was requesting should not be done.

When requested multiple proposals were given using different types and quality of materials. The quality of their work has consistently been very good. His people have been professional, respectful, and courteous. They just finished replacing our garage roof after the recent high winds and everything was done well and the job site cleaned up. There was not a single stray nail or piece of debris to be found.

It is very difficult to leave a job site THAT clean and I normally expect to find a few stray items. Has there ever been a hiccup or two? Of course. Construction jobs on older structures rarely go perfectly without any issues. Items like vendors sending the wrong materials happen. A 65+ year old garage being a bit out of square happens. Changes or adjustments sometimes have to be made on the fly.

But whenever those few issues have popped up, Tops / Tom has been responsive, fair, and quick to work with us to resolve the problem and get the job done. We remain extremely satisfied with Tops Roofing and Remodeling. We will use them again for our own needs and will continue to recommend them to others. I should add that I am employed in a service business, so I can truly appreciate a job well done and good service.

Tom Corey, President of the company, guaranteed the roofing job and that the gutters would not get icicles when we had them replaced September 2019. Prior to the repairs, we had no leakage issues with our roof or icicles on our gutters. Since then, our roof is leaking. We have water damage on our bathroom ceiling that is worsening. We get dangerous icicles hanging from our gutters.

We have been in contact with Tops for over 20 months regarding these issues. Once, they sent out a man, Ron, to look at the roof. He went up (took pictures he sent my husband) and did a quick fix with glue. We were then told by Tom to buy paint and paint the ceiling, which we did not do because that doesn't solve the problem. It just covers it up. Well, the ceiling damage is getting worse.

The gutter issue was never resolved. And I have no doubt we have mold in our crawl space attic from the water damage. My husband has been reaching out to them to no avail. I called the office July 29th, 2021 and left a message. I sent a text with photos to Tom the same day. No response, again. We are fed up. We spent nearly $20,000 for the new roof and gutters to end up with horrible results they refuse to fix properly.

Not to mention, they started the job on a Thursday. Tarped the house Friday afternoon. Came back Monday. Finished Tuesday. FOUR days to do the job over the course of SIX days. They left cigarette butts, shingles, nails, wood pieces, and trash all over our yard. They damaged some of our siding. We spent all of Wednesday cleaning up after them. Absolutely the worst company we have ever dealt with. The icicle and roof damage is on my husband's phone. When he is home from work, I will add those photos to this review, if I can.

I recently hired Tops Roofing & Remodeling to replace the roof on my mother's house in Erie, PA. She applied for financing which first required Tops to jump through a few hurdles to qualify as a contractor for that financing. Tom was thoroughly responsive to those requests for information from the lender and did so in a timely manner. During the roof installation, Tom stayed in contact with me by phone to provide daily progress updates and scope of work updates.

Since I live out of town, the communication provided during this entire process was absolutely necessary for me to get this done. I needed a contractor who I could communicate with and trust that things were getting done the way we agreed to and thankfully that company is Tops Roofing and Remodel. We also appreciated the respect and professionalism of the crew and are happy with the finished product.

Tops roofing & remodeling Co are very professional and very very fantastic at everything they do from the moment you call them to the complete clean up after the Job is done. The workers are trustworthy at completing a job. We had a roof installation by Tops roofing, and I've seen other jobs they do a amazing job, I highly recommend them and do to family and friends! Ended up having the roof installed to late in the season. Workmanship was shoddy, needed three call backs to fix leaks. Flashing around chimney was reused, until the third time then was replaced like it should have been at start. Old vent holes weren't covered just shingled over. Snow covered after second call back then a ton of salt sprayed on roof. Soffits and facia also poor job, sagging, gaps, etc, called back. Roof seems to be ok now, still dealing with soffits, repairing myself. This was a major expense to not have it done right its inexcusable, definitely shop around

Work was performed as was written in contract. Tom did an excellent job in not only providing a written quote but spent at least an hour with me going over all the details of the work scope with me. He adjusted his written quote as I asked with no problem. Work was performed from start to finish as promised. Workers were professional.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and your amazing crew for the wonderful job they did replacing our roof. They showed up as a virtual army at 8 am on Monday; and were done by lunch time on Tuesday. I was personally impressed by their speed and professionalism; and upon arriving home on Tuesday evening. I had neighbors saying Wow! Who were those guys?

I called TOPS and was able to get a quote done the same day. Tom was extremely nice and professional. We hired TOPS Roofing & Remodeling in June 2016. Our roof was scheduled for mid-July, but completed a week or two earlier. The crew was excellent, hard working and extremely nice. They came in at 7AM and finished the entire roof by 7PM. The roof color and quality is great.

We are very pleased with this company. The quote was affordable and highly reasonable considering the size of the job. The contract was precise and easy to follow. I highly recommend this company. Thank you for doing such a great job on our roof :

We were given a detailed description of the work that was to be done. This included removal of shingles and a replacement roof. We were provided with addresses of other properties who have had roof replacement by this company. We were given ample time to choose the shingles. They scheduled to do the work in a timely and mutually agreeable time frame.

We took proposals from at least ten different companies. Yours was more or less in the middle of the road. So why did we select Tops over others, including the lower proposals? You were the difference. Like the others, you listened to what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it. But that was where the similarity ended.

Mr. Corey gave me a free estimate and went out of his way to go on my roof and into the attic and crawlspace. He was very professional and his price was competitive. He could not have been better. He followed up and came to my home to inspect everything and ensure the work was satisfactory.

Tom is great. He does everything in his power to satisfy his costumer. A great man.
